“The friends we sent this to seemed happy with it but since it was. Christmas gift it was rather pointless that it arrived on 30th December! Very disappointing and wouldn’t order again”

“Really delicious mixture of good quality products. Easy to purchase, comes well packaged and presented. I bought the Brownie advent calendar, boyfriend box, selection of beers, and chocolate whisky liquor. All came in time for Christmas and advent. All recipients very pleased!”

“Terrible contact and order fulfilment. Couldn’t get in touch with them to find my order after it disappeared and didn’t arrive in time for Christmas as promised - clearly took way too many orders and didn’t bother letting anyone know the truth of the situation. Very disappointing and won’t use again.”

“My order didn't arrive on time which was disappointing as it was a Christmas present for my brother. Initially communication was very poor but I did eventually get a very apologetic email. I am awaiting a refund now as my order was too late to be of use. Hopefully this will be straight forward. I would be hesitant to use Boroughbox again although did appreciate the email.”

“My orders placed on the 9/12/20 to be delivered on the 21/12/20. You lied to me saying they would be picked up on the 22/12/20 to be delivered on the 23/12/20. You kept taking orders knowing you couldn't deliver before Christmas.”

“The gift was well presented and of good quality when it arrived. The delivery was well outside the suggested timescale at the point of ordering but customer service did reply to my email queries within 48 hours. I am sure that at Christmas in a pandemic they were dealing with unprecedented demands, so all in all I was pleased with the product and the service in the end.”

“My order placed for christmas has still not arrived - the tracking shows the order is still not with the despatch and any attempt to contact borough box has so far resulted in no help - just a request to fill in a review. So my ultimate christmas hamper is still not delivered”

“I placed an order on 10 December. On 23 December I was contacted by the courier to say that the order had been returned to you as it was damaged. I have heard nothing from you about a replacement and no response to my emails or a phone message.”
