I ordered 12 units of an item. It took them almost three weeks to ship the item. I will not order from them again. They also told me they wouldn't refund my card because the items were late.

Sent frozen Italian I’ve with NO INDICATION that there was something perishable inside the night before I left to visit my Navy son before he deploys. 🤬

Went to website and selected mash potatoes, order receipt came a few minutes later with breaded chicken, onion bagels and pork chops! The only thing they got right was the quantity. Trying to reach their customer service took over a week. Sent several emails, called multiple times finally got a customer service agent. he was nice but I could tell right from the beginning of the call they weren't going to help me. His first comment he made is I must have ordered the wrong items... Oh and with COVID there are no returns, well if they would have looked at the emails from " Contact Us" they would have known my order was wrong and could have corrected it. I then went to look at their reviews and read all of these reviews, what a mistake ordering from them. They make money while pushing product they can't move. With COVID I'm sure they are sitting on a lot of extra product that needs to be moved. Everyone needs to go on social media and tell everybody about this company.

This company is missing a thing called customer service they sold me food and shipped it so slow and in a manor that caused the food to be spoiled and it was also smashed to snot when it arrived. I attempted to contact them to receive no reply. They shipped frozen food from east coast to California with dry ice which is risky and insane apparently no one in the company understands how long the dry ice lasts it evaporated and frozen food arrived warm and gross. I am not sure how in this era that a company can conduct business like this and still be in business. CAREFUL when ordering ANYTHING perishable or anything that might not withstand being smashed and crushed. their dry ice smashed the product inside the make shift cooler the outer box was in fine condition. I still have package and photos so this is not a post I submit without proof. They do not even communicate with you ORDER at your own risk I would stay away from anything perishable.

I will NEVER make the mistake of ordering from here again. I (unfortunately) discovered this place a few months ago when toilet paper and paper towel was impossible to find. I ordered paper towel and a few other items. It took a long while to get my items and I never did receive the paper towel. Weeks later, I was still insisting on my refund and my money was eventually returned. I made the mistake of placing another order since I had a $10 coupon. First, the item was out of stock. It took weeks just to finally ship. The item, which was supposed to be frozen, arrived completely defrosted, soft and in pieces. What a huge waste. I am waiting to hear from the company, but I am incredibly disappointed and will not order from them again, even if the items are free. (The video taken within thirty minutes of delivery. There was no freezer pack/ice/dry ice within the package.)

If I could give this company NO STARS, I would. They don’t deserve to be in business. They ship frozen food using UPS Ground. Perishable items don’t last for over a week in a hot delivery truck. Customer service is abysmal. They don’t answer their phones (which has an area code located in Compton,CA although they are in Virginia). They don’t answer e-mails and they turned off their online chat. After I spammed their social media with my grievances, they blamed ME for ordering frozen food on a Tuesday instead of a Friday. Are you kidding me? This company needs to be reported to BBB and shut down for sending consumers perished food items that could cause food poisoning. Unacceptable customer service and business practices. Their website says they don’t even offer refunds- just store credit. Do not ever buy from this company or you will be on the phone with your bank to get your money back.

The product they shipped was a disappointment to say the least. When you contact them they tell you to contact the manufacturer of the product. This company does not stand behind the product they ship even though their website promotes quality items. Stay away from this company.

stay away The flipped a product on me which they were out of. Never asked if I wanted to switch. I refused delivery. One month later they sent it again. Do not leave a credit card on file You will get stuff you never wanted.

Ordered peaches and did not realize the cans were 105 oz, not 15oz. Also went to site twice and when order placed it was 2 orders. After realizing my mistake, tried to cancel the order. sent 4 or 5 emails requesting cancelation within a 24 hr period. Phoned and left message also.. NOT ONE REPLY FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE WORST COMPANY I EVER DEALT WITH STAY AWAY.

I wish I had come here and saw these reviews before I ordered. What did they think was going to be the end result when a shipment of frozen milkshakes takes 7 days to get to its destination and then rides around on a UPS truck for 17 hours. Let me tell you what happens. 1. All the dry ice was melted and the milkshakes were sitting on empty bags. 2. All the milkshakes were nothing but mush. 3. The milkshakes that were upside down had leaked out all over the cardboard. I contacted them on live chat and what followed was unbelievable. They wanted pictures of the "damage" to send to UPS for a claim. I told them pictures of empty dry ice bags and vanilla ice cream melted on cardboard would have UPS laughing in their faces. It's not like they drop kicked or ran over the boxes but the damage was there none the less. I was subtly called a liar because I wouldn't take pictures of the "damage". Then the delay in arriving was blamed on Covid-19 which is something every business is blaming their bad practices on. So essentially I am SOL because they don't think they are responsible for how they shipped out frozen product. Every other place I've ordered frozen items from ships FED-X and arrives in 1-2 days. Who the hell uses UPS ground for frozen food??? Maybe its time to contact the DA and BBB in their state and file complaints before they kill someone with rotten, thawed out food.

My husband needed a product which I ordered 2 cases of from this company. It later said out of stock and they switched the product on me-- Now I will receive 2 cases of a product with rice grain that he cannot eat... I will have to donate it - which is ok but, it was very rude of them to do this They should have given me a refund or credit... Be careful when ordering

I accidentally ordered too much product. I tried to call I tried to email they did not respond. They sent me $245 worth of product that I needed about $50 worth. They continue to send me product throughout the month despite my trying to cancel. The worst part is the product will expire in 30 days so it is old product on top of that. I would never order from this company again

FOOD POISONING ALERT! Purchase frozen fish from this company, but they shipped FROZEN FISH out over UPS ground shipping, when they said on their website it would be shipped out 1-2 day shipping. LIARS. I had the package refused. Over the course of this problem, I've called, emailed, called, emailed the Food Service Direct company, but NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. Is there any PROTECTION OVER FOOD SOLD IN THE UNITED STATES? This company needs to be put out of business or fined for selling DANGEROUS FOOD that can cause FOOD POISONING.

HORRIFIC CUSTOM SERVICE!!! I almost think there is no one that works in this department. I share the same experience as the reviews below me. Damaged goods arrived and I emailed and called for several weeks with no reply. Also missing items with no future delivery date at all!!! It’s sad because I was hoping they would be my go to place for everything. My last email to them said I will have to write a truthful review because someone else’s order with hundreds or more spent could get screwed by them and I wouldn’t want that.

Foodservicedirect.com continues to advertise products as "Stocked" that will ship within 1 business day but once you place an order a few days later you receive an email that your order is delayed due to Covid-19. Then when you check availability of that product again on their website it still shows "Stocked" and ready to ship in 1 business day. Foodservicedirect.com is nothing but a shell-game scam!
