“Ordered a beautiful bouquet for our daughter on Mother’s Day. The flowers were never delivered. Customer Service said they would deliver them even if late. Late flowers never arrived. They offered a 30% refund. I insisted on a full refund. To date, no refund has been issued. Very poor business. Will never use FTD again.”
“I ordered daffodils for my aunt. Needless to say I am really disappointed. I thought I was going to get a beautiful plant, instead I got trash .so I called, and had them resend it again, the same thing. I called for a refund and they said no, water it, it will boom in 3 days. I paid 74 bucks, after complaining, they said they would give me a 15 dollar credit, I said keep it. No more FTD for me”
“I ordered flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day. They called me on Mother’s Day and told me they were not able to deliver them until the day after Mother’s Day. They promised to call and apologize to my mom for the mix up. They never called and never delivered the flowers. When I called them to find out what happened, they said they could give me a partial refund. I told them that was fraud to offer a service, not provide the service and then refund part of the money back. They claim the money will now be fully refunded in a few days. We shall see.”
“I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day for my elderly mom on Monday 5/3 to be delivered on Friday 5/9 (2 days before Mother’s Day) I was told by 5 pm. Flowers were not delivered I was upset and canceled the order on 6/9 in the evening. Order was canceled and refunded. I had to buy something else last minute. Today 5/14 someone is calling me telling me they want to deliver the flowers today Wednesday (5/14/25) 3 days past Mother’s day. They must be deranged Mother’s Day is over it is too late. I am very disappointed with FTD Flowers first time ordering from them.”
“I ordered Mother’s Day flowers for my mother who lives in Manchester on Thursday, May 9. The flowers were to be delivered on Saturday. Not only were the flowers not delivered on Saturday. They weren’t delivered on Sunday or Monday. The flowers were delivered three days late and two days after Mother’s Day. There was no communication by the florist or by FTD who I ordered them through. Very disappointing and I will never use FTD or flowers by Evelyn again.
I am still waiting for my sister’s flowers to be delivered that we’re supposed to be delivered on Monday. I am unsure if flowers by Evelyn picked up that order off of FTD or not. Time will tell in the next review will be written.
Not to mention all this with a premium added for Mother’s Day delivery. FTD offered 10% off my next order. Do I look like a sucker?”
“I ordered a Mother's Day bouquet on 5/9/25, two days before Mother's Day. I paid a total of $125.16 in order to get Saturday (weekend) delivery so that the flowers would be delivered to my mother on/before Mother's Day. However, the order was delivered on the following Monday, over two days late. I am dissatisfied, having paid extra for a Saturday delivery. Moreover, the flowers were not fresh. The petals fell of the roses as I was taking the bouquet out of the delivery box.
I complained to FTD (via the chat function on their website) when I realized they were going to be delivering late (this was before the bouquet actually arrived) and their response was "We can offer you a 30% discount". At that time, I opted for the discount; they "refunded" $19.90 to my payment card (NOT 30% as they stated). Then, when the bouquet finally arrived, the flowers were not fresh; the petals immediately fell off the roses as I took the bouquet out of the box. I used the chat function on the FTD site to complain again about the lateness and now the freshness of the bouquet and their response was to refund me an additional 20% (NOTE: it took two complaints to get the total 30% discount, and as of this writing I do not yet see the discount / refund on my payment card so this is not over yet).
I am very disappointed at the outcome. This has happened in a previous experience (recent year) with FTD but I decided to give them another chance. I will not be ordering anything from them ever again.”
“Last time I'll order from this company. Just don't do it. Ordered the top tier bouquet of tulips and irises. Got a pathetic bouquet from them for mother's day. Complained and they refunded me back like 20 bucks which basically is the price for delivery. I get the whole substitution thing but this bouquet is basically a stem count.”
“Ordered flowers, candle and chocolates for my mother for Mother’s Day to be delivered the Saturday before. Flowers showed up three days late, it was a much less expensive arrangement then the one I paid for on FTD, and the candle and chocolates were missing. Spent $150 total for what was probably a $30 floral arrangement and again no flowers or chocolates showed up. I called them, they gave me a $50 refund, which means I still paid $100 for an arrangement that was definitely not the one I ordered. Very disappointed.”
“FTD was supposed to deliver a plant to my sister for her birthday on May 12. It never arrived. I had to go into a chat to find out that it was not going to be delivered on May 12 that it would be May 13. The plant was not delivered on May 13 and I had to go into a chat to find that out. They offered to deliver the plant on May 14. Nope. Her birthday was two days ago. I would’ve never known that her gift was not delivered if I had not contacted them. Never ever order flowers or a plant or anything from FTD. Worst customer service ever, worst delivery service ever!!!!”
“Received flowers three days late from my daughter. They look terrible some dead, received from Hyvee florist and I called them and they said FTD would have to handle and hung up. My daughter, who lives 10 hours away is trying to get an answer but on a loop with FTD. She spent $100 and I got a bouquet at Walmart for $5 that looks much better.”
“I ordered a flower for my best friend for Mother’s Day. The flower arrived on time and it was in great shape, but I was just disappointed because I have an add-on gift for that one and it was never included in the package. And they did even bother giving me a notification or what not. I was very excited for that add-gift along with the flower. Overall, the flower looks great, but it would have been better with the additional gift that I ordered that supposed to come with it.”

“I had flowers delivered on Saturday before Mother’s Day and the florist this company used just left the flowers outside never rung the doorbell and it was a basic arrangement. I called FTD back on Mother’s Day and I was supposed to get a redelivery but 2 days later no delivery was made. I had continue to call due to a language barrier and never got to speak to an American customer service representative.”
“The worst. Flowers sent that are 1/3 of the photo. Paid for mothers day delivery, couldn't deliver for 2 days after. Then explained my mom had a stroke after mothers day, just give me my money back, and they said nope we will deliver these to her house tomorrow....do you want us to change the address to the hospital???? FTD Charged my credit card..... never delivered. Took for ever to give me response WHY. Only found out after I called twice. Offered to deliver in the evening however was for a funeral, very disappointed.”

It was some holly looking mess that clearly got thrown together and then they offered a 20% refund. Late and wrong flowers but won’t give me my money back.
