I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had, interacting with any company, with Furdeco. This is what happened: - I ordered a bed from My Furniture specifically due to the fact that it was available immediately and was meant to have been delivered on Thursday 21st October, ahead of some elderly visitors coming to stay with us - Furdeco arranged a delivery slot for Thursday morning; I arranged to be at home all day on Thursday in order to receive the delivery - No-one showed up all day. By the afternoon, I was beginning to get worried, so I called Furdeco, who told me that delivery failed because a lady turned them away from the property. I told them that this was absurd as I was home all day and there was no lady at home. They then changed their story and said that someone talked to them through a doorbell camera and turned them away; once again this was absurd, because I do not even have a doorbell camera at my property. (I suspect that they attempted delivery at the wrong address, probably my neighbour's house, but rather than owning up to that, they repeatedly claimed that they attempted delivery at the correct address and implied that I was lying or mistaken). - Furdeco Customer Service then failed me appallingly time after time and effectively continued to lie to me. The earliest re-delivery they would arrange was 4 days later. Manny promised me he would escalate to a Manager and call me back before the end of the day on Thursday. He never called me back. I actually called back to speak to him on 2 more occasions on Thursday afternoon but was told "he's on a break, he'll call back". It never happened. I then spoke to another 'advisor' on Friday morning because Manny wasn't working; he promised to send me photo evidence of the delivery drivers visiting my property, which he never did. He also promised me a callback after speaking to a Manager, which never happened In summary: - I wasted a day of my life waiting at home for a delivery which never appeared - I ended up without a bed in time for my elderly guests and they will end up sleeping the entire duration of their visit on the floor - I've wasted hours on the phone to Furdecco with zero success - I've endured the stress and frustration of being lied to and being made false promises by this company's incompetence This is the first time I have dealt with this company and hopefully the last. I would seriously re-consider ordering anything from a retailer that uses this incompetent company as their delivery partner.

Awful experience. They delivered a bed from Oak Store, one part looked like it was wrong so i queried it. They they tried to get me to sign a paper that said i had refused for them to open the parcels and check damage - I had actually said yes to this. I said i would write what had happened on the sheet and sign so i crossed out the things that weren't correct and wrote that i was concerned one part was incorrect. As i was doing this the delivery driver came into my house and front room and snatched the paper from my hand. Then tried to get me to sign for delivery which i wouldn't do as it was wrong. Then i said i'd call the bed company and he said he'd call his manager, when i came out they had driven off! Very intimidating, any women alone make sure someone is with you for delivery. I have reported them to the bed company too.

Delivered items which had a considerable amount of packaging. We thought after removing packaging they would take it away as instructed by the company supplying the goods. Unbeknown to us packaging behind van which we only noticed after they drove off. We now had the job of breaking it all up and disposing of it. Sneaky behaviour would deter us from using in the future

I got an email on 1st September saying my sofas would be delivered on Saturday 4th September, myself and my family were all isolating as we had covid do I emailed them back to tell them this and got no reply so phoned them the following day and spoke to a polite man who said they would change delivery to Saturday 11th September so I got rid of my old sofas yesterday and sat in the house all day today on garden chairs and waited till 2pm and had heard nothing from them so decided to phone and see if they could give me a rough idea of when my delivery would be,the woman on the phone was rude and uninterested and told me my sofas were not scheduled to be delivered today,I explained that I had spoken to a man on the phone and he changed my delivery date to today as we had been isolating ,but no she said we wouldn’t be getting our delivery today and made out I was a liar and said our calls are recorded and we have no record of your call, told me she would get back to me soon with a new delivery date I asked when soon was and she would not answer me,she also said “we don’t deliver Saturdays”I said why did I get a Saturday date when you originally emailed me then?still wouldn’t answer,I’m not left with no sofa and no clue when I’m getting it and my husband is 72 years old and has health problems and no comfortable seat to sit on,absolutely disgraceful, total shambles of a company, thd manufactures need to stop using this company and hopefully it closes down cause there treated people with total disrespect

Appalling service, my partner has waited in all day for a collection that was supposed to have taken place by 2pm. On calling the office she was told that the driver had attempted to deliver, had called and even 'knocked'. This is a blatant lie as my partner had her 'phone with her all of the time and with the windows open in the small block of flats would have heard the van arrive. We will be detailing our complaint to the retailer concerned in the hopes that they will find better logistics partners.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Furdeco delivered me damaged furniture, an oak chest of drawers and 2 bedside cabinets, dumped it in my bedroom then left before I could check the delivery then forged my signature on the delivery note. I contacted the furniture company who arranged for Furdeco to collect the furniture a week later, 2 men turned one man attempted to carry an oak chest of drawers downstairs on his own, scuffing my landing and chipping paint of the wall. Then Left abruptly. I contacted Amardeep at Furdeco who called me a liar and told me the delivery driver picked the furniture up from outside my house as I wasn’t in. In all Furdeco damaged my furniture and then damaged my house to the tune of 200 quid then insulted me. DO NOT USE FURDECO

I received an email from them saying they’d be in touch to arrange a delivery slot. After several days and no call I had to phone them. Arranged a time and took time off work. Instead of a 7 am delivery I got a text saying the van had broken down and delivery was rescheduled for later in the week. A company with integrity would have hired another van ( if that excuse was true) A low integrity company to be avoided. Any trading company would be better off avoiding them for fear of damaging their own reputation by guilt by association.

Absolutely awful. I paid for an assembly service for my bed as part of the delivery. I had to spend over 5 minutes debating with them whether it would fit. I knew it would as we were replacing like for like size. And it did. Things just went further downhill from there. They originally had the bed base the wrong way round. I had to point this out. Due to COVID and the space available, I didn’t have the chance to check the bed properly until they left. They weren’t waiting to provide me the opportunity and I soon realised why. They didn’t fit the spacers required between the base and headboard. They didn’t attach the piston arms. They didn’t join the 2 base lids together. The only thing they seemed to do right was attach the castors to the base. On speaking to the company I purchased the bed from (Beds on Legs) they sent me another set of assembly parts as Furdeco must have taken them along with the bed wrappings. I then had to arrange for a handyman to take it apart and reassemble properly. And to add insult to injury when he took the mattress off, there were 2 dirty hand prints on the base lid. So much for the ‘white glove service’ they advertise! I called Furdeco to explain the problem and I emailed them. After no response within a week I emailed again. They then sent me an odd text about a delivery but still never responded to my emails. I called as I was confused what the delivery was about. I ended up going round in circles and getting no place. It was like banging my head against a brick wall. The last person I spoke to said they would look into it and I would get a response to my emails. Sadly, I have had nothing. Appalling service and the worse customer care I have come across in years. If you are buying something and Furdeco is the delivery company, think twice. I would not recommend it.

Rude customer service assistant. I missed 5 calls within a 47 min window, whilst working. I caught up with these calls and replied YES to the text to confirm delivery. The very rude individual that took my call said purely "well you missed the slot because you didn't respond in time and you will need to wait until we return to your area". When I clarified this time scale - I was brushed off and I enquired further, tomorrow a week a month, they said "might be next week." Absolutely no understanding, empathy or customer skills, with an abrupt tone. Please retrain this member of staff to talk kindly and appropriately and upskill them in good telephone manner. I don't appreciate being given a 'tough-luck' attitude. Completely unprofessional. I only hope when my goods arrive, there is no damage seeing the other views on this site from other customers.

The delivery was cancelled twice in 2 weeks due to "loading error". Both times it was because the "item is damaged". This time when I toldme them that I did not believe that it was, damaged twice, I was told that they never received the item. Before Christmas I was told it was in the warehouse and I was told on.the phone that I could pick it up myself if I wanted to or it would be delivered on 4/1/21. It is too far for me. Now they say I have to wait a week for it to get to their warehouse.

IAPPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE – AVOID THIS DELIVERY COMPANY!! I ordered 2 radiators via Screwfix to be delivered from Acova by Furdeco. I received a telephone call from a surly staff member who informed me of the date and time allocated for my order (6 days after the order was placed) I asked if it was possible to change the date as I would be at work and not at home. I was abruptly told that if I wanted to change the date the good would not be delivered till much later and possible not the same week. I agreed. I then received a text to confirm the date and time slot. I replied to confirm and received another text again confirming delivery date and time slot. No goods arrived. I tried to call Furdeco at the Tipton depot. I waited in a queue for 20 minutes only for my call to be terminated because it was 3 minutes passed the office finishing time. The Next morning I rang again. The “Customer Service” guy offered no explanation simply to say it was not in the warehouse. I asked why I had received 2 texts and a telephone call to confirm delivery when they didn’t have the goods. The guy did not reply. I also pointed out that according to the tracking system no date had been allocated for my delivery. Again he said that it was nothing to do with him and until the good arrived I would have to wait. I asked how long that “wait” would be and he said he didn’t know. As the person I was speaking to clearly couldn’t care less I asked to speak to someone who might be able to tell what had happened to my order. He then put me through to another extension that rang out and then disconnected me. I then contacted Screwfix to see if they could help. During the morning I had an e-mail from someone called Ryan who I presume worked for Furdeco but the e-mail did not make clear who he represented. Ryan said that there had been a loading error and they were trying to re-route the order and I might be able to have them delivered in a few days; though he was not certain. I decided that I could not wait and doubted that Furdeco ability to deliver these item without further problems and delays. I contacted Screwfix and received a refund. The contrast between the customer service offered by Screwfix and the complete lack of any at Furdeco was stark. Your Tipton staff needs urgent training as they are incapable of providing a competent service. The attitude and incompetence has resulted in Acova losing hundreds of pounds in sales and I will be telling friends and colleagues not to use Furdeco.

Avoid at all costs I have never had the misfortune to deal with such an unprofessional company. Not only was there no regard for the current COVID 19 climate (no masks or gloves worn) but the delivery drivers have also caused damage to my property. After calling the company to come to a resolution it clear that customer service is not their strong suit or even on their agenda. I have sent 7 complaint emails over the last 19 days and not even so much as recieved an acknowledgement. Appalled would be the polite description for this bunch of cowboys. I hope no one else has to face what we are going through, especially knowing the insult that we have paid for a 'service' (if you can call it that!) that has resulted in damage.

They came to collect a dining room suite that had to be returned and turned up with a van full of furniture. Complained legs were not removed from table but even if they were there wasnt room on already full van. Left without taking items. Why on earth turn up at 7.40 am with a van full of deliveries. What did they think they were collecting? Dolls house furniture?

Don’t use this delivery company, they are awful. They delivered a sofa which we ordered through a sofa company, it took them half an hour to get it into the house as they first started complaining that it was too heavy even though they were the ones that loaded it into the van in the first place. They wanted us to sign a disclaimer saying that if they damage the sofa bringing it into the house that they air not deemed liable as the sofa was “too heavy for them” I refused to sign this because I am not paying for their damage. The manager then called me to speak about how they would get the sofa into the house because the 2 men had told their manager that the access into the property was restricted and we should have made them aware of this, that was a ridiculous excuse a we have large double gates to the garden and patio doors that were both open into the property. There is no way that anybody else would struggle getting this in the house. The manager said they were going to need to take to sofa out of the box to get it into the house because of it being too big to fit into the property even though you could have fit a box double the size through into the house, we said no they either take it back and come back with someone else to help them or get it into the house in the box and unpack it in the property as they said it could get damaged bringing it in due to its weight. They didn’t listen to my instructions at all they took it out the box and brought it in unprotected and said their manager told them to at this point we had given up and if they damage it they are then held responsible as I didn’t sign to say they were exempt from liability. Luckily they didn’t damage the sofa but I am not happy at all with their service and will make sure they never deliver to us again. Also they didn’t have a Face mask or any kind of PPE to wear but we needed the sofa so we had to let them in even though I felt like they put us at risk.
