“Delivery was great came on time product (hdmi cable) I'm unsure on as I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the handshake with my gpu at 144hrz 4k the text is all messed up and no matter what I do it won't become clear but is fine at 120hrz 4k using my old cable from ugreen has no issue and works fine at 144hrz 4k texture is crisp and clear so I've moved to using it as pure audio cable in the earc to soundbar instead was contemplating returning but don't want to go through the hassle. Honestly I don't know if I would buy another product (audio quest) cable again i can't be positive it is actually built to spec and can't in good faith endorse the product to others. Maybe I have a faulty one I don't know but it's fine for my soundbar so itl do”

If you want to give it another try, I’d suggest: - Checking your GPU and monitor support for 4K at 144Hz and ensuring the HDMI version aligns (HDMI 2.0/2.1 as applicable). - Testing with a different high-speed cable known to handle 4K/144Hz reliably. - Trying the cable at 120Hz 4K as a baseline to confirm it’s stable before reattempting 144Hz. “Having recently invested in a new Cyrus 40 amp, I was slightly surprised that in some respects, the sound had taken a backwards step. I found myself skipping tracks and enjoying music much less than usual. The amp was a definite upgrade from my old Audiolab from the 1980s, and some tracks sounded great, but the vocals on music from London Grammar for example, sounded flat where as I was expecting a huge improvement. Given the restrictions of being a new parent and having read so much about the Chord Companies cables, I decided to invest blindly based on reading some reivews on FutureShop's website for the Epic X speaker cables. I was surprised at how different my setup sounded, it has transformed the output from the Cyrus amp from 'what is all the fuss about' to, wow, now I understand what all the fuss is about! Admittedly, I have gone from speaker cables I purchased years ago as a graduate trainee when money was tight to something more fitting of the amplifier I am now using, but what has surprised me so much is the transformation of the sound, unlocking the capabilities of the Cyrus that previously sounded dull. As others have commented, the vocals are the stand out change, but treble and bass are also vastly improved. While listening to a Lenny Kravitz album from 1993, I started to notice his breathing between words, the separation of the guitars and other instruments, just so much more space within the soundage. As the magazines state, cables don't improve the sound of your equipment, they just unlock what is already there. In my experience, these cables release the ability of my current system to such an extent, that I view these speaker cables as the best investment i've made to improve my listening experience. If you're not sure it's worth it, buy the cables, you won't be disappointed. As to FutureShop, I had made a mistake on my order form and Steve reached out, sorted me out and got the order to me ASAP. Great service that i'd definitely recommend.”
