Dispatch delay was so long I tried to cancel but they had no phone, no chat service, only a email ticket for complaints. Ticket received an automated email blaming Covid which also said they were 5 times busier than 2019 but still taking orders. Got dispatch email, checked tracking, Hermes said they had not received package. It finally arrived and 3 of 10 tubers were wrinkled and broken and 4 gladioli bulbs were rotten. Planted rest of tubers and bulbs but don’t expect much as they are too late. Poor service, poor quality, no customer service, lies and excuses, never again.

Ordered £85 worth of plants 18th April. Nearly six weeks on order still at processing stage. No option to cancel order. No response to tickets raised. Took money day of order. Do not use this company.

I will be not using this company again. Over six weeks waiting and today my trees were delivered in atrocious condition, half my order missing too. Absolutely appalling customer service.

I placed an order on 17 April, and am still waiting for my order! I have tried to contact them via their ticket support, but as yet no direct response!! My order came to £69, which they took straight away. Terrible customer service, I shall not be placing anymore orders that’s for sure!!!

Now waiting 7 weeks for delivery of spring flowering Clematis.😱. I have been verynpatient as they asked on their website., but they've had my money, no contact what so ever, very disappointed to say the least.

Ordered 2 trees 11th April, money taken straight away. Been waiting weeks and weeks for delivery and had no communication or response from Gardening Express to my emails or raised tickets on their website. Received my order today (27th May) and both trees are in an appalling state! Hardly any leaves on them and the leaves they do have are full of disease and have also been eaten away by pests. Absolutely disgusted with Gardening Express, first and last time I use them! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Omg just read all these reviews I've paid £19 for a lavetera on the 8th May just one plant it's showing as processing not even out for pick and pack....the summer in Yorkshire will be over before its sent out...express it definitely is not....I'm furious wishing I'd read reviews

Over 7 weeks now since I placed my order and still not received it. I was stupid enough to put in an additional order 2 weeks later and of course that hasn’t arrived either. Terrible customer service. I am so cross and will never order from them again.

Long long wait but eventually recieved communication.plants arrived today and are beautiful and healthy. Worth the wait. Slight damage due to courier turning boxes upside down but nothing that some freshair and tlc wont mend.

Purchased shrubs for a flower bed on the 11/04/20 but as of the time of writing (27/05/20)I still haven't received anything. Support tickets are falling on deaf ears, Facebook posts ignored, no contact information for the business. In the end I have had my bank issue a refund who will now start the recovery process. Shame really as they had such a good business which has been ranked by poor communication & greed. I won't shop from them again and will be supporting my local centre's

Ordered plants waited well over a month (due to the current situation) Arrived squashed and in a dreadful state. It was impossible to contact them even though they are an online company.Sent details & photos to them and still waiting to hear from them. However, did get an email asking for a rating. All automated. Would not recommend you buy from them. Service completely non existing.

Terrible company. No order. No refund.. Two months on and £50 lighter with nothing to show for it. Won't answer emails.. So this is all I can do. AVOID LIKE COVID.

Order initially placed 5/4/20 and money taken immediately. Plants eventually delivered 28/4/20 and were mostly dead. They had initially removed the function to be able to contact customer service, this has since been reinstalled but I am still awaiting a reply from 2/5/20. Incredibly disappointing quality and service. It would appear that comments left on their social media page which raise concerns such as mine are deleted or the user is blocked. I appreciate it is an incredibly difficult time for all businesses at the moment, but others have sensibly halted orders while they catch up on delivery and customer service queries.

I placed order on 10th april no plants and no answer to email standard reply 2 to 4 weeks delivery its know 6 weeks my email has not even been read but my money has gone into their account I think we need to speak to trading standards

Have waited 7 weeks for delivery. Have contacted them twice to cancel but they are not answering saying that they are too busy fulfilling orders (or not). They do not seem to realise that a business is more than just fulfilling orders and that 2 way customer contact is an essential part. They may realise next year when Covid has gone away and there are thousands of angry customers not wanting to order from them again.

So. Same old by the sounds of it! Money taken on 20th April out of my bank account. My order was placed in good faith that even with delays the plants might arrive within as below copied and pasted off their website. You'll love your plants! If for whatever reason you are not totally happy with your plants please return them within 14 days for a full refund. -It's as simple as that. Dispatch during these unprecedented times is currently delayed and may vary between 2-4 weeks. However, despite me raising several ticket enquiries, as I am unable as everyone else has stated to contact them by phone, I have had NO correspondence whatsoever! I am £129 down since over a month ago, and today I also have contacted my bank to raise a dispute for me. I would not recommend this company at all, and I do believe that they are very misleading with their promises and advertising! Please don't say my order is being "processed" from day one on 20/04/20 when you fail to contact me by 26/05/20

After waiting 8 weeks to receive my order, when it finally arrived there was a plant missing. I emailed them on many occasions to find out where the missing plant was and when I could expect to receive it. Yesterday I finally received a response which told me that the plant was definitely in the delivery and to check the package again, I think I would have noticed the large bamboo plant I ordered if it had been included in the delivery. They have basically accused me of lying. I don't know that I'll ever receive my plant let alone some form of refund. All I can say is avoid this company. They are happily taking peoples money knowing that they are unable to fulfill orders.
