“I had been with Admiral for 3 years and I was disappointed.
Even though as a experienced driver of over 10 years, I accepted a black box insurance so I could have a cheaper rate as the other rates I was being quoted was extortionate.
When it came to my renewal even though I had a near on perfect score everytime I got my weekly feedback, they tried bumping my car insurance up by an extra £23.69 PCM which is utterly ridiculous and that's why I changed car insurance.
There is no loyalty and why boost premiums when they should go down? Especially after 8 years NO claims and the only mark down I got on my driving score was what time I drive. I take my kids to and from school which I stated when I took on the car insurance.

I spent literally hours trying to reach the correct department as followed on their menu system
, only to be told having waited 40 minutes that it was a different section so waited a further 30 minutes And the phone just cut off SO fustrating. They have NOT settled my claim which was derisory in the first instant AVOID THIS COMPANY. how they remain in business is a real mystery.”

They make you to take out all the policies and covers, so you are under the impression that you are fully protected. However, when you ask for something that you’re entitled to, they don’t give it to you and are extremely unhelpful.
I hope the CEO Milena Mondini de Focatiis improves this company’s customer care services.”

“To everyone who reads this please do not insure your home insurance with this company the price was ok but the customer service and the way they dealt with my claim and took a year was disgraceful especially the chap that came around to see the damage it's like he didn't have a clew of th work and had a chip on his shoulder and he had no customer service skills honestly I was shocked and when I told the guy that was dealing with it he wasn't realy bothered and made out As if I'm making something up I wouldn't recommend this company at all....”
“What a truly vile company this is. Prior to my home insurance auto renewing on 6 Nov 2021 I wrote to Admiral requesting they substitute one expensive item for another of the same value, after a month I received no acknowledgment or documents. I then wrote to the UK Managing Director Christina Nestares, not unexpectedly I didn't get the cutesy of a reply from her either. The documents eventually arrived after Christmas together with a demand for a further £25 for making the substitution - I immediately rang them and spoke to a charming young lady who removed the item in question and cancelled the additional charge together with the auto renew for next year as I obviously won't be using this disgraceful cowboy outfit again.”
“Rip Off - Worst insurance company ever. We have a comprehensive policy & someone crashed into our car while we where parked. Its been 19 days and Admiral have not bothered to organise repair or a courtesy car, they dont reply to emails or calls. Never use them or Elephant / Bell etc all their other trading names. Aweful company - will be reporting them to Insurance Ombudsman.”
