“What a truly vile company this is. Prior to my home insurance auto renewing on 6 Nov 2021 I wrote to Admiral requesting they substitute one expensive item for another of the same value, after a month I received no acknowledgment or documents. I then wrote to the UK Managing Director Christina Nestares, not unexpectedly I didn't get the cutesy of a reply from her either. The documents eventually arrived after Christmas together with a demand for a further £25 for making the substitution - I immediately rang them and spoke to a charming young lady who removed the item in question and cancelled the additional charge together with the auto renew for next year as I obviously won't be using this disgraceful cowboy outfit again.”
“Rip Off - Worst insurance company ever. We have a comprehensive policy & someone crashed into our car while we where parked. Its been 19 days and Admiral have not bothered to organise repair or a courtesy car, they dont reply to emails or calls. Never use them or Elephant / Bell etc all their other trading names. Aweful company - will be reporting them to Insurance Ombudsman.”
“disgusting that they add an automatic renewal to your policy without your knowledge or agreement and then make it very difficult to cancel the renewal, you end up on the telephone to them for 45 minutes trying to stop a renewal that you did not want in the first place!!!”

“Still waiting for car to be inspected after 5 months! They claim to require a police report before they can handle the claim, stating that 'in the majority of cases we require a police report, which can take some time to arrive and we may decide to repudiate liability under the terms of the policy if the police decide to prosecute'. They continue by stating that they are unable to identify the precise Condition of the policy upon which they will repudiate!! A complaint to their C.E.O. has simply been referred back to the original handlers! Utter imcompetence! Avoid like the plague.”

“Avoid! Had accident a week ago, still waiting for courtesy car. I have added this option because I need a car for work. Poor customer service. Spend how many hours on the phone, they don't even bother to call back.”
“Don't bother with this insurer. After storm Arwen, we claimed for house damage. We waited over 10 days post claim submission, just to see the assessor. We've been unable to speak with the assessor as they don't answer their phone, have had no communication from them and Admiral themselves, have been unable to provide us with any other information, other than for some conversations to suggest we get additional quotes and others to say we don't need to as the assessors will fix things. When the assessor did finally come out, they've said that virtually none of our damage is storm damage! This is despite us now having a front door which pours water through it with a northerly wind now, which the assessor says can't be happening as the seals are intact - they would they like to explain why the front of our house is wet every time it rains then! Total shambles from the beginning, with appalling customer care and communication and a totally insulting, belittling and dismissive response from the assessor that has left me feeling physically sick. What's the point in paying my insurance premiums?”
“I was hit by an uninsured driver 12th November 2020.....still waiting for the Injuries claim to be settled after having everything closed off months ago. It took a Supervisor 5 weeks to sign a report!!!
Now waiting 2 weeks for an assessor to take the Company van for repair.”
“I cancelled my car insurance policy today because I had to sell my car . I got charged £55 for doing this . After having paid my years insurance in full three months ago and having been a loyal customer for years , there is no justification for this fee . Makes me feel robbed . Disgusted .”
“My policy ended on 20.08.2021 and I called admin to inform that I sold my car the same day. After about two months I got email and it says I have to pay an outstanding balance because and my policy was cancelled on 11/09/2021. I really don't know what's going on. I've been driving for 24 years and I never been treated like admin did. avoid this company”
“Awful customer service. If you make a change to your policy they will leave you high and dry, cut your policy and hang up leaving you on your own with no insurance. They will also take a fee for the insult before you get a chance to discuss.
Avoid them - might seem cheap but wont help you out when you need the service you have paid for.”
