“This was the best value policy that met my needs (someone other than the policyholder to be the main driver). Taking out the insurance was a user-friendly experience. All of the documentation was supplied by email, and was very clear. Fortunately (from my perspective), I haven't had to make any claims, so I'm unable to comment on how efficiently AXA handle claims.”

“Generally I am satisfied, but there is a real big problem. I cannot insure my daughter as a temporary driver because she's not resident in the UK. My daughter lives abroad and comes over only occasionally but she needs to drive my car. I'll probably change insurance company because of this.”

“All in all Axa are very good but as an internet based company which wasn't stated when placed my policy for my vechine with them, I had to ring them by phone for my documentation only to b told that they don't normally do this as the documents can b printed from my online account as they are an Internet company. Have ing said that when I moved house and rang to change my details the lady on the phone said that it would cheaper for to do it myself as they would charge me a £35 handling fee if they did it, so she talked me through it and me and my partner changed my details online. All in all for my first year of having car insurance I would say that they are not a bad company to go with.”

“Despite removing the only authorised repair company , who was relatively local , on their original list they understood that my lease purchase from Mercedes required me to use an Mercedes approved repairer and allowed me to use a reputable local mercedes repairer .”

“I will not be renewing with AXA , Last year the renewal notice arrived by email so late that I had already purchased a new policy from AXA at a cheaper rate than the renewal that I eventually received. They then proceeded to collect payment from my account for both policies. After numerous emails I eventually had one refunded but was unable to print out the policy documents for the new policy as it would only allow me to print out the one that I cancelled. Almost a year later I still am unable to print off the documents that I had paid for. I would not recommend AXA.”

“Easy to comprehend and compare what you get with Axa and other comparable Insurers, on-line. Form filling good as long as you have all the information at hand pertaining to insuring your car. Wanted to see evidence of no claims, if applicable, but this was on previous documentation of past provider so not complicated and they acknowledged this by return e-mail. I would recommend Axa as an insurer.”
