“Not q smart choices”

“Absolut Nightmare of a company, when I tried to exchange an international licence for the newly exchanged UK licence, they increased my monthly rate by almost £100. It was like we had just passed the test not done an exchange. Whan I asked why, the response was "that is how insurance works". Stay far away!”

“Last year's cover £61.27 this year's £88.52. Been a customer over 20years never made a claim and had to pay extra £27.25 this year, not happy and will be checking out other insurance companies next year.Approx over 30% increase not on.”

“I recieved another years no claim bonus and my premiums went up from £60per month to £100 per month! Not really a bonus to have no claims anymore!”

“A £25 charge to change my payment method is a swindle. I think that's disgusting and reflects the attitude of insurance companies to their customers. I won't insure with them again even if they are the cheapest.”

“Despite refusing automatic renewal, you went ahead and renewed my van Policy, depriving me of nearly £900 and I am still waiting for a refund, due to your obsession with AI and I wouldn't recommend Budget to my worst enemy!!!!! To make matters worse I don't even own the van anymore, which DVLA will verify.”

“I'm not happy with the service I got at budget and I won't recommend it to anyone. I lodged a claim and Firstly the communication was bad, I have to always be the one doing follow ups, they don't bother giving any updates until I call to ask. Secondly they took me from pillar to post when they have to repair my car, they send me list of panel beaters to check if they can help me or get my own panelbeaters of my choice, when bringing the quotation they complain, in short they just happy to take our money but when they have to repair/pay, you will be taken up and down. They don't care about their customers and not even afraid to loose a customer”

“Still waiting for my vehicle to be repaired for almost 2 weeks now & i waited 11 months for a window replacment that i ended up having to pay out of my own pocket privatly because you failed to sort it,will be my last year with you.”

“Very unhelpful when I wanted to change vehicle 4 months through policy. Lots of miss advice given! Staff training needs to be given! They told me the company they insured me with wouldn’t insure the new vehicle didn’t give reason just said I had to cancel policy with a £45 cancellation fees. Then take out another policy for 12 months which was over £300 found another company that had more on its policy for £186. Told cancellation fee would now be £45 plus £21 money outstanding on policy, received an email 4 days after cancellation with outstanding balance £66 said if not paid within 7 days it would be passed on to the dept collectors. Phoned today to pay and now told the outstanding charge is £105. The original insurance for the year was around £170. I’ve already paid £84 for 4 months + now the £105 cost more for the 4 months than a full year! Do not use this company if you are thinking of changing your car mid way through the year! Wish I had stayed with HALIFAX insurance who have been amazing! Lesson learned don’t go with an insurance company to save an initial £20 cheaper on renewal! Worst experience and now £105 less in my bank account!!! I was told by Yasmin customer service she would have to listen through the other callers telephone calls to see if I was lying about the information I was given amount the amount I owed. Will never use this company again worst experience ever received!!! 😡”

“We will never use Budget again. After offering my own car insurance to the worker, he said that he did not need it and proceeded to charge me over $250 for their insurance. Our car was filthy, sticky, and smelled. We paid over twice as much as everyone else who rented a car on our family vacation. When we called to complain afterwards we had to call several times before talking to anyone about our concerns.”

“On 2 May 2024 I phoned Budget Vap warranty department to cancel my warranty the guy who assisted me was so rude, the call was cut off before we finished the conversation and he never bothered to call back to complete he went straight to sending a cancellation letter, so bloody rude”

“Cancelled my insurance with no notice which is illegal I have been pulled over for no insurance when I am meant to be insured with you you have taken payment but cancelled my insurance with no notice or reason looking at 6 points and a fine because of your company error expect the biggest lawsuit your company will ever face please no one use this company they are also being investigated for fraud as they took payment for the insurance and cancellation with no warning or reason Again PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF ALL THIS AND USE A DIFFRENT COMPANY THEY WONT BE AROUND FOR MUCH LONGER”
