Had to ring and ask why a large increase on my insurance.only then was it dealt with???

We have been waiting for 8 months for 3rd party claim. Not once have we missed a payment.We've already send all our documents. Every time i've spoken to an agent there is something else that we need to send. This is really bad service. Access fees has been paid last year already. We send the documents so many times, but theres always something else they need from us. This morning i phoned them again and its the same story. And I'm a pensioner, I can't do it or take it anymore. So many times I asked them to speak to a director or ceo but they dont want to give me any contactnr. Please if anyone anyone can help me. I really need your help. It's been 8 month and we still waiting.

Seemed ok until you want to claim. House burgled car keys stolen and therefore the car. After protecting no ncd for years and not needing it typically this year I didn’t. This I’m told makes it a fault claim even though the car was stolen. I had 17 years no claims but they are dropping me down to 3 years that’s a 14 year loss. Budget say they don’t recognise anything more than 9 years but even if you agree with this that’s a loss of 6 yrs when the Industry standard is 2 years. Also Budget would not cover anything inside the car unless I could prove it was in the car when stolen. Unless I photo the inside of my car every night how can I do that ? The “current value” payout for the theft will not cover purchasing an equivalent vehicle, and it’s cost more than £100 to switch the car stated on the insurance so the insurance is not worth it. Customer service have taken a month of me phoning and email to pay out, saying they will act but they don’t until I ring again then pass it on to someone else. They say I can complain but “nothing will change so you might as well close the case”. So much for customer service. Budget do not treat customers fairly.

Totally Incompetent company, the clue Is In the name BUDGET (Cheap) they do all they can to penalise you through no fault of your own, You only have to look at their horrendous negative reviews on the Internet to tell you all you need to know that they are to be avoided, go with a well known named company for £20 more rather than these clowns !! Disgraceful company

Had a difficult circumstance after being affected by the Covid pandemic. Missed a payment, they cancelled my policy and then they sent me a bill for a cancellation charge which was almost as much as my annual premium. Then I told them I couldn’t pay in one go, so arranged a payment plan. They ignored the fact that they had set me up on a payment plan and decided to keep chasing me for the money in full and sent it to a debt collection agency. Very very unhelpful when I’m in a difficult circumstance. Thanks for nothing Budget insurance - will never use your services again and wouldn’t recommend to friends and family.

Stay very clear I’ve been with them for over a year had problems with them right at the beginning so this came up for renewal this year on the 25th of November sent another email saying after all the problems at the beginning of my policy I would never go with you again and I’m now with a new company that starts today lo and behold they’ve sent me an email thanking me for renewing with them luckily they haven’t taken any money yet and I’m putting a block on the card that I used first thing in the morning this company is just a bunch of con artist

Keep clear from this cowboys,I have to cancel my policy within 24h as my NCB proof later dated on25.11.2021 is to old for this firm. They have charged cancellation,without moving the vehicle (will take few working days to refund the anual premium taken from my account within seconds.Do not recommend

Today my husband cancelled his motor insurance after selling his van on. The cancellation charge was £60 which amounted to 60% of the refunded amount. It was explained that this was a charge to cover admin costs - WHAT!! Surely in today's technology informing third party agencies that the insurance has been cancelled is just the touch of a computer button. Extortionate charges. Surely £25/£30 would have been more appropriate.

This policy was automatically renewed we were unable to sort it at the time due to I'll health. The policy is over triple price of other companies. The policy holder is 89. This would not be this companies best price quoted for a new customer.

I was hammered with a £20 charge on the renewal day as inadvertently the card I had used the previous year had expired, so when the renewal payment was tried to be taken it was declined. I immediately contacted them when I received there email and explained trying to waive the fee but they are having none of it! I then threatened to leave after one if there incompetent call takers didn’t take the full payment and I had to ring back again and was threatened with a £35 charge! Cheap is cheap for a reason I do so hope I never have to claim!

Shame there isn’t a zero option for stars. 1 hour 45 mins (screenshot added as attachment to evidence) wait first time until I abandoned. 20 mins second time. The difference between 6 weeks of cancelling policy £100 with no excuse for why there is such a differential. Given it was only a £220 policy this amazed me. First caller out £100 refund quote on file and operator could see it. I couldn’t imagine actually having to deal with an insurance claim and would never use budget insurance again. The worst insurance company ever. Please allow zeros trust pilot as one star is too kind.

I have my home and contents insurance with them. They are consistently more expensive that other insurers and take advantage of existing customers by not giving them the best deal
