“This is the 3rd time of using Budget insurance and we haven't had any bad experience. The price was very reasonable and the renewal was easy and hassle free. I would recommend them.”

“I was sent my renewal which had gone up a lot. When I queried it they reduced it dramatically! How does that work? My husband had the same issue but they wouldn't reduce it. He went onto a comparison site and got it £150 cheaper using the same insurer. Not great for a broker who's meant to get you the best deal!!!”

“got quote over phone £197,THEN I CHECKED MY CREDIT CARD AND WAS CHARGED £220,ALSO STOPPED MY ATOU RENEWAL LAST YEAR AND THEY DID NOT CANCELL,DREADFUL EXPERIENCE ,DEF WOULD NOT USE AGAIN,SAID THEY WOULD GET BACK TO ME AFTER THEY CHECKED PHONE CONVERSATION STILL WAITING”

“where do I begin, I paid for my insurance on my credit card, which Budget then said i’d not paid and charged me an unpaid card fee. So i contacted my credit card company who said that the payment had gone through. Budget insurance were threatening to cancel my insurance so I paid the full amount on my debit card, I had to claim the payment back from my credit card as there was nothing wrong with it, in the mean time Budget have refunded me a part of the policy as they had an error and are waiting to recharge me. I just feel that they don’t have a clue what they are doing, and the customer is paying the price for their mistakes.”

“I have used Budget for about 5 Years now speaking to the Reps in Peterborough, however this last year the Rep was in South Africa, I was disappointed that this had happened although the service I received was as good as I had experienced in the past, I hope this continues and doesn't go downhill, we will wait and see”

“I've been with Budget now, for several years, insuring a 19yr old van. Each year I do an online quote request. Each year I get a renewal notice from Budget. This year, 2024, the cheapest online quotes were over £100 more than Budget in 2023. I expected Budget renewal to be similar.......it was 66p more than 2023....! Happy days, well done Budget.”

“Some customers are not English speaking. Please get sales consultants that can speak languages that one can understand. We are not all English speaking. Claims are being rejected merely because of a language barrier…even when a customer is struggling to answer questions, there’s no assistance whatsoever…disappointing to have claims rejected, and you can hear clearly that the customer is struggling to answer what is asked.”
