Terrible - avoid Low priced insurance but no customer service and forever have to chase them!! My car was hit and was recorded on cctv but after several weeks of trying to get an update am told the other party has denied doing it so case closed- HOW?? This is rediculas , how much evidence do you need !! Happy to take my money but not happy to help me

terrible experience. Crash on Monday @ 7am, couldn't log the claim, because their systems were down until 12:30. Was told the garage woudl be in contact to organise the repair in the next 48 hours! 24 hours later I phoned churchill to be told to contact the garage. They said they sent me a link to submit photos of the damage, they hadn't. over the next 3 days I chased churchill, for an update. Friday morning I'm told the engineer has been assigned to my case and will review in the next 3-5 working days. So potentially 2 weeks without a car when I have paid the extra for a courtesy car. My car is still sat on the drive. Will be pulling out asap

Horrible customer service, retention agent lied about putting me through to the manager and put me through to the person next to him. Premiums are high and not worth it, better off going to a different company.

Home Emergency cover is a rip off. Nothing happened and nobody contacted me. Phoned 3 times about my plumbing emergency and nothing happened. Pathetic service and a waste of money. Beware!

Last payment of my policy bounced whilst I was away. I didn't realise, they didn't call me to chase the issue or even notify me. A couple weeks after the payment date they cancel my policy without any notice, I phoned them for a renewal quote unaware of the issue and they told me it was cancelled, nice. Way too old school won't even send me NCB by email either now.

Car jamming seems to be the new way to rob your car! Should be covered by your insurance! Churchill say no as I have no way of proving contents of car! Even though I have crime number ,and police in my area state it's a real problem!! So in your hour of need !! Churchill is no help insurance pointless!!!

They just want your money as soon as they take money from you they do not care about you ! “ SCAM “ Remember what ever they say to you all lie and mess nothing right ! One saying one things other saying other things ! Claim , customer care , renew , recovery , policy all you have to go through still full company don’t know what they are doing ! Full of useless people work with this company . They are just scam you to make money giveing you wrong advice and play game ! They make mistake and try to you to suffer actually with my exparice what I realise this is how they make money with scam , when you make complain they close the Complin with 100 pound Compensation with out resolving the issue close the Complint to make sure ombudsman or FCA can not see it ! True is you only can close the Complint when you resolved the issue full team , customer care , recocavery , claim , renew ,complaint , and others don’t know what they doing what should do ! Just lie and lie waste your time ! Also when is come to stright point they put the phone down . When you request manager or company director attention they don’t even exist !!! Befoyre you buy the insurance from them please read this and decide what you like to do .

After the accident I did not even get the minimum price for my car which was in very good condition explaining that the car was not worth much despite the full service documentation and the second quote was made by colleague instead of an independent expert

Horrendous. My sister in law was the victim of an accident - the other car being on the wrong side of the road. 10 weeks later and they have not acted on behalf of the paying customer at all. The other side 'haven't determined who was at fault'. This is clear from the pictures. We drive on the left, if someone is on the right hand side of the road they are clearly blatantly at fault! But no. Churchill do not push for a result and do not communicate; Churchill condescend to any form of questioning or grievance of poor treatment; Churchill take your money and do nothing. A courtesy car given for 2 weeks only. No information offered. No help given. A family of 5 left without transport and loss of earnings as a result. Absolutely disgusting treatment. No care whatsoever for customers.

In regards to aftercase and claim handling, this insurance company really dropped the ball. Everytime I called for an update I felt as though I was managing the claim myself. Actions were only taken when I prompted. This is one of the main reasons why I have since cancelled my insurance. I wouldn't go with this company even if they were the cheapest quote offered.

I have been insured with Churchill for over 3 years, I also have a second car with insurance by them. My car blew up in May so had to take it off the road, contacted Churchill to tell them and they mentioned nothing about owing money. Purchased a new car this week and called in to add my car on the policy but was told I was in £97 arrears from the old car, explained not been told but they would not renew my insurance until I cleared it even though I explained I get paid on the 29th and would clear it. Due to needing the car I have gone with another insurance company and I need to produce my no claims, rang up Churchill to say I was going into a payment arrangement with Moorcroft for the arrears and could they send me a copy of my no claims, but they are refusing to do this until its cleared, so basically they are holding any proof of my no claims while I still have another car insured with them which is not in arrears. I will not be renewing my policy with this company ever again. They are rude and not helpful in the slightest.

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE RECEIVED CAR INSURANCE DOCUMENTS IN MY NAME,ADDRESS, PAYMENT REQUEST ETC... I DON'T OWE A CAR,NEITHER DO I DRIVE. INFORMED THE POLICE AND FRAUD SQUAD.

Appalling company - spent hours on the phone trying to sort out a no fault claim - the other person's insurance company had already said they'd pay out - I wish I had taken them up on their offer. I will never get insurance with this company again.

I Got a quote for my wife 10 days before the insurance on her car was due with another company l got a price on Churchills website after getting a reasonable quote l phoned and spoke to a lady who ran through everything with me and confirmed the price was correct and she then gave me a ref number and said quote this number when my wife phoned and she gave the number there was nothing listed after 12 minutes on a NONE free phone number and not getting anywhere and paying them for the privilege of getting no where we decided to forget Churchills insurance quote if they can't find your quote when they want your business what will they be like for a claim FORGET CHURCHILLS AND GO TO LV FOR REALLY COMPETITIVE PRICE WHEN WELL CALLED LV IT WAS DEFINITELY HO YES MR D. After several calls & emails over last 2 wks still no answers on my concern after having insurance yrs ago with them & posting on data base had led to my son having to pay £200 extra as no email or letter arrived to send to his insurance company after putting me as named driver ! All sucks

Fine until you need to make a claim. We needed to make a household (home and contents) claim following an escape of water. The property was left untouched for nearly three months while everything went mouldy, and then the company fought every since penny of the claim claiming they weren't responsible for so much. Communication from them has been terrible- refusing to answer our questions, while bombarding us with questions of their own, and some of the third parties they use are downright rude. Fortunately- against their advice- we removed all our valuable and sentimental items the day of the claim. If we hadn't done so, everything we treasured would have been lost to their negligence. They have admitted they many mistakes were made on our claim, involving crazy amount of time and hassle for us in sorting this out, but haven't offered a penny in compensation for this.

Had policy since November and still not received documents. My car was hit and Churchill are REFUSING to acknowledge the accident details and IGNORING ALL CORRESPONDENCES. Live chat is even useless. 1st person even tried to say I was not insured at all. (Fraud) ? Taking money and not opening policy. ? Solicitor and Ombudsman noe involved. Stay away from them.

They cancelled my policy out of no where because I hadn’t given proof of no claims discount, even though they could have easily got it off the database or asked my old insurer. I had no letters to warn me or tell me they were cancelling, I only noticed when I checked my bank account and had a refund off them. They could have got me 6 points and a fine for driving with no insurance but failed to tell me they had cancelled my policy. I asked why they didn’t phone or email as well to tell me and they said they only communicate through post. Sorry didn’t realise we still lived in the 50’s and that letters never get lost or even never get sent. Called up and they requoted me £1000 more than the original policy. The girl on the phone said it’s not that much more, which was out of order. I complained at 8am when they first opened to then get one call back at 11, which I just missed but couldn’t call back. Absolutely rubbish customer service and dangerous company to deal with when they cancel policy’s with no communication and then charge £1000 more to insure you. What a money making con. I will be reporting them to the financial ombudsman and watch dog. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!
