Just renew my policy no fuss quite simple to do on line a little increase in cost .seeing I'm 84 and now do very low mileage.

I had to telephone 3 times each time cut off and no call back from you, each time non of your operatives had put any information on the system, 2 days later ok.?.

By renewing my policy at a cheaper rate after i told then to cancel it because it was to expensive and i had found a more competitive alternative. Now then, how did they manage that after i told them to sling their hook?mmmmm

The initial contact was extremely good. An appointment for an inspector was made and carried out on time. The inspector validated my claim 100%. Unfortunately, everything went down hill from then on. I contacted Renew only to discover my claim was with their validation department and I would be contacted within the next couple of days. Still waiting for my claim to be settled after 10 days.

I have Dial Direct for my Home Contents insurance and am very happy as I have renewed for a further year with them. I would have moved my car insurance to them as well as they were competitive with another firm I was considering. I was unable to complete that transaction as, due to already having a product with Dial Direct I did not qualify for their introductory offer on car insurance. Now that smacks of discrimination to me! So it is likely I will be saying cheerio to a company that I was happy with simply because of their ridiculous three F’s policy. Shame really however there are many other insurance companies who are eager for business. So Dial Direct has lost a customer, I’ll not renew with them next year nor will I consider them in future. Unless they change their ways.

If you are renewing an existing policy and there are no changes, you should not have to telephone the call centre and wait for 15 minutes. This is 2021 and should be possible to do it online. Pull your socks up Dial Direct!

At first price was good but after renewing pice inflation went up too high won’t be renewing again

A good company to insure with, only problem is when it's time to renew, they always inflate prices with only the 'new customer' able to get bigger discounts.

Find them to be good but I have had an experience which was not great. Mid last year I put a second driver on my insurance as I needed his help for a short time. In September 2020 I phone and asked that he be taken off. I was told that it would be done but I would have one premium to pain and then the insurance would reduce. However, 2 months later it had not charged. I phoned and spoke to a very unhelpful woman and I am not the most PC person so after some time the called was ended with the problem being esculated. I was tols that they could find no record of my call and instructions to remove the second driver. However, my phone shows that I was on the phone to the company for 2 min 8 sec. They refused to return the overpayments.

I Payed my renewal quote for my van, then a few weeks down the line i get an email saying my insurance will be canceled if i don't pay a shortfall £10.95 through no fault of mine, i spoke to a member of female staff by phone who i found not helpful. Adamant i had to pay the shortfall for my protected no claims bonus (which they did not apply to the quote in the first place.) Anyway after a lot of haggling she eventually put me through to a manager who i must say resolved the situation in minutes plus compensation for my inconvenients. That alone deserves ten stars ( very happy with end result ) Alan

The sales person was not sure kept altering what I put on the comparison site will not be renewing with them. Also they have to many phone numbers you have to use iff you have to make a claim

Not had to deal with a claim but a renewal increase of 20% is really poor. Insurance companies should be judged as everybody else would be.
