I was on hold to an advisor waiting to be put through to the 'renews' team. Due to the lines being busy, they advised me someone would call me back. Although slightly annoying as I was pushed for time, an advisor named Jason called me back within a few minutes and I renewed for another year. Jason was exceptionally helpful as was the inital advisor but ultimately, it comes down to cost. I have been with Policy expert for a few years as they always beat on price. Fortunately I've not needed to claim yet and as with all insurance firms, this is always the real test as to how obliging they are. In my experience, most businesses are more than helpful when it comes to taking your money!

Policy expert were. Very polite and quick to take my money. I hope it will be as simple to make a claim. You can not judge a insurance company unless you think you have a claim. Then I can tell you if you have maybe me happy or sad !!

I've only just bought the policy, so too early to say one way or the other as to whether or not I'll be happy with the policy. The price of it was good though.

Been here a few years for decent costs but the constant reminders are a total pain in the arse. Instructions to stop are just ignored. Even got one after I'd renewed this time. I won't be paying in advance of when I need to because why would I let you have my money in your bank account when it could be in mine. Stop the harassment and I'd give a higher rating

Good morning, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. I am really sorry if your renewal reminders caused you any unnecessary stress. We usually send around 3 reminders in the month leading up to your expiry date, this is so our customers are kept up to date with the status of the insurance. We also send out a monthly update, this correspondence usually includes things like helpful tips to avoid claims, weather warnings, competitions, etc but if you no longer wish to receive these there is a button at the bottom of the email you can click to 'Unsubscribe'. We welcome all feedback from our customers to constantly improve the service we provide, so thank you for your comments, they have been passed to the relevant department. Good morning, Thank you for your review, around a month prior to the expiry date of your cover we send out your automatic renewal invite, you have the option to opt out if you are unhappy with the proposed cover or premium. This document is sent out via post and email to ensure our customers are aware of the process, I am sorry to hear this was not the case for your renewal. I have been with policy expert now for a number of years and although I have never made a claim so cannot comment on that side, I have contacted them numerous times to change details or renew and have always found the customer service to be of a very high standard. From short queuing times to courteous and helpful staff. Unfortunately though policy expert massively let themselves down this time. I am moving home and contacted them to give details about the house and was given a very best quote of £251. I declined this, went on a comparison site and got a deal with policy expert for £181. Totally not acceptable to have such little thought for loyalty.

Good morning, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. As a broker, we offer a variety of different products with various different insurers. This means that some of the products we are able to offer online, are not always ones that we can offer over the phone. I understand that there is a fairly noticeable price difference with the quote we gave you and the quote you did online, however, this may be due to a difference in cover levels and the policy itself may not be the same. Nonetheless, I am glad to hear that you have insured with us at a price you're happy with for a further 12 months. It made me happy initially, but after printing my documents I found an omission on the number of external doors on my property. I attempted to have the error corrected but your assistant insisted on cancelling my policy and raising a new one - at a substantially increased premium. I said that was not acceptable and she offered me a discount and a £20 M&S voucher. I accepted on that basis but I have not received the M&S voucher. I am therefore not so happy now. Please send the voucher as promised.

Good evening, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, As explained when the voucher was processed, there is a 21 day validation period before the voucher will be sent to you. I can see that this voucher was only requested 10 days ago and therefore you should be expecting your voucher within the next 11 days or so. The level of service from the member of staff I dealt with was very poor. It was a women, with a foreign accent and she was difficult to understand. I had to say I would call back at one point due to the issue, however when I called back the next day I got her again! She was very insensitive given the situation (I was taking on House insurance for my deceased mothers house). And the member of staff made this very difficult for me and was not understanding. She was not listening to me properly, I had to continually repeat myself and spell things out for her. It was extremely difficult for me however I had to follow the discussion to the end in order to attain the renewal.
