“Our first claim in 35 years of marriage ….. burst pipe. The worse experience from a UK Company ever. Policy Expert and their claim company Trinity Claims are a disgrace to the insurance industry.”

“It's early days yet, but so far the experience of setting up my home insurance has been quite smooth. I chose PolicyExpert partly on price (from a comparison site) and partly by a review check. Policy Expert was the first to pass both tests. Hopefully there will be no more testing!”

“0 STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION. This company will not insure any house with any crack, even hairline. If you answer no to having any cracks they will then go online to find pictures of your house and point out any cracks. Even after providing evidence from a surveyor that everything is fine they will go on to cancel your insurance. I have now seen lots of complaints online and feel sorry for anyone that ever needs to claim as it looks like they will squirm their way out of anything.”

“Insurance companies seem to want to complicate matters by making the cover unclear, which then affects trust and confidence. Also had trouble paying on-line due to a glitch, which took several calls and a couple of hours to resolve, finally paying them direct - for which they usually charge you an admin' fee! They also asked several new questions when paying in person, that did not form part of the on-line questions. Did manage to apeak to someone fairly promptly each time though. Good service? Average to be honest (the proof would be how any claim is handled), but it doesn't fill customer's with confidence.”
