I am a self employed childminder i need a car so they what until all the children are back at school.
They say we are hear for you no!!!! They are hear for themselves.
Well they are losing three policies.
So after 28 year i am going to the Ombudsmen and i will never use Privilege OR DIRECT LINE and i will be telling all my facebook friends and ALL other childminders and i will be putting my feelings in writing to PACEY [PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR CHILDCARE AND EARLY YEARS ] TO make sure THAT OTHER CHILD CARE PROFESSIONALS know that if they need a good insurance company DO NOT USE PRIVILEGE OR DIRECT LINE INSURANCE we will be taking both car insurance and the house insurance off them ASP
So they now leave me with no car and no money AND the possibility of losing my business of 18 years.
SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A INSURANCE COMPANY TO LOOK AFTER YOUR HOME AND CAR DON'T USE DIRECT LINE OR PRIVILEGE.”

“Due to the purchase of a new car, I wished my "old" car (insured by Privilege) to be insured in my wife's name. After a telephone conversation with Privilege discussing my requirements I received incorrect documents. Following up on the error, I was given a revised quote which was more than double that of other quotes received. I cancelled the policy and am now due a pro-rata refund on the policy based on the remaining insurance period which has been agreed by Privilege. After 5 telephone conversation and a letter of complaint this matter is still not resolved and I have not received the refund due. The matter has now been running for over 2 months. If Privilege cannot handle the simple task of a refund which they acknowledge is due, they cannot be trusted with an insurance claim. This company makes commitments but does not follow through, I don't trust them and will not deal with Privilege in the future.”
“Ordered July 2016 as seemed good value. Simple quick ordering process and documents quickly received. I have not made any claims so was surprised to find that for the next year my premium was to rise by 25%. Had a quick look on Direct Line and found that for my previous Privilege premium I could obtain like-for-like insurance plus accident recovery and a taxi home for the forthcoming year. Ordered this from Direct Line and cancelled via telephone with Privilege who accepted my cancellation with no fuss.”
“I had no problems whatsoever when taking out my policy with Privilege Insurance, in fact it was extremely easy to deal with all the requirements requested. I would certainly recommend them in future and I hope when I come to renew again later in the year, that I receive the same courtesy and efficiency as I did in 2016. “I've had to make several changes to my policy- change of address, new car, new registration, etc - and each time staff were fast, efficient and friendly. I was expecting to be charged admin fees every time (I think many companies would have charged) but happily this wasn't the case with Privilege. Definitely recommend.”

“Made a claim through this policy. Privillidge are actually really good, helpful and really seem to care.
The whole claim process was let down by their supplier who delivered a broken product then took over two weeks to send a replacement ( would have been much longer if I hadn't chased them) they blatantly lied to me on several occasions and failed to keep their promises.”
“My brother has just been abandoned in wales whilst on holiday from Scotland. Accident was not his fault and other driver is being prosecuted. Privilege have said he will have to hire a car as his was written off, and not entitled to a courtesy car. What a load of rubbish....they haven't even asked him about the injuries he has sustained. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!
