Would also have been nice if both companies kept me more up to date with information as I always had to chase them.”
“It was the cheapest car insurance at the time. Although we never had a problem last week our car broke down so I contacted them and the truth is that they sent someone to tow us quick enough. The problems started with the person they sent though,as he wasn't able to recognise the problem and speaking on phone with my mechanic gave him a totally wrong factor for the car not working. My mechanic told him to tow the car to our house as he wasn't able to fix that kind of damage. However when my mechanic came the next day to have a look in the car he told me that the problem was much simpler and if he knew that from the beginning he would have asked for the car to be towed to his garage. He advised me to call the insurance and let them know that they should tow it there. Unfortunately when I called them they told me that they don't offer additional towing although it was theirs mechanic mistake so I had to pay extra more 60 pounds for towing.
So this insurance is good unless you need them.”
“I saved around £400 or more moving to these guys last year however they have hiked my renewal up £200 even though they were a lot cheaper on Compare The Market?
They informed me by email that they do not negotiate or price match renewals with any other companies or even themselves if they are cheaper elsewhere which I found very odd so I have changed providers this year.
I would go back to this company in the future if they were the cheapest online again but just bear in mind they are one hit wonders not an insurer you will be with for a few years.”

“I previously had van insurance and switched to car insurance as I now drive a car. I sent my proof of no claims for my van insurance and was told this would be invalid for my car insurance, so I have lost my 5 years of no claims, and my insurance premium therefore increased.
It was not clear any where that I would loose my no claims due to that fact my previous insurance was for van insurance.
Ultimately I have not made any claims so surely I should be able to carry my no claims across to my current insurance?”

“I needed to change my name and address on my policy but there is no provision for this and as you are only on line there is no actual telephone operator to speak to so i was unable to do this simple task. I certainly will not be renewing my policy with you this year and will not be using another company where there is no human person to contact.”

Didn't make it clear beforehand that out of my 7 years NCB the last 2 being on a company vehicle, cancels out the other 5 pervious to that from a private vehicle, so now I have to cancel the policy 1 month in, where I will be charged £53 for doing so and lose my £71 deposit.
