If there were 0.5 stars, i would give it that. YOU CANNOT GET HOLD OF PHYSICAL PERSON ON THE PHONE. I believe they are not based in uk. Someone scraped my car and left a note giving me all their details. They booked a garage which is 2 hours away. Now the garage is saying I need to pay for the repairs? PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT KNOW UK POLICY. AND CONTACTING THEM IS VERY VERY DIFFICULT. ANY ISSUE WITH YOUR CAR? any accidents? Might as well get your own lawyer.

Don't touch this company with a barge pole. Purchased car insurance in November for a year but purchased a different car and went to amend the details only for it to say I don't have a policy with them. I have a copy of the cover note but after emailing them for over 24 hrs I've now had to purchase new insurance in order for me to drive my car. They ask what went wrong....it was me actually going on their website to get insurance in the first place....STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Beware tho. I moved to a new build house and they would not insure it so told me to cancel which cost £33. I don't think I should have had to pay cancellation fee as it was them who were not prepared to insure my new build which also had the standard 10 Yr guarantee and was probably less of a risk than my old house. They are still looking into this.....tbc?? There is NO facility to phone the company for this as far as I could see.

Absolutely horrendous, after being with them for 3 years NO CLAIM they raised the policy by £300 !!! stay away, there's plenty better offers than this. Hope they will disappear from the market.

Well I thought highly about this company until today! They put my premium up from £500 to £850! Wow! I have had no accidents made no claims everything stayed the same! I don't know how you can justify the increase! They have said its a market factor due to non insurers and fraud! Obviously will be going elsewhere! Been offered £400! You should be wearing black and white jumpsuits and a mask! Think you need to start reviewing your premiums and take into account customer loyalty! If everyone else is in the same boat as me then you will be losing a lot of Customers! Definitely should consider changing your name to quote me extortionate!

Shocking customer service been waiting on a repair for 2 weeks to be told it will be 6 week till they can get it in to the work shop. How is that excepable. Can't even get hold of quate me happy to sort out my non fault claim stay away from these clowns

1 month since being involved in a non fault accident - currently still waiting for Quote me Happy to arrange a repair date for my vehicle. I am paying for a service but doing all the work myself having to call up garages and car rentals. I will never insure my vehicle with this company again. They have caused me so much upset and distress.

Terrible company and I plan to cancel with them as soon as they sort out the mess they have caused. They have paid out for a claim that was put through as my car. It wasn’t even in the same country as me and the named driver wasn’t even on my policy. This has now shown on my renewal. They are impossible to get hold off. STAY WELL CLEAR

Absolutely useless My current policy ends 4th March I'm going away 11th Feb until 11th April, need to add a friend to my policy so he can walk my dog Obviously none of their online FAQ help meets my request Completed and submitted their 24hr query form Received reply, busy! and got inundated with spam replies referring me to How to Add a new driver, How to renew policy etc But no actual factual reply that actually answers my query, so I'm left here frustrated and stressed So thought I'll add my friend to my current policy, and start a new policy with another company Completed their online Add a new driver form, and it came back with confusing figures, with a last line that says Amount to pay £6.36! That can't be right as their admin fee is usually approximately £30 already, so I'm more confused. So completed another form to ask if this is correct? No wonder their admin is busy, if all their online processes do is confuse their customers and generate more online form queries! Can't wait to ditch this cumbersome white elephant!

NIGHTMARE AVOID - I have been without a mobile phone now for 2 weeks as this company had done everything they can to avoid paying out (During being in COVID isolation). I have been waiting on customer service phoning or emailing me back now for over a week and a half (apparently should take 3 days) constantly chasing them up - customer service is uncontactable from anyone and can only be reached by claims team by email. What a very poor show by Quote me Sad. Will cancel my policy and NEVER take insurance out with them again.

i cancelled my automatic renewal policy straight away but low and behold they still took the full amount on my credit card.No chance of contacting them.Stay away would be my advice.

I have been trying to contact them for a follow up on my claim, but have had not response after I paid my excess. Worst ever insurance company. I even question if they are even legit! They are a nightmare! Would not recommend. I am going to take this legal as it’s mental harassment!

Accident over 2 years ago, wrongly put as at fault. After a year and a half I finally managed to get it back as not at fault. Last month they changed it back to at fault with no reason nor proof. Now I have to go back to the beginning once again. No way to call and speak to any human beings. Shocking. Do not recommend at all.

Would absolutely recommend everyone to avoid this company. My mother and stepfather where in an accident on Sunday morning on a country road, we were at a winter wonderland as a family and luckily a passer by brought them to us as there was no phone signal. they spent 5 hours trying to get home. Rang insurance who put them through to the rac to pick up the car and take it to their home, to be told from rac due to covid they wouldn’t be able to travel with the car (which they completely understood) and that they have to pay £253 for the recovery and it will be more if a winch is required, rac advised them to ring insurance back for arrangements on getting home, which they did to be told someone will contact them within 15 minutes. No one ever rang them back, constant chasing up and 5 hours later after being told a taxi was coming for them etc, nothing showed up and the kind locals at the winter wonderland managed to arrange a private taxi to get them home (2hours drive each way from where we live). After my sister complaining insurance company provided an email address to send receipt to to reimburse the taxi fare which was £140. All this time they were in shock and pains getting worse, my mother was crying with her pain and wanting to go home. (We didn’t have room in our cars to safely drive home or we would of took them). They got home about 5:30pm when the accident was around 9:30am! To find no car at the address, they had drove past the accident site on the way home and it had been recovered. They rang the rac to find because they weren’t at the car site when it was recovered and they had to use the winch that they took it to the depot, they arranged for it to be dropped off on the Monday once my mother agreed to pay the extra £90. Monday they rang the insurance and my mother explained the situation and bad experience the day before, the person she spoke to apologised and gave an email address to send all receipts etc so they could get money back that they had to spend, and said they should get a call in 24 hours for car to be recovered and a courtesy car. 24 hours later no phone calls. Attempted to call again to not be able to get through, tried to use online chat to be told that they couldn’t help and would need to ring directly. Unable to get through again. I rang the complaints number which was aviva who couldn’t help without a complaints reference number from quotemehappy, they put us through to the correct department who answered straight away, again person apologised and when looked the information hadn’t been passed to the recovery department! They said they would send it through and again should be sorted within 24 hours. It is now Wednesday afternoon and still the car is not picked up and they have no courtesy car. After having an accident and paying insurance every month this is not the hassle needed. Absolutely disgraceful! You should only have to make one phone call to your insurance company to inform them of accident and they should sort everything. If it was left to this company they would still have been stranded in the middle of no where. Avoid avoid avoid!
