Got the best price with SureThing through a comparison website then it all went wrong… They've literally made up a car accident and increased my car insurance by £200+ for the year. On top of this, they charged me £30 for not reporting this made up car accident so I'm now out of pocket £230. I've provided them with proof of my no-claims bonus along with a previous renewal letter from my previous insurers that proves that this accident never happened, yet they refuse to believe me and my previous insurers. I’ve spent 3 weeks, countless phone calls to SureThing and my previous insurers, multiple back and forth emails and I’ve got nowhere with them. If you use a comparison website and SureThing gives you the best price – avoid them. Pay a little bit more, as if they’re willing to fabricate a car accident to charge me an extra £230, they will be willing to do it to you as well.

Due to a slight problem with my named driver your company have taken advantage and charged me for everything they can and are demanding all sorts of extra details.

Missed a direct debit whilst on holiday. The company tried to take again but also took £20 penalty charge. I wasnt aware of this

I won't recommend this company at all to anyone, had my policy cancelled by them and i was hoping for reimbursement from my first payment cos i didn't use the insurance at all. but i ended up having balance with them its unbelievable. very bad company I'm happy i didn't continue with them don't get this. get another insurance company that have decent policy. very bad customer service too people on the phone doesn't have manners when talking to customers.. NIGHTMARES!!!!!

A drink Driver crashed into my car parked outside my house as i was asleep in bed at 4.55 am sure thing have informed me that i will have to c;aim off my insurance with a loss off £800 and 2 years no claims bonus,is this justice i think not. There are a few more things i could say about them but i might be arrested myself

I had taken out insurance policies and I called them within 28 days of policy to inform them that I have sold my vehicle and I would like stop my insurance policy or put it on hold until I get new vehicle, spoke to guy called mike he was rude and unprofessional over the phone could not even listen to what I was saying to him and put me on hold for ten minutes and gave some funny calculation fro his own mind that I got to pay £60 of cancellation and plus £198 pound for cancellation which is really rip off I read the agreement there is no statement saying that fee must be paid if cancellation were to happen within 28 days. what ever they mention on their web site is not true they rip off and I would not recommend to anyone to join this insurance (sure thing) I am not happy the with service they gave me and they took £82.60 from my account after cancelling the policy which tells they are dodge company.

Total rip off-I was victim of an accident which was later proven in my favour-Surething as a result a,most doubled my premium and promised a substantial reduction if the v claim was proven in my favour-It duly was and their reduction was a miserly 6 percent.I am now enjoying the same cover if not better at a third of what they were charging. One surething about this if you want to be disadvantaged you know where to go !!!!!

£87 to cancel my car insurance after selling my car. The insurance for the year was £250. Absolutely disgusted. Daylight robbery. Maybe cheap at the start but not in the end.

Customer service really bad got insurance which was cancelled straight away & things went wrong took 3 months to get a refund & had £125 taken off. I will never use this company again or Ambant ltd who they are an appointed representative. f that how they want to make money good luck to them !! They are a stay well clear of kind of company very draining trying to get anywhere with them !!

Sure Thing have been absolutely rubbish in setting up a new car insurance policy for me. In the first instance they omitted my no claims bonus. I had to cancel the first policy and have a new one set up which took a long time. Some of the questions they asked were superfluous when setting up the new policy. Once I had the new policy set up there was then a problem setting up my father as a named driver, which should be straightforward. Sure Thing make simple tasks very difficult. Also, correspondence that they send is unclear. It should also be noted that Sure Thing are not actually an insurance company but are insurance brokers.

Sure thing manage to make a simple transaction one of the most I have ever encountered. It has taken a week to resolve the issues and set up the policy , in that time they have failed to reply to emails and messages , in addition to not returning call. I have been passed between pillar and post . The process has involved , 8 members of staff including two managers. This is incostsistant and incoherent , the general theme is illogical , with some of the questions asked being unreasonable or bordering on stupid ( does the vehicle run on LPG when they already know it's diesel ! It might be cheap but you get what you pay for I guess. I spent 6 hours on the phone resolving issues mainly created by sure thing , if I had my time again I would do it .

Automatically they have extended an agreement with me on much worse conditions (almost 40% more expensive) and they told me to pay £ 80 for the ending

Customer service shocking, been on the phone for 45 minutes, not the first time. No one will answer the phone. I hope they dont cancel my insurance. Had problems with my bank account as it was fraudulently used. Surething didnt care, however premium credit have been amazing.

I didn't feel valued as a customer, I was sent an expensive quote but when I called, the guy on the phone didn't seem bothered to get me on board as a customer, he just interrogated me, he said I missed my renewal email so there's nothing he can do. Really bad experience and still didn't got a good quote, he asked me for £144 for cancellation fee I don't think that's fair.

Awful customer service. rip off merchants. They are very rude on the phone and can't even speak clearly. Wouldn't use.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. You shall regret dealing with people that they lure you into a good price then suck the blood out of you. I wish read the reviews before I bought insurance from the "Unsure Thing". I hope the Government will cancel their licence in the UK and beyond.

These idiots cancel your insurance without warning, without proper correspondence and charged a lot of money. They are unhelpful and I would advise anyone to avoid them at all costs
