“It arrived on time, with a young courier that wasn't keen to take the packages up 2 flights of stairs, so that was on me. The bed frame seemed to narrow at the head end, preventing the top slat from going in without 15 mins of sanding. I paid the extra £14 for felt floor protectors, which did not arrive, and when I reported this via email I received no response after 2 weeks now.”

Hi Gary, Thank you for your review. You selected our flat packed service. This service, from a 3rd party courier, only covers delivery to the main entrance of the building, whether it be the front door of a house or the main entrance door of an apartment complex. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We offered to post or refund your missing felt pads. You opted for the refund of the £7 paid. Our response to your email on July 19th was delayed by 5 business days, as it had not reached us until you sent a follow-up. As in the email response, we sincerely apologise for our lack of knowledge regarding the non-receipt of your original communication prior to your follow-up. It is beyond our abilities to know the status of emails that we have not received. Please accept our apologies for any misunderstandings or frustrations caused to you. “We went here a few times looking for a good wooden bed. Really good range available, lovely location to try things out, good samples of all the wood finishes and various options. Staff were realyl friendly and very helpful. After a few adventures we found something we really liked, and committed. Sales process was a little complicated, and we ended up with an order which was wrong and had to be corrected when it was confirmed. After this point it was smooth sailing. We got email updates confirming everything was going to happen. The delivery date was perfect, and the people who delivered the bed did it really reliable and communicated well. We opted to build the bed ourselves, which wasn't hard, but it needed some clamps/straps to ensure the joints fitted tightly. Nothing unexpected, and the bed is really nice. We're thinking of getting a second for our son's room.”

“The simple design and solid wood of the platform bed is exactly what I was looking for. Customer service was great from start to finish; starting with a phone call to confirm sizes for our very tight space, to receiving replacement rails after one was damaged in transit. The bed and the replacement rails both arrived via Fedex on the dates promised. I would recommend the bed itself and Get Laid Beds.”

“Excellent service ! Kept informed at every stage of the process once I’d ordered the bed. Also Franqui who assembled it for us in quick time was extremely helpful, polite and efficient. The bed itself is of the highest quality. This is a company I’d recommend to anyone looking for a new bed.”

“Terrible experience. I will never buy from this company and get and cannot recommend them. Firstly, when I ordered the bed over the phone, they were very unhelpful in getting a White Glove + Assembly delivery on a suitable date so I was forced to order by standard delivery and assemble the bed myself. Secondly, the instructions are misleading, leave important information out, and have conflicting instructions. And finally, they forgot to include a whole set of screws which means I'll have to call them to have screws sent out. And this for a bed that costs over £800 for just the frame. An ubelievably bad comapany.”

Good Afternoon, We sincerely apologise for any difficulties you may have encountered while assembling the bed frame. Our instructional materials include diagrams that clearly indicate the proper placement of screws, with accompanying images depicting the correct orientation. We encourage you to contact our customer service team directly for further support on this matter. We have listened to the phone call received form you before you placed your order. The assembly delivery dates in your area are once a week on a Thursday. As such, the earliest available date offered for assembly in your area was 3 weeks from the date of your call. All of our bed frames are made to order, and we do not keep stock of items. This, combined with the availability of your post code area, resulted in the aforementioned date. The customer service advisor was helpful in suggesting that the delivery date will change depending on the items you were purchasing and the service you we hoping to use. You opted for the self assembly service for a sooner delivery date in 2 weeks time rather than 3 for the assembly service. She also helped you understand and navigate the website as you were having problems using it. You thanked the advisor for her assistance and then went ahead and placed the order yourself. We apologise if you felt this assistance was inadequate in any way. In your second phone call in regards to missing screws . We apologised for the error and assured you we would make those involved aware so they could look into their processes. We confirmed that we would send out those individual missing screws you needed asap. However, at your insistence, we also sent a complete set of screws for the entire bed frame. We understand it is frustrating when things go wrong. We have made every effort to be helpful, apologetic, and efficient in resolving any issues that may have arisen. Regards, The Escalations Team

“This is the second bed we ordered from Get Laid Beds. We have two dogs and want to have low beds so the dogs can get on the bed easily. The ordering process was simple, we could follow the production of the bed easily online. We ordered to have the bed assembled for us, the team arrived to do the job, Franqui and Shannon, were amazing; they arrived on time, kept everything clean, both very polite and efficient!”

“lovely bed really pleased with it. It's the second one we have bought. Went together nicely and looks beautiful. My daughter and I both use your company and the quality is fab. Only issue for me is around delivery, you place an order and get quite an abrupt e-mail saying make sure you are in - we won't be giving you a time slot (when you actually did give me a time slot!), make sure we can get to your house etc etc and if we can't deliver you will be charged for re-delivery etc. It wasn't relevant to us as we have plenty of access but there are ways to word things when people have spent a lot of money with you. I'd have thought in the current economy an e-mail saying thanks for your order and we'll do everything we can to make it a smooth process would be better and worded better rather than what feels like quite a threatening e-mail which is clearly just a standard note sent to everybody, it really needs re-wording to say 'we're sorry we can't give you a time slot' rather than very blunt. Or why not try give time slots to make people's lives easier. When lorries are loaded the driver knows where he's going and who is first drop off. It's 2024! everybody has e-mails, sat navs and mobile phones - technology to keep us updated.”
