“Haven’t seen the bed yet but am a little confused as we delayed the delivery til after Christmas - but a part of the bed arrived already (at a neighbours house). Would like to have confirmation that the rest will come on the new date in January.”

“I have had the single oak bed, for guests for some years, then added the head board. Since moving to Northumberland, I have just changed to the orthopaedic mattress. And am using the bed myself. I.am disabled and keep falling off the bed while sitting on it (getting up). This happens even though Social Services has provided a side rail and a back rest. The mattress I love. But the whole thing is far too high now. The legs definitely need shortening. Do you think that might be possible? Thank you Rosemary Cairns”

“Delivery date was initially cancelled (on the day). When delivered the bed is great. Unfortunately the under bed storage was poorly made and had to be returned. We still await confirmation of when the replacement will arrive. Delivery team were excellent. Assembled bed well and instantly spotted the poor manufacturing of the under bed storage”

“The wood used for manufacturing the bed is beautiful. The logistics arrangement is excellent that I could live check the location of the delivery truck such that I can manage my time better. The delivery arrangement is also good that I can select white glove service. The bed can be delivered to the room I have selected.”

“I purchased a mattress. Communications with the company have been effective and instant from start to finish. It was delivered on the due day. The delivery company were great, contacted me the night before to give me a two hour slot and arrived in that slot despite appalling weather. Can't give a review for the mattress as I am waiting for the bed.”

“Recently we bought Modern Bunk Petite Double Bed and two mattresses as a Christmas gift for our children ages 10 and 12, but unfortunately we could not find the quality what we expected! We bought it from Stompa company before and we can say that it was really better quality. Unfortunately, we were hardly fit the mattresses we bought because they could not be measured very well ! . All screws not looking nice without adhesive sticker to cover holes!. Slats quality than bed side frames.Paints not quality enough.”

“Get Laid Beds has overall been a pleasant experience to shop with. Their website is extremely good, and very informative (pictures, bed sizes, UI). The lead times were much shorter than expected even though we opted for a cheaper date, it took less than 3 weeks. The items came in good condition with no visible damage to the paint, and are clearly cut to a high degree of precision. I would recommend their beds 100%, however the underbed storage boxes had a few quality issues.”

“The bed is lovely and the coffee stain is gorgeous. However it was really difficult to put together, because the instructions provided really weren’t very clear. It took us nearly 4 hours! There also weren’t enough screws included - luckily I had some in of the same size. Next time I would choose the option to pay for assembly (I usually enjoy flat pack assembly and needed the bed in a hurry so opted for standard delivery).”

“Bed and mattress was "installed" on Wednesday, "fitters" arrived on time, were superbly friendly and efficient, less than 20 minutes they were done. After taking numerous pictures of our new acquisition and sending them to friends, relatives and neighbours we finally found the courage to have our first night in it last night, four days after arrival. Had a great nights sleep, bed felt very solid and mattress firm and supportive. My partner said she felt as if she was in the clouds as the bed was a lot higher than our previous one. Very pleased with our purchase.”

“Delivery arrived on time as promised. Instructions to assemble was easy to follow and I only messed once but quickly rectified it. Bed feels sturdy and well built, and mattress feels comfortable. Second night, had a good night's sleep though wife complaining about my snoring!”

“Superb bed, materials are excellent and carpentry is solid. Coming from a dunelm thing that has fallen apart twice in 3 years and failed to survive a house move this new bed is a blessing. The bed is beautiful but the slats make such a huge difference, they're massive solid planks rather than the spliced cheap timber you usually find. This bed will outlive me. Delivery and customer service was also excellent though would avoid going to the showroom, its a dangerous place as you end up seeing all the beautiful things you could buy and end up spending vast amounts more money on beds you don't need.”
