Bed seems ok so far but a few issues. Firstly I paid for assembly and the guy didn’t notice one of the slats had a large chunk missing, I felt like I should just sign off without a proper inspection. As for the bed itself they do not come without enough slats (eg the gaps range up to 4.5 inches in some places and most mattresses should only be max 3 inch gaps). They say you can buy extra slats but they should just send with 10 or 11 slats not 9 for a double. And given I paid for assembly it’s annoying enough having to “buy” an extra slat to only then have to remove and re drill them in! Given the damaged slat I was given an extra free but it doesn’t really cover the cost/hassle of redoing the slats to fit an extra one in. Will see how the bed lasts but the slat issue is so easy to fix and tainted the experience.

I cannot fault the bed or delivery, the bed is extremely comfortable and is great quality. The only reasoning for the 4 stars is the instructions were not that clear at times, especially surrounding the hydraulics, if they were more clear my rating would have been 5 out of 5 stars!

Exceptional service through the entire buying journey. We were kept up to date on the building of our bed and given tracking info for the day of delivery. The guys who delivered were a pleasant duo and assembly is really efficient (built a king size Oxford during and after a morning meeting). Most importantly the bed is clearly high quality, the finish is outstanding and feels like a premium bed that we are going to be happy with for many years. Also purchased the floating which make for a really nice finishing touch. Cannot fault getlaidbeds and will be recommending them to anyone in the market.

Exactly as ordered. Delivered exactly when they said it would. Wnet together great. Apart from missing a few screws but thats not the end of the world. Slight dent in one of the headboard planks but can be put out of view. But I guess that's what happens when a couriers used.

I had never heard of Get Laid Beds and had been browsing all the usual furniture shops online, but was won over by not only the good reviews but the emphasis they put on quality craftsmanship, a 10-year guarantee, and the fact that their beds are solid wood. And I'm pleased to say that I have not been disappointed! My bed arrived bang on time and looks lovely. It was thorough to put together and you can tell it should last a while. Really excited and will definitely be recommending!

Ordering was easy and straight forward with plenty of delivery dates to choose from. Delivery day came and was given frequent updates of when to expect the arrival. The friendly delivery team soon had the packages delivered with no bother even though I live on the second floor. Assembly was easy to follow and the bed quickly came together. The storage area beneath the Ottoman is spacious. Slept very well since construction with the added bonus of a nice fresh wood smell in the room.

The mechanism works fine but as explained when I spoke to your representative, I specifically ordered from you as bed came part made due to a serious accident resulting in a broken back amongst many other injuries. The lady I spoke to said my address was fine and to order it online. I did this but upon calling again as the order didn't show on my account with yourselves despite the debit being made from my bank I was told the bed would be flat packed contrary to what the website said. The tongues of 2 of the headboard planks were too long both ends which has resulted in there being a gap as per photos attached. This is definitely a manufacturing fault and absolutely nothing to do with assembly.

It was easy enough to order the bed. Delivery on the day was made easy with tracking info. The two gentlemen who delivered and put the bed together were very helpful.

Good sturdy beds. Fairly easy to put together. Small suggestion would be to supply a small match pot of the paint used to paint the frames so that any scratches can be touched up once the beds are put together.

Changed the original delivery date on me. Then your delivery partner panther delivered half of a bed. I've sadly returned the bed due to having to purchase another bed to avoid sleeping on the floor. This wouldn't have been an issue but I don't work from home so quite an inconvenience. Thanks

You were made aware of a delivery date issue within 24hr of placing your order due to a website problem. We apologised and asked if there were any other suitable dates you required instead. Sadly on the day of delivery the couriers did not deliver 1 of your boxes at the same time as the others despite all 4 boxes being collected from us at the same time. We understand this was very frustrating for you and you requested a full return and refund. The items were collected and your refund has been processed within 6 days of the collection date, normally this is 14 working days. Very good service overall. I contacted the Customer Service as I wanted to provide parking instructions. They were polite and quick to respond both on the online chat and email. Delivery service was very good too, with their team carefully navigating through the flat to bring all the parts of the bed in the bedroom. Having said that, arranging for delivery might be problematic depending on where you live. GLB will require parking near the flat (within 100 meters if I remember correctly) and you need to pay for parking if needed (e.g. pay and display). Given the price of the bed and the fact that you have to pay extra even for standard delivery, I would expect the parking cost to be already covered.

Although the bed itself is good, the service is not. My wife and I travelled up to Leicester to see the bed in person, a bed we saw online and checked they had in the showroom. We got there (3 hour travel time) and there was the bed in painted black. We then got told that the website was wrong and they no longer do that colour, AND all the beds in the showroom were showing the old colour so we could see the new colour. We left very disappointed as we'd rung to check prior to arriving, asking about that specific colour and bed, and no one thought to tell us that they no longer do this. We emailed about this but never received a reply nor apology. 6 hours of my life I won't get back!

The required changes are in production however this is a lengthy process which Customer Service do not have any control over. Your complaint will be fed back to those who can make these changes to encourage it to be a smoother transition. I can only find one phone call from the number on the order and this was just to discuss a late arrival to the showroom due to traffic. I am sorry if you have called from a different number to have this conversation regarding finish, if you could provide the telephone number privately I can listen and speak to the team member involved and discuss the errors with them. Perfect bed for a teenager in a small room. Ordered a 3’6” Oxford bed. Easy to assemble ( under 3 hours) All screws provided and helpful pre drilled holes.
