“Very pleased with our king size Oxford bed. Easy to order from their website at a good price. Lots of choice too. Delivery was excellent and we paid a little more for delivery to the bedroom. Overall, would highly recommend the company.”

“Very happy with our new king size bed. Was delivered to our room of choice and quite straight forward to put together. The only thing was that we needed to screw down each slat (there wasn’t pre built slots or holes for this). But the overall finish is sturdy and looks great.”

“The bed is OK, but for the price I expected better. However, only 18 of 90 (20%) of the screws and screw cups were delivered. I was offered next day delivery for the missing hardware, which meant completion of my son's bedroom would be delayed (bearing in mind everything was timed for during school half term), or I could purchase the hardware myself up to the value of £10. Because there was so many missing, the hardware cost ~£15 and additional compensation has been declined. So, I recommend you don't plan to build any Get Laid Beds product on the day of delivery, or, be prepared for a trip to screwfix and some unexpected costs, frustration and admin.”

“Very pleased with the space saving design and the wood was a nicer finish than expected. Some of the screws were very hard to get in with a hand screwdriver but I managed it eventually. The instructions could also be a little clearer, especially for the slats, although it's fairly obvious what needs to be done. Mattress is very comfortable and all in all, a good purchase.”

“When ordeing the bed I specified a date as this was a present for my son. Upon delivery only 3 of the 4 parcels turned up. The 4th was lost. It took a lot of emails, phone calls and messages to GLB and Panther. I also had to escalate this within GLB as the responses given were poor. I did manage to get it delivered within the week, but sadly not in time for the birthday. The quality is good, and it was easy to put together. Not sure I would put myself through this again.”

“I think the product (Low Fuji attic bed) is excellent quality and should last for years to come, and I am very happy with it. However I built it myself and the instructions were very confusing. The list of contents on the paper instructions did not match what I had been sent, also the 3D image on the website did not match what I was supposed to build. I got there in the end with customer service who were great, but they really should include instructions on the website that exactly match the product ordered - it would have saved me a lot of time!”

“I'm sorry to give such a bad review but for the money we paid I'm seriously disappointed. I chose to build the bed myself. As a mechanical engineer of 12 years and a design engineer for the previous 2 , I should be able to handle a bed? However I assumed the letters on the corners of the sides, head and foot board should match up but they didn't. After hand screwing the 60mm screws into all 4 corners of the solid oak I realised that it had been stickered up wrong as the hinge mechanism was closer towards the foot end of the bed and the strut was on the wrong end of the hinge. Therefore had to disassemble the bed and start from the beginning. Please may I suggest looking at a better way to attach the sides. Posi headed screws are not convenient, when the access is limited and you have to use a screw driver. Hexagonal headed screws would be better; you'd be able to use an Allen key and tighten the bolts up better. Metal threaded inserts would be even better rather than self tapping into solid oak To attach the hydraulic struts to the triangular brace, you use a nut and bolt. I can only guess this is so that you can replace the strut easier but due to access, you'd have to remove the brace from the bed anyway. The head of the bolt, although reduced, still gets in the way of the bed and hinge so both braces have to be fitted at an angle. As well as this, the slot in the bolt is very shallow and its awkward to tighten. Surely it would be better to weld a pin into the brace, with a bushing on either side of the strut to reduce the huge amount of play? My next suggestions are a bit picky but we paid over 1000 pounds for this so I expect better. There are some fairly large gaps in the external slats and joints where the wood is bowed and the holes are slightly off. The hole in the leather strap is not in the middle and I'm wondering if there is meant to be two holes in it? And there are no spots or markings on the bed for where the horizontal slats are meant to go, so laying the slats in an even fashion takes more time than it needs to. Lastly, the headboard and footboard where pre built which I am grateful for but you included all the bolts and biscuit joints for both parts as if I was to build it myself. As a company you'd probably save a lot of money if you only provided the bolts that are required?”

“The company helped me to chose a bed and mattress; both of which, I am very pleased with. I had not realised that the frame and mattress would be delivered by two different operators and was very confused when I got two messages the day before giving me two different delivery times. Warwickshire Council were the only downside, with their parking restrictions in our area -requiring a substantial sum of money required for parking whilst it was assembled.”

“Exactly as expected. Very solid. Went together with ease. It is a two man job and a powered screwdriver is definitely an advantage. The only reason I didn't give it the last star was because I would have liked one more base slat.”
