the bed base itself is fine, and the drawer underneath works well. HOWEVER, their delivery was APPALLING. I paid for assembly and the delivery guy was in a huge rush and just said there was no parking and dumped the bed in its box in my front hall and left. I spent 45 minutes on the phone begging for them to come back as I really needed the bed assembled on the day I had confirmed weeks before. They claimed it was because there was 'no parking' but the guy just did not want to assemble! The delivery office told me no one could come back as they were too busy, and then told me they would follow up. No one did. They are completely unreliable and have very poor customer service which is disappointing as they market themselves as customer friendly. I guess I would recommend their beds as the base we bought is fine - but be prepared to be utterly disappointed by the assembly service. It was a joke! Get your own guy to do it. and if something goes wrong, be prepared that they will not try to help at all. I remain so upset

Good Afternoon, We are extremely sorry for the way in which the delivery team handled your delivery. There are procedures set in place in the event that there is no suitable available parking. This is in place to ensure the drivers do their very best in all aspects to park and fulfil the full assembly for our customers. I am sorry this procedure was not successful or was not followed correctly on the day. I cannot see an order number or name from this review, I am unable to look into who you spoke to from customer service. Please accept my apologies if they did not follow up as promised. Whilst the item itself is good and what we ordered, unfortunately the delivery/assembly was not good. The bed arrived with the wrong size supporting struts and as a result the frame was assembled and just left propped up against our bedroom wall. We then had to chase you re the solution for this and we’re told the earliest someone could come out to rectify this was 1st of December based on your assembly teams availability. This was an issue for several reasons; firstly we are a mere 15 minutes down the road from where you are based I’m sure you could have tagged on a first thing visit to quickly rectify this error onto your daily schedule the following day. Secondly the assembled and left bed frame is king size and as a result large and heavy and we have a toddler who it easily could have fallen on as we didn’t have anywhere we could store it given it’s size. Additionally my partner is heavily pregnant with complication and it could have caused her injury had it fallen plus she was left without a bed. After chasing we asked that as it was purely the struts missing could someone not just drop these off and we would sort and assemble it ourselves. Clearly your assembly teams were still saying this couldn’t be done until the 1st so a very kind employee (we think her name was Trish?) from your contact centre ended up dropping them off to us on her way home. We really appreciated this but think it was probably down to this individual going out of her way to sort it rather than Get Laid the company ensuring the error was rectified quickly. All in all disappointing as we shouldn’t have hd to chase and sort a solution to this.

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your review. We are very sorry that you had the wrong size slats,this is not what we expect for our customers. This has been raised to the QC team in the daily meeting we have with them. And the individuals will be managed accordingly. When you first contacted us on the 28th, the workshop and logistics team were already finished for the day. The Customer Service team had to wait for information from the logistics team the next morning. Sadly, on the morning of the 29th you called us before they were able to give us a date. Customer service do only start at 9am and logistics had not yet reached out to us. Trish was then away from her desk most of the day trying to get everything arranged for you. Finding the best way to have it delivered to you. In this instance she offered to deliver the slats herself. This is the level of service we would expect from all of our Customer Service team. It is not unheard of for a Customer service team member to go above and beyond expectations where possible. The soonest date the assembly team were able to reach you was the 1st of December. The logistics Manager was not able to have his team arrive any sooner nor was there availability of a different team. Luckily Trish was able to provide help in this matter to deliver it herself. Your replacement slats were delivered on the 29th. We are glad we could rectify this issue within 24hrs for you. However it is very disappointing that the error happened in the first place and the original replacement delivery date of the 1st did not meet your expectations. Finally assembled my bed, looks great. However one of my side beams is covered in glue and my floating shelves are missing from my order. Just noticed some damage!!

Unfortunately I haven’t had the best experience. The bed I ordered was ordered with assembly thankfully, as the bed would not fit together some parts were to short othes just would not slot together. The team were unable to build it and it had to be taken back. Very disappointed

Not great value for money. Several hours of self-assembly involved, with minimal instructions, and one box of parts was missing. The wood had lots of dents and nicks. For what we paid, I expected a better product. Would not buy again.

Good Afternoon, We are very sorry that one box was delayed in transit from the collections depot to the delivery depot during the delivery from FedEx. As an online courier we do rely on our couriers to deliver all boxes together, we are very sorry for the error that caused one box to be delivered on a different date. We can replace any of the parts you are not happy with if you wish. We would need a few photos emailed to customer service and they will be able to replace the parts that have marks on them. The Platform Storage (no headboard) bed is one of our most simplest beds to put together. Please do let us now if there is any feedback in regards to making it easier, eg the instructions to be simpler or different or any other feedback you can give. Very negative experience of the delivery driver being aggressive .. never encountered that in years of dealing with furniture delivery- sadly let down an otherwise pleasant experience

Beautiful Frame and that's about it. There's a reason why they don't list the installation instructions anywhere. The Shoreditch requires that you screw in the joints and slats, which makes assembling and taking the bed apart nightmarish and ruins the frame. The quality of the screws are extremely low end that strip or have had the heads torn off while trying to penetrate the oak. I have about 3 or 4 screws that had their heads ripped off and sticking out of the frame. The king size provides a central support piece which is not shown on the instructions or the 3d model online. I tried installing this above the slats, under the slats, and without (as the instructions do not clarify where/how to install it and the 3d model omits it). Regardless of where it's installed it doesn't touch the floor or falls in line with the other salts. without the support it slopes inwards horribly. The other horrendous issue with the bed is the squeaking. It's horribly loud. You can't roll over without making the entire frame squeak... Handmade doesn't necessarily mean quality it means errors and more expensive. Get yourself a Thuma if you want a quality frame that is silent and easy to assemble/reassemble. Avoid this company. They don't deserve your money. There's a handful of other issues, like paying for felt pads that weren't installed. Unhelpful support team when trying to figure out the central support. I can keep going, but avoid this company.

Medium pet bed Good: + Well made overall. Wood feels sturdy + Good paint job + Arrived on time + Easy to assemble + Looks good Bad: - Defect in one of the legs means the headboard isn’t flush - Two slats too wide to fit Really annoying: I asked customer service for the internal dimensions before purchase as we already have a mattress. I was told that the dimensions on the website ARE the internal dimensions, which seemed odd so I pressed but the agent insisted: yes, the website dimensions are definitely internal. Bed arrived: the agent was wrong, I now need a new mattress. Would have bought elsewhere if I had known! I then took the time to email and the response was pretty much ‘oh, sorry about that’… Summary: bed pretty good, though their quality control a little subpar. Customer service: pretty rubbish.

I over stated and paid extra to not have it painted or varnished. You didnt listen and coated it anyway. Next time, listen to the customers. Tbh you owe mw the 100£ back i paid to not have it coated which really should have cost me less to bot have it coated, Again another company who dont listen and another i loose trust in. Really angry tbh

I'm sad to put 2 stars. This comes to the fact the double bed doesn't have a middle supporting brace. Given the cost of the bed and the emphasis on good quality, I would have thought that was a given. I had to fit one bespoke to ensure the long-term resilience of the bed and I'm not sure everyone has the understanding, skills or know-how to do that.

The bed arrived with a heap of issues. TONS of missing screws, so I've had to buy a bunch of my own to complete the bed. Loads of places where the pre-drilled holes were completely OFF from where they needed to be AND other times where the pre-drill holes were too close to the end of the wood and essentially chipped/damaged the ends. In addition, the slates provided were all cut differently. Some were too small and therefore leave gaps, other were too long so I had to sand it down in order to fit it into the bed frame, which by the way has no indication / guidance as to where the slates should be placed. The instructions are also very unclear, especially towards the end. I had the ottomon bed, and the pistons / opening, closing function is extremely stiff and tough to deal with even after struggling to open and close it 5+ times to loosen them. I bought a king size bed and a king size mattress, but somehow the mattress doesn't even fit into the bed properly...Again, assuming the company just messed up the measurements again. Really bad experience overall and definitely going to stick to known, branded retailers from now.

Terrible experience! Wrong parts were delivered, so could not assemble our long awaited bed! Called the supplier, response was “take pictures of all the parts delivered, so we can figure out what parts are missing” Really?!?! For a super king size bed there are over 80+ wooden parts, if not more! This is a total joke and I will be asking for a full refund! Not to mention cracked side bed and broken packaging! Waste of time!!!

Good product, mediocre service Great product overall, but the service lacks quality. They forgot to include the mattress in our delivery (nobody would have noticed if we wouldn't have highlighted this)... Also, the delivery staff refused to assemble the bed at first due to "lack of parking" and were not really interested in a solution like parking in our yard. Took some convincing to get them to do their job.

2 stars because ordering was easy and delivery on time. My partner recently ordered a bed from Get Laid Beds. No issues with ordering or delivery but upon opening what was an expensive product I discovered that the fit of the tongue and groove joints between the frames and the legs was appalling! The edges of the slots in the legs weren't straight, rough cut and unfinished. Obviously little regards for quality control. Test fitting the pieces before screwing together resulted in a huge amount of slop not expected at this price, raising questions about long term durability. Also, the slats had no pre drilled markers for alignment so all had to be measured. Just to add insult to injury the instructions say that the bed is inspected by a master carpenter! Obviously rushed through production with no regard to quality, just making a buck. As my partner is very ill we decided it best to pack the parts for a better fit and keep the bed to save her any hassle but wouldn't order from this company again.

Specified a delivery date of 19 Nov and have been continually pushed back ever since, with no sign of a delivery in sight. Rescheduled original delivery date and for the latest delivery attempt I took appropriate leave from work to accommodate them, only to be told after 5pm they have to head back to their depot. After paying them for a bed and mattress I feel like an inconvenience adding to their problems rather than a customer who has had delivery promises broken time and again. No idea what state my bed will be in when it eventually arrives after being loaded and shipped unsuccessfully so many times. Called customer service manager to ask a question about proposed re-delivery but hey was in a meeting’ sadly
