“The beds are excellent but I’ve still not had all of it delivered. FedEx delivered 5 of 6 boxes on Thursday and nothing since. Set a day a side to build both beds and only completed one. One happy and one disappointed child. No contact from GetLaid beds or FedEx to resolve it”

Good Afternoon, We would like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you faced regarding the delivery of your order. It is truly disheartening to hear that only 5 out of 6 boxes were delivered by FedEx, at the time and that this resulted in one happy and one disappointed child. We deeply regret the frustration and disappointment this may have caused. Get Laid Beds were not made aware of this delivery split by FedEx. Our phone lines are limited on the weekends, however the customer service team are still available on live chat and email Monday - Saturday. The best way to raise concerns is to contact them directly. This would result in a response and further information being given to you once they had spoken to FedEx. We are very sorry you experienced a split in delivery, FedEx have rectified their mistake and the remaining box has been delivered. “Love it! I bought this bed as I got sick having to replace slats every few months or replacing the bed. The bed sturdy and strong! Which is just what I was looking for. Ordering was easy and communication was great!”

“Really happy with our bed and the whole buying experience! Great communication and seamless delivery, the wood looked just as pictured and a lovely quality and finish, and it was easy to put together ourselves with everything slotting perfectly into place. “I just wanted to say a massive thank you for our new bed. Vince and Adam went over and beyond with the effort it took to fit our lovely new bed into our tiny cottage. Please pass on our thank you for their dedication in getting the bed to its final destination. Ellie was amazingly helpful, both on the phone and via email in organising delivery - we ended up being quite needy customers and she was at the end of the phone immediately, even over Easter weekend. We are really chuffed with the service we have received from you all and want to say a big thank you! Amazing bed frame and mattress and amazing service - would highly recommend.”

“Great looking bed and the best customer service. I bought this bed as I like the idea of made in the UK. It took a few weeks to complete, but I very happy with my purchase. This is totally a dream bed. I bought the four post ottoman with the side table which is really handy. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting something unique.”

“Bed has been simple to put together and is made of great quality wood. Would need a good electric screwdriver to put together though as doing it by hand does not suffice lol”

“I am glad that I brought my bed from ‘Get Laid Beds’. The frame is sturdy and strong and you can actually smell the wood (a good thing). The delivery and assembly went well and the bed was placed in the right place without me having to say a word! I never thought that I would buy a ‘freshly laid’ bed, I always thought that I would by from a major retailer, but I needed one that ‘reinforced’ and wasn’t particularly keen on a Divan.”

“Great solid bed and delivered when they said. My only small criticism would be the advice that you can build it with just a hand screwdriver. I'm a builder and there's no way I could have put in all those screws by hand -definitely need a power tool!”

“The bed is good quality, sturdy and looks great, very pleased with it and good value overall. I shopped around a lot. The same for the mattress that we orderd with it, really good quality and very comfortable. The delivery was also good, very well communicated from Get Laid Beds and the courier and the delivery people were nice and helpful. The only slight niggle with the bed is that there are some small gaps where the wood isn't flush where it joins. On the base it doesn't really matter as you can't see it and it's very sturdy so obviously doesn't affect the integrity. On the headboard the gaps show as it's against a pale wall. There are bigger gaps on one side one side so looks a bit off but that noticeable. Maybe it's the rustic look. As I say, I'm really pleased with the bed and the niggles are just that, not the end of the world.”

“Brilliant service which endorses my decision to buy from a British company. Although the price was higher than other suppliers, the quality of service and product is worth it. My only criticism is in relation to the delivery/assembly chaps - they were great and did a good job, but they told me that their day started at 02:00am, leaving Nottingham to pick up the bed from Leicester and then onto London. This doesn't sound like a sustainable working day and is surely unsafe. I think the company need to look at other ways of delivering their beds. Overall though, definitely a company I'd use again.”
