“Bed is amazing and good value for money when in the sale. The bed is sturdy and well built, there were no issues with assembly other than the instructions could be a little clearer IRT pieces that need to be in a specific orientation... Only negative was the turnaround time from ordering to delivery as it took roughly 2 weeks to be delivered, the company offer a faster service at double the delivery rate hiding additional costs.”

“The bed was fine but I was very disappointed with the quality of the drawer under the bed. The pieces of wood were not all the correct length which made it very difficult to put together. In addition the instructions were really hard to follow and there weren’t enough screws. When I called customer service to complain I was told I’d have to take pictures of the pieces of even though I explained it had already been wood. If you are looking for something which is easy to put together, I would suggest looking for an alternative.”

We sincerely apologise for the disappointment you encountered with the quality of the drawer for under the bed. We understand that encountering incorrect length of wood pieces made the assembly process quite difficult and the instructions were not as clear as they should have been. Furthermore, we are sorry to hear about the lacking number of screws provided. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and understand your frustration. The Customer Service team will request images and measurements from you to be able to assist you and accurately record errors so that the Production QC team can be made aware. If you do wish to have this rectified please do follow the Customer Service teams advice, they are more than happy to assist you with replacement parts for your under bed storage draw. “Overall very happy with GLB. Only slight issue was the delivery. We organised to work from home to recieve the delivery on the Friday as per our order, but only 5 or the 6 boxes were delivered. So the following day (Saturday) we had made clear to remove old and build new bed was not possible. The last box arrived on the Monday after! So we had to wait until the following weekend to finally build our new bed. All happy now. It is a nice and sturdy feeling bed. Feels well constructed. Easy to fit together, looks good. Would still recommend.”

“Our bed was delivered on time no problem, and I even managed to change the delivery date at short notice. But things went down bill quickly after delivery when we discovered there were no instructions or screws in the boxes. After contacting customer service they agreed to send it out on 24 hour courier but it unfortunately took 2 days to arrive and we soon discovered they had sent out the wrong instructions with the wrong screws! By this point we have missed the window to get the bed assembled by the weekend for our kids. When I contacted customer service (again) to make a complaint and ask for the screws to be urgently delivered it had been 6 days since delivery. By the time we (hopefully) receive the correct screws it will over a week! I was not offered any compensation after the first mistake. By the second mistake I pushed again and the offered me a small refund. The only reason this review is not a 1 star is because the original delivery was one time! And they agreed to at least a small token of good will. But Disappointing customer service overall given the amount of money the beds cost.”

“We are very happy with the service provided by Get Laid Beds and would recommend them. We ordered an Ottoman storage bed for our new build house as we needed extra storage. The men arrived promptly two days after our move and despite some difficulty in finding us (not their fault, postcode not showing yet on Google maps!), they quickly set up the bed and showed us how to operate it. They were cheerful and courteous and did a fantastic job. We are very pleased with the new bed, it is extremely comfortable.”

“Very disappointed. I placed an order with George Dax 29th August. I paid into your bank to save you credit card fees as arranged 30th August reference 214019, the Order ID in your email 29th August. I was very clear with a delivery date Wednesday, 25th September 2024. We arrived a day before from Australia to take this delivery and build and use the beds. Your systems failed. You failed to recognise the payment. You cancelled the order. You failed to let me know you cancelled the order. This is terrible and very rude! You had the money but you never made an effort to connect it to my order. The order did not arrive as needed. I spoke to an American Cara, I think. She did her best to correct the problem and we got our beds 4th October, just 3 days before we returned to Australia. I thank you for fixing the problem. No formal apology from your management nor any credit for the massive inconvenience has been received. The beds look great.”

“Where to start…the bed is absoloutely beautiful. Handcrafted, hand cut and stunning! I am so, so glad I ordered from this company, supporting independent businesses is so important and every single detail is just brilliant. The branding on the bed slacks is such a lovely little addition. If you’re looking for a quality bed that’s going to last you a lifetime… look no further!! 10000/10”

“The bed is of exceptional quality and is available at a reasonable price. The assembly process was straightforward, and the delivery service was excellent. I highly recommend this product and would gladly use it again. Regrettably, the bedside tables are quite expensive, which prevented me from purchasing one.”

“Delivery as described/arranged. Bed is beautiful and sturdy once built. The pre-drilled screw holes in some places were really hard and in the end we had to borrow a power drill/screwdriver thing (impact driver?) from a friend. The angle of some of the screws was also really hard to reach with the length of the tools we had available.”

“This could be a great product and I would love to have given it a 5 stars, but when it came to the assembly, the bed had a few mistakes and problems originated from the factory, which has let down the product in itself. I do like the bed a lot and I think it is a very good design, however, the design execution is not the best it could have been. I have to say that I have been doing woodwork and cabinet making for the last 12 years and my eye is trained to look and see how things should come together. In this bed, the central support comes a fraction too low, I am talking 5 mm. As it is, the weight of the mattress and the people on top, with time, will bow the softwood pine, downwards. Some of the pre-drilled holes in the wood planks for the screws did not align. They do not have dowels, if they did have a dowel in some of the planks, the screw holes would align perfectly, but without the dowels it becomes more difficult to make sure you are aligning the planks correctly for the screws to go in the right place. Finally, the slats should be about 1 cm longer to snug/fit better in the bed frame. Also, the screws that fix the slats to the lateral bed lengths should be drilled right in the middle of the lateral bed length for better strength and to protect the ends of the slats. It is my opinion that if these points were addressed, Get Laid Beds would have a 5 stars product in their hands. At the same time I have to complement their customer services as they were quite good in trying to resolve some of the issues when I first contacted them.”
