“Poor. Poor quality instructions. Barely could see photos. Bed stuck in open position. Complained to next. Heard nothing back yet and with Xmas approaching not impressed. This is not our first rodeo with self assembly and my husband is pretty handy but even as a gas fitter he cannot work out how to keep the bed in down position. Help required please !”

Good Afternoon, Thank you for reaching out to our customer service team directly to get assistance. The ottoman will not work without the mattress on the bed frame. Once you receive your mattress from your supplier, place it on the bed frame and then push down on the frame to allow the pistons to work correctly. “Really pleased with the bed and bedside tables. Can't fault the delivery, arrived exactly on time. Quality of the bed and bedside tables is very good - easy to put together and great quality - again really pleased, and wqoudl definitely recommend”

“I've been asked to write a review but couldn't tell you as the bed hasn't arrived despite paying £40 for named day express delivery. One battered box has turned up but not the others. I contacted customer services who were very dismissive, told me the express fee is just for the bed being made and doesn't have anything to do with shipping, and that it wasn't their responsibility basically. So buy at your risk and don't bother with rush shipping - not point getting your bed built quickly only to have it sit in a fedex warehouse getting bashed about.”

“I was really happy wiht the bed, and with teh customer service. Ordering was straightforward, we were kept informed of progress as the bed was made in the workshops, and the delivery was timely. The bed itself seems to be really good quality and well finsihed. Came neatly packed, and my twelve year old daughter assembled it on her own in an hour. Looks lovely!”

“The product quality is brilliant and we are very happy with the end result. The instructions for build were not clear and had weird images in them (chickens?!). It made me assume it is not a British produced product?”

“This is the 4th bed I buy from them. The previous 3 were ok. Nothing amazing but just a normal simple bed. But this 4th time they made my bed the wrong size, I had to assemble it myself then send them proof in a video and after them accepting the bed was made wrongly and me declaring I want to return it, they won’t even send a team to disassemble it for me. I have to do it myself even tho it wasn’t my fault. Very sad with their decline in customer service over the years.”

We’re truly sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your latest order, especially as you have not had to reach out to customer service in the past for help with a received bed. It’s disappointing to learn that there was an error with the bed size and that our offer to resolve it didn’t meet your expectations. Unfortunately there was an error in understanding what was required for the customisation when speaking with the team. We’re committed to addressing this internally to ensure a better experience for all our customers going forward. Once the error was understood, thanks to your images provided, the option for you to receive the correct parts was offered but you declined and requested a return instead of a resolution. We were unable to return the pervious order received in September 2023 as it was well outside the returns window. However we can accept a return of your recent order. We understand how frustrating it can be to have to handle the disassembly yourself. As you received the bed a flat packed self assembly delivery there would be the need to disassemble it yourself to return it as per the terms and conditions you agreed upon at point of order, this is not something that has changed. “I was looking for a bed that would fit perfectly into the small guest bedroom, and the Low Oriental Bed (Space Saver) from Get Laid Beds turned out to be an excellent choice. “The bed itself is ok. I've only given two stars because the instructions are useless. They do not give any dimensions on the position of the hinges and dampers. Because of this the fitting took twice as long as it should have done.”

We understand how disappointing it can be to wait longer than anticipated for your order, especially when it was expected to arrive by a specific date. Standard deliveries outside of the UK mainland are estimated delivery dates only and can take 3-5 working days to arrive from the point of dispatch. “Was so full of anticipation after reading some good reviews. Sadly, this led to an over offering to an under delivery on the bed. My bed came with marks, chips and dents, added to scuffed paintwork. I was only offered £65 on a bed that cost £724 - so I am now waiting a replacement. Not the transaction, quality or service I had hoped for.”
