“There are evident chips in the woodwork. We haven’t built the bed yet but theywere there on delivery. The delivery men were friendly and helpful.”

“Very happy with our bed and mattress. Delivery was smooth taken upstairs for us which was appreciated. Build instructions could definitely be better in places, but overall went ok. Bed looks great and very sturdy.”

“The bed and mattress are good quality and arrived on time. The delivery operatives were friendly, however, in their haste to deliver quickly, one of them tried to carry too much up the stairs in one journey and knocked two pieces of plaster from the corner of the pillar at the base of the stairs - the staircase had just been decorated a month ago.”

“Really pleased with our new bed - Simple delivery in parts to enable us to build in the bedroom as we have a listed cottage with tight stairs. We were kept updated and delivery was on time. Well made and attractive, it has provided us with a better nights sleep than our previous bed and look forward to many more sleeps!😄”

“Only had the bed a few days so can’t comment on durability but it certainly feels durable! Very very sturdy bed, you can tell it’s very good quality wood. The bed fit together incredibly easily and I was surprised at how few screws it needed. No annoying fixtures or other bits to loose and puzzle together. I didn’t buy drawers but I can fit way more underneath it than I thought too. Double what I could under my last bed. I did a lot of searching before deciding on this bed and I know now it was well worth the price.”

“Love the bed, but arrived without screws and instructions, I called and they refunded £10 for me to get screws and e-mailed instructions although it turned out he didn’t need them as it’s really straight forward, good quality bed”

“We ordered a double bed in oak, for my son, and it is absolutely beautiful. We can smell the freshly cut wood. It is well made and I know we will get many years of wear out of it. Get Laid Beds maintained communication with us throughout the process of it being made and delivered. I will probably order one for the spare room as it is such good quality x forgive my son’s untidiness, the room is on the process of being redecorated in a Japanese style with natural tones”

“Three days wasted with agreed deliveries that didn’t take place. How hard can it be to send out a bed?! Customer service was good, but reactive not proactive - each time I had to call to find out where my bed was to be told it was still not on the van for delivery. Bed itself is pretty good, but the hassle to get it kind of shadowed getting it.”

“Good product but the assembly instructions and accompanying pictures should be clearer. Twice I had to unscrew parts to turn them around because the instructions didn't specify which way was up, and that particular detail wasn't visible on the drawings.”

“The Bed is ok. Customer service extremely poor. Bed has been delivered on the due date. However, mattress was not delivered on due date and l had to waste a lot of time contacting them to understand what has happened and to ask them to deliver it before Christmas instead of after as they intended due to their lack of staff . I had also contacted them before the delivery date to ensure everything was in place and when they came home they had not brought the mattress !!”

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your review. The original delivery team was halved due to sickness and were unable to carry the mattress to your room alone. The decision was made by the dispatch and transport management team to have your mattress delivered my a 3rd party courier one day later than the rest of your order. This decision was made so that you could still have the white glove " to the room" service with two men delivery team with the mattress too. We are very sorry that the dispatch team did not make you or the customer service team aware in advance of this decision and that we both only found out on the day. Despite our best efforts the 3rd party courier let us down and tried to deliver the mattress on a date most suitable to them rather than yourself, despite us making arrangements to your needs. However it was still successfully delivered one day later than your bed frame. Please do accept our apology for the inconvenience caused to you. Kind Regards, The Get Laid Beds Team
