You only packed half the items ordered for delivery, I rang to complain and it was advised delivery would be next business day for the missing items. Those missing items never came. What a terrible and disappointing experience. I expected better and I am still waiting. Based on my experience this time, I would find it incredibly difficult to recommend Gourmet Basket to anyone.

"Next day delivery!!!!!" Mine was dispatched 18th and delivered late in the afternoon on the 24th!!!!!! "freezer block"warm and cheeses stinking. Barossa Bark all in smashed up pieces.

Three more reviews about recipients not receiving their gift baskets on the preferred date all in the past week. One ordered two months out and still couldn't get it on time. Yet I note only positive reviews receive a response from you . Why is this? Im still waiting for email acknowledgement three days after the complaint was lodged.

I ordered a gift basket to be delivered 4th June and wasn't delivered until the 7th June. This was very disappointing as it was a birthday gift

Absolutely disgusted!!!! Paid $140 for bottle of Moët and 6 koko black chocolates for my sister........ extremely disappointed as I have used the hamper emporium before and they wrapped it all up beautifully and made it so glamorous but this was just in a box (I thought it might have been all wrapped up beautifully in a basket when I had paid so much) never ever using this company again. Disgusted

Please know we do fill the box with black tissue paper to protect the items, but to also elevate the items within the gift box, and we style the outer gift box with a styling theme and ribbon. Unfortunately the delivery portion of the order let your service down. 5 days after the due date with daily conflicting information does not provide a great deal of confidence.

I live in the uk I ordered a gift for a relation in Australia for a birthday, woke up to find a email that it was out for delivery a month early, after panicking and various emails and the time difference between uk and Australia they manage to stop the delivery driver from delivering it and have promised to deliver on the correct date as per my order (I live in hope).

The courier failed to deliver the goods despite the recipient being at home. The courier lied about making an attempt to deliver causing a great deal of inconvenience. There’s no point having a delivery service if they do t deliver. It would’ve been easier for me to use Woolworths to purchase from and deliver the goods at Easter at a fraction of the cost and a reliable delivery service

Basket was not able to be delivered so was sent to post office. Gourmet baskets did not notify me there was a problem, nor what the process would be. Post office contacted me and now I've had to ask the recipient to collect it from the post office. Update: Gourmet Baskets have responded to advise that the delivery driver should have left a card advising the recipient. They still don't seem to understand that in a case of non-delivery the sender needs to be advised. And I don't know if the item was damaged - but am unable to uncheck Yes without stating No, which is a fault in the website.

I requested that the parcel should be delivered on the 18th but was only delivered the day after not satisfactory. especially this was for a wedding. Very disappointed.

Received a confirmation of delivery email, but the basket was not received by the intended recipient (at St Vincent's Hospital), your staff are currently chasing down the consignment note from the courier. Both private and public hospitals have confirmed they do not sign for deliveries at reception, not sure why the recipient was not called to collect (mobile listed on the order). My 1 star review may change if the item is located and delivered correctly.

I would love to give you a better rating, but the basket did not get delivered in time. I was assured it would as I gave ample notice. Ordered Wed morning to be delivered on the following Monday. Work hours to me are 9 to 5pm. The basket arrived at 5.30pm. By that time the person whose it was intended her last day, had left the office So am a bit disappointed. I'm sure she will be happy with it when she finally receives it though

Everything was broken and spilled on everything. Requested to speak with a representative through message, and it never heard back. I called a week later, asked customer service for refund, and they said no. Never again!
