Basket was 5 days late and had plenty of notice for a very special 70th. The alcohol ordered with basket didn't arrive and if I didn't specifically ask my friend if she liked the bottle, I would never have known they didn't deliver it. They did fix it but too late.

Poor performance. Baskets were not delivered on the correct day. No communication to advise of this from Gourmet Basket.

In spite of giving over 2 weeks notice of the required delivery date of a bottle of French champagne - and discussing by phone the current transport delays with the agent from Gourmet Baskets - my order was not despatched from interstate until 24 hours before delivery...! and hence did not make it on time. In fact, 4 days later, still not seen. $120 down the drain. Very, very disappointing.

To date my son has not recieved his birthday gift basket that I ordered on 28 August 2021 and ask if it could be delivered on or just after his birthday on 30 August 2021. When I inquired, which I have done twice by email, they said they tried to deliver it twice, however there was only ever one card left to say they had tried to deliver and then just a few days ago, I got an email to say the address was incorrect. Which it is not. My son has since got in touch with your company and they are trying to remedy this. I would have to say I am extremely disappointed with this as it was a birthday gift from us here in NZ.

Not happy. For $180 I was expecting more than a cheap bottle of red and the wrong ratio of cheese to other toppings. If you have such strong flavours like caramelized onion, fig log etc you need more than 1 small cheese to balance them out. Its very ironic that it came with a book on how to balance platters to have the complete wrong balance.

I sent two baskets on the same day for delivery 15 minutes drive from each other yet one delivery arrived two days after the advised delivery date. When I called to enquire why the basket had not been delivered I was informed it was the couriers fault. My response to that is you choose the couriers and if they can’t meet your delivery date find one that can.

For a special 40th birthday the gift was received 4 days late. He also said it was meh. Have previously used and referred but never again.

Customer beware. This company grossly overcharges for shipping and does so in a sly and obscured manner. One easily missed prior to check out. Their customer service response regarding this was equally deplorable. We were told, as if we were children, that California was a "long, long way from our shop in New Hampshire" and that they would have to get our gift basket it's "own plane ticket". Seriously? It's a nationally advertised company owned by a multinational parent. A company very, very happy to gouge their customers then talk down to them. Stay away!

I paid extra to have my gift ordered on time as it was a birthday gift…. I had even entered in comments it was to be delivered by 31st August …. But when I rang your company, I was told it was being delivered on 3rd Sept… so dissatisfied and disappointed

I'm very disappointed that they didn't let me know that not only was my hamper not going to be delivered on my mum's 75th birthday but it hadn't even been dispatched. Why take a booking if it can't be fulfilled.

I didn't receive confirmation that my order had gone through online and I couldn't find any details of the transaction. The delivery date was scheduled for Friday 30th July and I did the order on Monday 26th July (plenty of time for the order to be processed). When it didn't arrive by the evening of Friday 26th July, it confirmed to me that the order, in fact, did not process and that I must have done something wrong when order. So I did a quick evening online order to a local florist in Adelaide and got them delivered on Sat 31st. I am very disappointed with the service and how the system let me down. I paid for two gifts for my friend instead of one. I have used you before for a large basket purchase in 2020. I am certain I won't be using your service again. This is a shame as a lot of my friends are turning 50 this year and due to Covid lockdown, sending a basket is the perfect option.

The hamper ordered was never delivered to the recipient. Delivery was attempted twice - after hours - to a a business and then sent to a post office for collection by the recipient! Paid for delivery but the recipient has to collect it themselves from a post office. Poor Service

You only packed half the items ordered for delivery, I rang to complain and it was advised delivery would be next business day for the missing items. Those missing items never came. What a terrible and disappointing experience. I expected better and I am still waiting. Based on my experience this time, I would find it incredibly difficult to recommend Gourmet Basket to anyone.

"Next day delivery!!!!!" Mine was dispatched 18th and delivered late in the afternoon on the 24th!!!!!! "freezer block"warm and cheeses stinking. Barossa Bark all in smashed up pieces.

Three more reviews about recipients not receiving their gift baskets on the preferred date all in the past week. One ordered two months out and still couldn't get it on time. Yet I note only positive reviews receive a response from you . Why is this? Im still waiting for email acknowledgement three days after the complaint was lodged.
