“Will never use Groupon again! when I order one item which I did receive however, a week later send a email saying I purchase a random item I knew nothing about. 1st time they removed it, They told me it was because I had save My account visa number on my account page. Then the 2nd time I purchase voucher, I made sure to click do not save My account number. I Logged out and back in to app to make sure card number wasn't on my account page, how about a week later same issue they claim I order a service I did not, when I look at my account, my visa number is on my Groupon app account page again, I'm positive it was not there when l order this 2nd voucher. They refused to refund my money, I feel like some fraud is going on. I had to dispute it with my bank to have it removed. No more Groupon for me I've removed the app.”

“I purchased a groupon for a hotel and they booked it with both my credit cards that they had on file. You can not call Groupon. They do not have a phone number that works and I tried the chat service and they told me I would have to talk to Groupon Getaways and I spent over an hour waiting for them to come on. I had emailed them multiple times with no reply. Having to dispute my credit card charge. I will never use groupon again. I have unsubscribed to the emails and took the app off my phone. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE”

“Everything! My experience was a total disaster. They did not clarify some of the important notices in their add. When we contacted them to resolve this matter they lied to us twice, and the third time they were not in any position to help apparently. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER”

“Bought a ASUS 15.6" 2-in-1 Laptop - Intel i5 2.2GHz 6GB 1TB Win 10 through GROUPON and it was a mess. Computer was advertised as NEW and free RETURNS 30 DAYS. and, it arrived in a junky box in obviously extremely used condition with scratches on the top, sides and keyboard, and when i plugged it in, straight out of the box, it would not boot to the home screen or even function at all. Then I tried to get a return label and it was a disaster! I jumped through every hoop GROUPON threw at me and STILL could not get their ESCALATION team to send me a return label. I used to love GROUPON and buy tons of services and items through them. Never again after spending over 3 hours just trying to get them to send me a return label.”

“customer service and the so called ''online chat'' people are NEVER helpful, they just copy paste things for you. Orders never came in time. Once my package got lost and they didn't help me for about 1.5 month! Their redeemtion codes NEVER work. They just suck up your money.”

“The first time ever using Groupon I bought a voucher in the amount of $30. I later found out when booking an appointment for the place that is was no longer open. I then received a credit to use for a different place. This time i bought a voucher in the amount of $140 including the credit. I spoke to the owner who told me I would benefit from a different service alltogether. I tried to get a refund through Groupon and they blocked my email and would not answer any more of my questions or offer any support at all. Wouldn't recommend unless you call the place you're going to buy from beforehand.”

“Why do they refund my orders without a reason? I receive offers to buy groupons, and then when I do, they refund them. Why would I ever use Groupon again if they just refund any deals I get?”

“Purchased a voucher for a pizza meal for 2 in our favourite restaurant booked a table but unable to use voucher as they have left Groupon. Still having a battle for a refund from Groupon it's not easy . The restaurant deal is still on their site even though you cannot use it or get your money back .”

“Purchased one voucher for weekend break from Groupon. Only problem was they took payment off my credit card TWICE on two separate days! Spent approx. 7 WEEKS trying to get money back but was met with same answer after numerous phone calls and e-mails. Groupon always asking for same details- in the end they stopped replying and never refunded the money they took illegially Took the bank to sort it out for me. Avoid Groupon at all costs!!!!”

“This is an Internet Marketing company, operating in UK as though they the law to themselves. From my direct experience of dealing with them as a customer, I find Groupon systematically engages in shortchanging their customer by clever manipulation of information, illegal misrepresentation and poor service. It is very costly and time-consuming to contact the company as no the company seems not have any physical presence in the UK and the phone calls(the UK landline No) to the company are always directed to some dysfunctional call centres in the Philippines with no positive outcome.”

“I ordered a basic smart watch for work, to use the features on the watch such as push notifications it tells you to download a free apk app, once I did that my phone was inundated with pop up ads INCLUDING PORN. Do not install the free app!!!”
