My account was blocked and i cannot get in touch to see what's happened. I bought a driving experience coupon for my husband's anniversary. The day i bought it, they sent me an email saying my order is processing . Next day i wanted to see the status they say there is no account linked to the email address i received the confirmation the day before!!!!. You cannot call - fill up a form and apparently they call you back . Forget about still waiting after 2 weeks.
I understood from one friend that it took her about 6 month to resolve a problem which is still not solved

“Total lack of follow-through support from Groupon UK. After paying for a deal and then booking with the merchant (restaurant meal) the merchant then cancelled booking....reason was that Groupon had failed to pay the Resturant on 40 previous occasions for coupons purchased by Groupon account holders and were no longer accepting any bookings from this website. Having contacted Groupon Support with my complaint (they still have my money for purchase) and after nearly 3 weeks they have failed to respond further to resolve this issue, this amounts to a fraud!”
“Ordered 3 identical items before X'mas 2017 from the Groupon (2 arrived in a pack). Their courier Hermes lost the 3rd identical item 3 times despite reordering. Groupon blamed Hermes for not delivering and on the 3rd occasion it was delivered 100's of miles away from my address. Hermes blamed Groupon for the wrong address, but when I inquired with Groupon they confirmed my correct address. Despite this, as a customer I was sent round without the item and I ordered the same from Amazon and received it promptly before Xmas. Neither Groupon or Hermes have taken responsibility! The CE's of both companies should be sacked for a pathetic service!!! I will writing to both companies and sending it to the press.”
“I purchased a coupon for a massage, but the therapist never returned my calls. When I called last week, the phone was disconnected. I checked her Facebook website, and it had been taken down. I contacted Groupon, and kept getting emails that they were checking into it. I contacted them repeatedly, and finally got an email confirming the business was closed. I initiated a chat, and was promised I would receive an email with a trade-in within 24 hours. More than 2 days has elapsed - nothing. I tried another chat, and got a message that no one was available: "Please check back later". Then I got an email, asking me how my chat went! Terrible customer service.”
“NEVER trust groupon with anything related to travel. I purchased a groupon for a hotel stay two weeks ago. They just CANCELLED my stay without informing me, and sent me an email that they refunded my credit card because they published the incorrect rates.
I already purchased a rental car, I already have family meeting me there for my birthday and now I am not sure what to do. The worst part is I went back to the groupon to see how much the price went up, and the rate increased from $86 per night to $377 per night.
For all of you looking to buy a vacation through groupon, imagine purchasing your family vacation, planning it, taking off work, only to find out that they decided to cancel your vacation on you two weeks later. It would leave you between spending a lot more money to go on the same trip you already priced out or doing nothing.

“I bought Groupon for a Bowling Place. It went out of business as soon as I bought it and I contacted Groupon to refund me the money. After many emails back and forth, they still continued refusing me the money and I finally had to contact American Express for a refund, which I promptly received. I don't trust Groupon anymore and have stopped using it completely.”

“I ordered an item thru Groupon and it was set to be delivered the next week. As soon as the item got to my city, instead of delivering it to my house they delivered it (with VERY late notice) to one of the post offices in my city (have no idea which one). There was no delivery attempt (My husband was home by the way). So, there was no ticket on the door or anything. I got home at 8pm, at which time I got a text saying, "unable to deliver??" I open the text and got Fed Ex message saying in red, "P.O. Box package available for pickup at local post office???" WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY TAKING ABOUT!!! I don't even own a P.O. Box, so why couldn't they deliver it??? I contact Fed Ex only to find that it was the Groupon seller that requested this. I have absolutely no idea why. By the way at the time I am writing this I still have no idea which post office it was sent to and will likely have to wait until the weekend to go get it since they close before I can get out of work. And somehow the Fed Ex rep doesn't even know which post office location "They" sent it to. That doesn't even make sense!!! So, now I have to call the post office's 800# so they can find out which one it got sent to. What is really going to tick me off...is if it's the post office literally 1 minute from my house, they may as well have delivered it to me and not the post office. I am HEATED!!!!”
