“I ordered a basic smart watch for work, to use the features on the watch such as push notifications it tells you to download a free apk app, once I did that my phone was inundated with pop up ads INCLUDING PORN. Do not install the free app!!!”

“I ordered something on November 26th. I received notifications until Dec. 1 when it was just stuck on being processed. Then, I checked my order again on Friday and it says my package was delivered to a mailbox in West Grove, PA when I live in NYC. I've sent them three emails telling them that I am not interested in the item anymore and wish to receive a full refund and still no answer. Never buying from here again.”

“Bought a local car detailing groupon. Called several times to make the appointment but noboday ever answer the phone. And noboday calls back after leaving messages. After 12 days I had no choise but turned back to Groupon for refund. They only gave me a refund of Groupon credit, which was void by Groupon now. Contacted Groupon customer service by email but no reply.”

“Great prices but delivery problems on 3 orders. Further problems with getting a response from email and when finally confirmed non delivery of one order was only offered Groupon credit. As this item was £179.00 I requested refund to my debit card and after several phone calls have now been granted this. Still waiting for it to appear in my bank. When it works with Groupon it's fine but when it doesn't it is difficult!”

“My wife made a reservation in error, partly because there is no "cart" she clicked on something and accidently booked a hotel room she was only considering. The reservation was for the next day, and Groupon told her sorry, it was outside of the 48 hour window to cancel since it was for the next day. She explained it was a mistake made just an hour ago, they did not care, nor did they offer any hope of a solution. I chatted with them and an agent told me he would contact their "escalation" team. Never heard anything back with any type of decision. Called the hotel to explain and they referred her back to Groupon. Useless!”

“The person wouldn't accept the Groupon coupon even though she cancelled the appointment 3 times. It had expired by 2 days due to her. She said she would honor it. The end of the spa treatment comes to an end go to pay, she says this is expired. Long long story short...She made me pay for the treatment...couldn't get a refund from Groupon because it had expired. To add salt to the injury had to 2 spa treatments on the certificate, the lady says I will give you the deluxe for the price of the 2 spa treatments...So paid for the deluxe. Ended up costing about $200 between the Groupon and the spa bill.”

“I ordered an ipad air 32GB refurbished, at a price 0f £254 , this arrived a few days later in a jiffy bag in a box. I open the box and took out the ipad from the jiffy bag, my heart sank! the screen was badly scratched and there was a 2 inch crack on the screen, this was in no way a refurbished ipad! I returned it straight away and am waiting for a refund. This was not damaged in transit but was sent out as was,.I now understand why products are so cheap on Groupon!”

“They are sometimes good, sometimes not. They will occasionally double charge you, and it's usually for large orders. It's a great way to try out new things and food, but their site and customer service keep getting worse and worse. Basically, if they screw anything up (which happens often), they will do nothing to fix it. So if you are willing to risk it, it may just work out super well for you. But then again, it may not.”

“Led star light projector. Groupon advertise the led star light projector available in 3 colours blue, purple and pink. 11.99 with 1.99 delivery If you want more than one of the same colour it’s still 1.99 delivery, but if you wish to order two of different colours they require you to order separately and pay 1.99 delivery for each. After contacting groupon through live chat to explain the purchase page doesn’t contain an option to purchase multiple colours for one delivery charge. They agreed and said I would have to pay delivery for each single purchase offering little to no help whatsoever with no intention of making any changes to the purchase page or even offering some sort of discount to cover the multiple delivery charges I would have to pay due to their poor purchase page set up. Thanks groupon”
