I ordered my parts online for collection. Click and Collect order not Collected # 100288352 yet I got an email saying it was not collected. It was collected, but the store made a mess of the order and then deleted it from the system. They then had to redo the order through their own system which took an absolute age. I was in the store for 15 minutes for something that should have taken 2 minutes. When the new order was placed, the price was wrong compared to that click and collect order that I had placed. Eventually I got my parts at the price I had ordered online, but it was a complete mess of a transaction.

Parts arrived as scheduled, however, one items box had been opened and an item removed prior to packing...I called and another unit was sent out..but again packaging broken.

Firstly, half of my order went missing on the day of my MOT. Then had to go in store to by my items and was given the wrong item for my car which wasted even more of my day. The extra star simply goes towards decent prices. Very poor.

Due to the nature of the items you ordered, we did pack the fragile items separate, having checked our system i can see it was all shipped, i can only presume the parcels have been separated in the postage system. Despite electronic confirmation that Part was in stock and ready for collection, when I went to pick it up from Branch I was informed that it had been sold and there were no others available in any branches or warehouse!! Wasted my time and a gallon of fuel ! Disappointing service and very poor communication.

Obviously the value of a car battery will not be verifiable for a number of years. So all I can review is the "fitting" experience. Having replaced the original battery I found my new purchase to be extremely loose in its mounting. The problem was that the base was too thin, so the clamp did not make contact with the projection on the base, even when fully screwed down. My solution was to put a rubber pad under the battery to raise the vital base projection. After a hundred miles : So far, So good !

Hello Gerald, Thank you for your review. A lot of batteries that have a plastic bracket used to assist clamping the battery in place. Some of these because of their more universal nature have an additional plastic spacer that can be used to raise the height of this mount or removed according to the specific vehicle's battery mounting bracket. It sounds like in this case, it was not on your battery. If you would like us to supply one for you, we would be happy to. Staff unhelpful not interested in customer satisfaction . Product not arrived as stated it had via email took another 24 hours to arrive staff argued it's my fault for coming in without checking my email which I am able to do without technical support

You cancelled the order because I didn't pick it up on a bank holiday Monday when you were shut. So I went elsewhere and saved £19.00 on the part. Thanks Gsf.

Hi, All orders over the Bank Holiday were held for an additional 24hrs to allow customers to collect the goods. There was a small technical issue which lead to reminder emails being sent out on Monday, we are currently looking into this matter. Thanks Matt - GSF

Catalytic converter approximately 1.5metre long was packed in 6 small boxes along its length but not bound up along its length only across its width hence the boxes parted and the catalytic converter was damaged in transit... GSF Birmingham was contacted who lied and said that there was only one left within the company and that they were not going to have any more due to them discontinuing it, I ask for the damaged one to be collected and another to be delivered to me, the GSF staff who I spoke to said they would organize this but deliberately did not so GSF Birmingham was contacted again 2 days later and another GSF staff member apologised for the catalytic converter not being picked up and assured me that GSF were still going to stock the catalytic converter and more new stock was going to be delivered to them on Monday so he would get the damaged one picked up from me immediately and another posted out as soon as delivery to them... I do not appreciate being lied to, ignored, disregarded and disrespected. I have only dealt with GSF Leicester before this happened but this order was dealt with by Birmingham.

Hi, Thank you for your review. I am sorry the item arrived damaged, this has been passed to our warehouse management team so appropriate action and amendments can be made to the way such items are packed. The catalytic converter ordered is a clearance line, we are no longer stocking this unit. A collection was booked with Parcelforce on the arranged date to collect the unit ready for exchange. You spoke to my colleague on your second call who stated we had one available and another unit due in on special order, this line is discontinued, hence the clearance price you purchased it at. Ordered what I thought was one pair of nrske discs only to be told I should hve ordered 2 as they cant supply 1!. Manager in Lincoln store ignorant in fact wouldn't employ any of staff there!

I received an e-mail stating that my order was ready for collection.I travelled 18 mls. to Basingstoke only to be told they couldn't find it and they needed more information. The next morning that my order had been found, which I then collected.This means I had travelled 56 mls.

The branch where your reservation is placed should always call you (provided a telephone number is left) to let you know you items are ready for collection in addition to the email. This also means that if there is any delay in locating the item in store, you should be aware before you set out. One pack of the parts are missing the rubber mounts, phoned Tuesday am to report the short fall, Friday am correct part still not arrived, the car is off the road awaiting these parts. First time I have had any issues with this service.

Had to wait 20 minutes in shop for a wiper blade as the two tills had one person being served. NO one even said be with you in a minute or anything and 5 people sat out back not looking busy. Rubbish service

I looked up a car battery using my car REG on the GSF website and the one produced by the system and went to pick up on click and collect was totally wrong. Wrong size and wrong type.
