Purchased a can of holts egr carb cleaner. After 30% off online the price came to 3.97. After arriving to collect i noticed them on the shelves priced at 4.08 ! When collecting i paid with a 10.00ote and only received 6 pounds back because you had no change. The whole process is a con from online pricing to collection.

Hi, Thank you for your review. Store prices will occasionally differ from that of the prices on our website. GSF often run in-store promotions across the network or on a store by store basis. Ordered the parts online, it said they could be collected the next day, great! Went to store, parts missing from the order, the lad on the counter offered to drop them off in the van which was nice. I needed them that day, they came a few days later, I have had to wait another 8 days to find the time to fit the parts. Making life hard work with a car. I should of cancelled the order and got them elsewhere.

I ordered a set of ht leads the staff were great but the product was supposed to have a pulse lead attach as shown both online and in store and it didn't I tried Nottingham and Huddersfield both same problem I had to buy from another supplier as vehicle was VOR

Bought and paid for Hengst oil frilter and ended up with a cheap and chearful brand i have never heard of.

Staff very rude and did not acknowledge me at all. One cashier was on the phone while I stood there and walked off. Very bad service so I'd rather go elsewhere.

Bought an item using the Click & Collect choice at my local GSF store. Arranged for next day collection. Travelled 4 miles to find they had the wrong part for dispatch. Their only response was "Looks like the box has been wrongly marked up". There was no evidence of any words like "Sorry" or some such, just the information that it would take two days for the correct part to appear. I asked where the overnight room was as I intended on staying. They had no reply: just a blank stare. I returned home and two days later returned to the store. Overall I covered some 16 miles using up petrol and my time for which there was no refund of any sort.

The lady I spoke to was rude from the moment I got there, this was the first time I went to this store and expected better service. She wasn't polite, looked miserable and wouldn't let me use my card as payment, very unprofessional, however, I cannot fault the online booking of the part and the part itself, quick and easy, just a shame a staff member let it down

I bought a switch that seemed to work ok but now glows all the time the ignition is on. I have not returned it because of the work involved to dismantle the centre console. Just annoying

I ordered this part [an expensive car battery] online with collection for the following day. No problem, the website said there was one in stock so I reserved it. Went all the way across to the opposite side of town, some 7 miles, gave the printout of the reservation to the man serving, to be told he couldnt find it. No apology, just "you'll have to come back at 1:30pm when I can get one in", still no apology. Drove all the way home and drove all the way back at 1:30pm, to be then told it hadnt come in. Again no apology. I protested that Id driven up there twice and asked if it could be delivered. I was asked where I live and upon saying I was told "wed ont deliver to home addresses" which made me wonder why he asked where I live!! After waiting 15 minutes as I was told it was coming in any minute it did finally arrive. The lack of apology and the attitude of 'thats the way it is' was not good.

Staff at the branch were very helpful, but your web site is appalling. If you are really intending to drive web sales than you need to start again with a useable and fully working web site.

We had a third-part error with the website last week, our server host had internal issues causing GSF to loose access to it's website along with many other websites hosted by the same company. Exhaust was poor quality even though it said made in the UK . The connection flange was welded out of line. On a positive note the item was returned and a full refund given with out problem.

Hi, Thank you for your review, i presume the item purchased was the A2A brand? A2A is one of the top exhaust suppliers on the market, they offer a market leading 3year warranty on their products as apposed to the normal 1year. On this occasion i can only presume there has been an issue during production, i am sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks Matt

I ordered wing mirrors for my audi a3 2011 plate and typed in my reg plate which said the wing mirror would fit my car. However when i turned up they found out it was the wrong one and it only fit 2003-2008 models. Waste of time!

The online order was fine, as were the parts themselves. However when going to the Lincoln branch to pick them I i stood there for 20 minutes while the staff sat about chatting and ignoring me. I was the only customer in the branch so there was no rear excuse.

ordered the parts online for collection in leicester, all parts showing in stock,made a 30 mile round trip to collect and 1 item out of stock so had to go back following day
