I went to the shop in Birmingham to collect my order just to be told that brake disks are not sold in packs but single, when I thought I was buying a pack online - not clear enough what you are buying. So I said I will get 2 but the price will be without the online discount, so I said I will order another one online over the phone which I did but the guy forgot to tell me that the order will take an hour to come through and I need to wait. what a crap customer service! In a normal situation the price should be matched to the online one and the customer shouldn't be waiting for an hour to get this sorted, but the guy over the counter had a bad day and was very unpleasant almost rude. that is how you lose customers, thank you.

Hello and thank you for your review. While we price discs singly, we have a notification on every brake disc in red text to state that you should add two to the basket to buy a pair. Any order that is placed via the web for click and collect should take no longer than 10 minutes to reach the branch. We will look into the time delay for your order. I tried to use the discount code when collecting the parts, but shop staff refused to apply the code. Discount codes are not worth it.

I ordered an Engine oil filter and Fuel filter for my car. Alas only fuel filter was sent. I had to ring and report this, Oil filter then sent.Recd Friday. Not Impressed

The website is a nightmare to use and the parts not listed.' The staff at Leamington branch were great and resolved the problem but I had a 50 mile round trip to collect the parts as they do not do parcel post. Volvo XC90 front brakes not very easy to take old parts to match and drive 50 miles had to borrow a car.

I usually receive a weekly email with special offers from GSF but as per usual, the website is very hard to understand and to use. This is the second time that I've ordered a part for my car and it has turned out to be the wrong part yet again. Also, I ordered my part on the Sunday afternoon and it finally arrived on Saturday. This was via 2nd Class post but it isn't good enough. The website, in my opinion needs to be totally revamped and the deliveries timescales need to be looked at. I'm not usually that bothered about things like this but after this 2nd experience, I don't think that i will be using gsf again unless I see a dramatic change in their website experience.

Hi, Thank you for your review, if you are repeatedly getting the wrong part this would indicate an issue with the vehicle identification on our site, or an issue where the product fitment criteria is not clear enough. If you can please send the vehicle registration to reviews@gsfcarparts.com, we will look into this for you. The delivery times on the website are correct, your order placed on Sunday 31/07/16 was dispatched Monday 01/08/2016, we would expect Royal Mail to deliver within 2-3 working days in most cases. On some occasions there may be an unforeseen logistical delay, unfortunately GSF have no control over this. Thanks Matt - GSF

Order was correct and dispatched quickly and parts are good quality. However they were sent to my billing address not my delivery address so didn't receive them till the weekend. The last time I ordered from gsf I had the same problem but asumed it was my mistake but I made sure to double check the delivery address this time.

Ordered on line then day later mail to say out of stock and would take another 14 days to come. Did mail back and got another product which still took 5 days from order. So they were not as good as they usually are.

The part listed and applied for my car didn't fit I ended up ordering a genuine part that ended up to be same price and fit no problem

Thank you for your review. We often display choices of the same type of part for vehicles. This is down to trim level of your vehicle, optional extras when the car was built, etc. Obviously in these instances, we would always advise you to either contact us for advice on getting the correct part or look at the part on your vehicle to establish which option is correct. Going for the first or cheapest product will end up in incorrect parts being ordered for your particular vehicle. GSF car parts are top quality but the online web site is far too messy to use. I took my order into the Reading shop and was told I couldn't, have the discount offered online in the shop! Because I had not ordered the right number of discs (my mistake but easy to do on this web site) I was told I would have to cancel the order and then buy at the counter for a smaller discount! I have to say the bloke in the shop wasn't at all helpful. I went back home and then reordered the parts for collection at the Slough branch, altogether a much more helpful bloke and I got the discount offered in your email. I fitted the parts at the weekend and they are great, top quality discs and pads but please sort out some customer service training for people who think we are idiots!

Purchased rear os brake caliper, for 59 Honda Jazz. using number plate search. Handbrake cable fixing point did not match, had to use other supplier! However, staff were polite and happy to provide refund.

Your website isn't very clear regarding promotions, I was offered 30% off however when I got to the checkout the discount wasn't added even though they weren't service items that I purchased.

Hi, The 30% discount applies to everything on the website, the only exclusions are clearance lines and fitted car mats. The code has to be entered manually at the checkout, it is not automatically applied. My delivery from Uk to Italy took 8 days - this is unreasonable in 2016 where courier services routinely take 2-3 days to deliver. The GSF delivery notes say "Please note, no deliveries will be made on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday regardless of delivery service selected." - that does not say that traffic is halted totally over weekends - only that it may not be DELIVERED. You do not offer an enhanced delivery service for overseas. I shall not be using GSF again after this experience - your main competitor offered the same product at 40% less and delivered in 3-4 working days.

Hi, Thank you for your comments. I have spoken to our courier manager and usually they expect parcels to be with you within 4-6 days depending on your area. In this case the parcel took 4 days to get to Italy via Germany, it was then the delivery was subject to a unforeseen 48hr delay. Both GSF and Parcelforce are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Brake pads were incorrectly listed for volvo v70 so had to return.

Hello Robert, Thank you for your comments. Looking at the pads you ordered, we can see that there is a choice of pads for your vehicle. The ones you ordered are compatible for a Volvo V70 but are not compatible for your vehicle. Where we give choices, there will only one option which is correct for your specific car so if at all unsure which one to go for, we would always recommend contacting us to help get the correct option first time for you, thus avoiding wasted trips. Very varied staff attitudes. First chap I dealt with (Peter) was very friendly and helpful. Second chap (who's name I didn't catch) was awful, told me that things I've seen on the website weren't available "we don't sell those" and didn't appear to care that I was trying to buy things as he wanted to go home. I've been in the motor trade for over 25 years, run and maintain a fleet of 100+ cars, but will continue to shop elsewhere after my last experience at GSF.

Times of delivery is ok, but packing brake pads in the same box with cabin filter (only in polywrap) is very bad idea. Complain because damaged - bent.

Incorrect part delivered. A quick check of the part packaging against the description of the part ordered would have avoided unnecessary return.
