Good prices for the parts but unable to buy online and collect from my local Norwich store due to the website not working. Rang the Norwich shop but the lady stated that a number of customers had complained about the website and they cannot accept the order over the phone as the online business is separate company.

Very disappointed in the quality of your engine parts and I have become increasing concerned about the quality of other service items and parts. Supply and deliver was great but after sales very poor still waiting for phone call to arrange return and evaluation of failed parts. Poor staff attitude when discussing problem. I will stick to local motor factor in the future. I am not a fitter or mechanic. I am time served motor engineer with over 25 years experience. I expected better.

My goods didn't arrive, and only found out they'd been returned to depot by making my own enquiries. To compound the issue the online site did not recognise my email address. I will now have to wait indefinitely for a refund...

Hello Ian, Thank you for your comments. You email address is not recognized by our website because you did not register to make your purchase, you made your purchase as a guest checkout so your details are not retained. Our goods are dispatched via courier to the address given at the checkout. Delivery has been attempted but unfortunately there was nobody in to accept the parcel. After a couple of attempts at delivery, your parcel has been returned to us. Please contact us at reviews@gsfcarparts.com to let us know if you would like us to resend your parcel or refund when it is back in our warehouse. Signed up to the newsletter for 30% discount, parts wern't in stock in local branch for click and collect and website wouldn't let me order them into local branch. So I sent my brother into nearest branch to collect the order and they didn't apply the discount. Emailed cust services and no reply. So thanks a lot! Never had problem with my local (Daventry) branch, but the online system is a pain!

Hello Paul, Your order was placed as a ship to store order so would have been available for collection the next working day after the order was placed. We will only allow a click and collect order to be placed at a branch if they are showing stock of the whole order you require. This order which has been collected had your discount applied to it so we are not sure if there was something else you required which was out of stock in branch and our distribution center. If you contact us at reviews@gsfcarparts.com with clarification we may be able to help you. Items that are out of stock in branch and distribution center cannot be back ordered. booked goods through click and collect which was on offer. Phoned to say will collect in three days as one of the products was not in stock but the message was not filtered through and the stock was put back. The offer price was not honored because it was a weekend special so had to go to another supplier to get it.

Ordered a replacement mirror glass( self adhesive),Service was good part turned up within a couple of days but did not fit properly and as a result has fallen off and broken, waste of money

Ordered Bosch wipers, Valeo arrived. When I spoke to customer services they said they are same and had to make do with the cheaper part when I paid for the premium part.

We can assure you that Valeo blades are in no way poorer in quality than the equivalent Bosch blades, both suppliers being suppliers of OE quality parts. I purchased a clutch kit from GSF online and had it sent direct to my mechanic. It arrived damaged and my mechanic advised it would need replacing. Took it to my local branch who refused to exchange it, so I had to pay for another kit and a courier collected the damaged one. I've still not been refunded for the damaged clutch.

Your in terms of delivery is excellent. BUT your service in terms of product detail and staff is very poor. I used your web site - put in my car registrations. Got the details right- ordered some wiper blades what arrived did not fit the car and worse what was said to be in the box was not. Phoned your returns line and made to feel "thick" by your staff member who told me I should interrogated your system more to arrive at the correct product. I was told to return the incorrect product for credit and place a new order the the correct type. No offer to help on line was given. I had to insist that he should take the order on the phone. Very reluctantly he did----- I had ask for a discount code which again he did in bad mood. Got the replacement product and all is well. Would use your company again------- most unlikely. Still waiting for credit on the original order.

1 item was folded in half to fit in box and obviously totally destroyed, by the packers. Not the couriers. If it don't fit in box, get a bigger box. Don't bend!! Not much information about delivery, it just arrived. However everything else was good.

Delivery was attempted three times for this parcel, the tracking now shows a signature against it and one box may be coming back to us. The wing mirror glass was described as RH or LH. This made it hard reserving as I wasn't sure what was OS or NS. The photo for the LF looked like my glass on the OS. So I ended up reserving the wrong side. Because I had reserved the wrong side, the cashier wanted me to pay full price for the other side as my 35% discount only applied to the side I resverved. I found him a bit rude, he did give me it on trade price only after I said I would reserve an order for the other side and wait. "Well that can take at least another half hour or so" he said. I don't think he wanted me hanging about, so I got it on trade at just a quid more than my original reservation. He made me feel like it was my fault for the mistake though. The photo was wrong and the description was confusing.

I recently ordered some items online with click and collect and used the coupon code gsfcp43, to my disappointment all you have done is put your prices up by that amount to be reduced back to normal retail prices. As I went to collect my items which wasn't at a local store but 15 miles away I noticed one of the items on the shelf at the same price as my alleged discounted price. Not only do I feel cheated i am very disappointed as an avid petrol head I use GSF for majority of all my needs and I now just don't want to use you and will be posting my proof on all the forums I am a member on see everyone is aware of what you are doing.

Hi Raj, Thank you for your review. Pricing structures vary from store's to the online market, they have to compete in different markets. Some items are going to be cheaper in store than online and some items the store will not be able to sell as cheap as the website. Thanks Matt - GSF

I placed an on-line order for collection from the Heathrow branch, but they did not recognise my order number and suggested that I contact the GSF on-line ordering centre at Birmingham, which I did. When I spoke to someone from Birmingham, they said that the order number was recognised on their system. I then telephoned the Heathrow branch and the person that I spoke to said that the order number was still not recognised on their system.

I reserved some gearbox oil to collect in store to take advantage of the 43% June discount offer. When I went to pick it up I saw it on the shelf cheaper than I was paying with no discount. This made me realise that the Internet prices are inflated so that you can offer a large discount. Very disappointed with this an I will be much more careful next time and will shop around more.
