Having ordered brake pads to go with new discs I ordered I had the sense to ask if they were compatible only to be told no and the right ones were then supplied. I was totally unable, on the website to chose which pads I required and no help was available so I chose a set only to find they were wrong, If I haven't have asked I would have travelled 150 miles to my son house only to find that they were wrong, when someone buys a set of discs Pad sets should be linked to the Discs please don't blame my inexperience as whilst I was at your depot an AA man had to return a set also as the wrong ones had been supplied your staff at the site were excellent and helpful its your website that is at fault.

The complex nature of identifying parts for vehicles does not make it a simple matter to do what you suggest, this is why we list all the possible alternatives for a vehicle and in the case of discs and pads, have a clear instruction that there are more than one type listed there is a choice "There is more than one front pad option for this vehicle, if unsure which type you require, please contact us". bought set of ht leads which are supposedly for a vw t25 but one is so short and so tight once fitted that not getting spark.would return but invoice says will not accept electrical parts once fitted

Hi, Thank you for your review and sorry to hear about your issue. GSF are happy to accept electrical items back once fitted, to do this you need to speak to the store and obtain a warranty form and they will have the products inspected. Thanks Matt @ GSF

Wrong order given even after asking if it's the right part for my car went back and found given someone else's order

i ordered on line the correct parts according to car reg , but when i started to put the parts in found they were wrong so went to change 1st wrong part and replace it, i then found the 2nd part wrong and had to do the same again . not very happy

Ordered stuff online with there special offer discounts which is very good.However the sump nut and washer was totally inferior to the genuine item.I have had a nightmare draining oil several times before putting old nut back in.Never again.

I ordered online and unfortunately the system got screwed up. I was told I could pick up my order on Tuesday 21st then had a message on Monday 20th saying 'Why hadn't I picked up my order'. Went to the store on Monday 20th and they said 'What are you doing here ! Maybe tomorrow'. On Tuesday 21st I went to the store, order had been cancelled. Cock up !

I reserve 6 spark plugs and they ware available in chadwell heath,next day when i was to collect them , surprise , they have only 2 on stock

Young lady that served me did not want to be at work. The wheel bearings i bought were faulty and i still haven't had time to take them back.

Made an order on 07/02/2017 and still not received the product. I've asked for an update on 10/02/2017 and I've been told that the product is on its way and it will get delivered on the same day. I was at home all day, no one came to deliver. On 14/02/2017 I've asked again for any update and I got a response back that there was a delivery attempt on 10/02/2017 but I was not home (not true!) and if I want to get a refund or re-delivered.

I ordered a pair of drop links and was given two different parts which was only picked up on when the boxes were opened and ready to fit. Not good.

Hi, Sorry to hear about the issue with your order. I can only presume this was due to a warehouse issue within the branch, if you call the branch quoting your invoice number, i am sure they will get this resolved with the minimum of hassle. Thanks Matt @ GSF

Ordered online, had to wait an hour before picking up presumably this was to prepare order, arrived hour later then the person behind the counter whom I can only describe as sullen started to prepare the order making me feel like an inconvenience.

You are quite correct in the fact we allow an hour for the order to be picked and time to contact the customer should an issue arise. After placing my order, I awaited for confirmation of dispatch, after two days and still nothing I emailed and ask if someone could look into my order. I received a reply only stating it would be dispatched that day and Delivery was for the following day, which I had not requested so it was obvious it had been mislaid.. this is only the second time I have used GSF, the first time was a store collection but there was no stock even though they where reserved for collecting, and I had to go back 2 days later to collect. And I was offered a 10% managers discount which I never took and don't intend too. So would You use GSF....

Hi, Thank you for your review. I can see your most recent order placed late on the 29th was delivered on the 1st . Our free delivery service is usually the next working day upto 2 working days form the point of dispatch, which due to your order time was the 30th. This means delivery was within the time frame detailed on the website. I ordered Autosol and have sent Peek chrome cleaner which is a cheaper product so you have not supplied what was ordered ANd PAID FOR

We changed supplier because Peek offers excellent cleaning properties and at fantastic value for money. Valeo OE headlamps - I ordered a pair of these, rather than a cheaper (lesser) Far Eastern brand. The Valeos were shown to be available on the selection page, and I applied the weekend discount promo code. What arrived at the store was the lesser brand. There was no contact regarding this substitution, and I was not offered a price reduction. Telecon with Head Office informed 1) under their T & C's they had a right to substitute parts 2) there were no Valeos in group stock. I declined to go through with this `click and collect' purchase - and I would now think very carefully about mail order to my door :-(

There is no intention to mislead our customers as occasionally we infill stock from alternative sources and by doing so are not always able to offer a discount when brands do not match. Before I bought the clutch kit i rang to make sure it was a full three piece kit and was told yes it was. When it arived there was no thrust bearing , so i rang and was told that i was miss informed and that they were not prepared to gove me one , however they would sel me one at a discount. But that wasn't the point i had a mechanic waiting to fit the cluch so couldn't wait for it to be delivered so had to go and buy one. The clutch its self was ok but the service is very poor.

I needed to order a clutch and used your online ordering service, but the transaction timed out, having received no email confirmation I repeated the order later in the day but the same thing happened, checking my bank account that evening no payment appeared so the next day I ordered online again, this time for collection in your local outlet in Harlow, I went there and bought and paid for the required item. Two days later I received delivery of two further clutches which I now have to return and claim a refund. All rather time consuming and inconvenient.

Unfortunately the items were listed wrong so I received the wrong year brake springs, wasn't worth the bother of returning. Purchased correct ones elsewhere.
