In a day and age where you can get most goods next day the delivery time was over four days. But on the positive side it was the best priced!!

Hi, Thank you for your review. Your order placed on 02/1/17 was shipped on 03/1/17 due to the new year closure. The courier attempted to deliver on 04/1/17 but was unable to obtain a signature from anyone, the good were then returned to the depot for delivery again. Had to wait in for half a day after making phone calls for the pick up of the wrong items delivered and also wait a number of days to finally receive the right one.

I wanted, on this occasion, to buy just a pair of wiper blades for a VW Golf III. Your website listed only the passenger side blade, but not the driver's side. This meant that I had to go to my local branch (Finchley) in order to check whether or not they were both available, and to get the part numbers in order to fulfil the 'Click & Collect' facility; then return home and order them; then go back to Finchley to pay and collect! What a complete waste of time! Why send me emails offering attractive discounts if the service is not there to back it up?

Hi, Thank you for your review. I am sorry if the item you was looking for was not clearly visible on the website, we suggest when you have a enquiry such as this you call the website sales team or use the online chat facility where possible to get a quick answer. Any GSF store should be able to provide the part numbers you need over the phone, you can then search them on our website, or in your case where you visited the store, you can place the click and collect order on site as it only takes a few minutes to appear on the screen, overall saving wasted time or trips! no chip and pin machine working for two days! Staff not very friendly Very slow to be served despite me being the only customer in the branch

The service was good, unfortunately for me the price I paid was expensive, even excessive. I later discovered that I could have got the parts for £40 less elsewhere!

The ordering process was fine. But if you want to waste some time then head on down to the Mile Cross branch and hang out at the counter for 15 minutes while the guy on the counter is busy with another customer and 4 other employees sit behind him in the office having a laugh with each other

I ordered a pair of Bosch wiper blades which were supposedly in stock. When l called to collect, the blades offered were not Bosch and not even a matching pair! One was a Hella and the other was Valeo and they were noticeably a different colour to each other. First and last time I've used GSF. Never again

Thank you for your review. As both the equivalent Hella and Valeo wiper blades are all on separate part numbers, it is obvious that the branch were trying to help you when they found they had a stock discrepancy on their Bosch products. As you are not happy with the result, we would recommend contacting the branch and get them to swap the blades you received for the Bosch ones which they may have to order in. Ordered several items using black Friday discount code. Main thing I wanted was redox petrol treatment. (Reason for order). Was shown in stock at West Thurrock. Went to collect and was out of stock. Waste of my time.

Hello Alan, Thank you for your comments. We dispatched your order on time and by the 2nd class delivery option as per at checkout. It is highly unusual for a delivery to take that long and apologize for the delay which is out of our hands. Additional time can be taken with these larger items that are too big to post through the letter box as someone needs to be at home to accept the parcel. Out of the thousands of parcels we dispatch by this method, very few take longer than three days in total. The delivery address was not recognised. That was fair enough but instead of contacting me by e-mail or phone a message was left on the bottom of the order. It was only when I logged on a week later to find out where my order was that I noticed the message. If I hade been sent an e-mail or a text message then I would have got my order a week earlier.

This occurs when we comment within our web management software. This could be due to your spam filter on your email. We will also check to make sure the email was sent correctly from our servers. Ordered online but selected wrong store to pick up. When arrived at store they would not supply goods at reserved price because I had put down wrong store. This was despite having email etc

Unfortunately this reserves stock at your chosen branch and we are unable to switch branches once the order has been placed. Stock meant to be on shelf and was not there. Had to go back next morning(another 20 mile round trip) While there decided to order another part but was told it was not in stock.

ordered parts online to pick up at the Swindon store on website on a Friday evening,said it was in stock, however the order could not be picked up until Tuesday. phoned Swindon store to see why this was and was told that the parts would not be in until Tuesday from the main warehouse. what's the point ordering parts if it said it was in stock at the local store but really they are not and you have to wait until parts come from main warehouse 3 or 4 days later.

Hi Steve, The order placed was a ship to store order, rather than a click and collect. Click and Collect will reference stock at your selected store and enable you to reserve the goods for collection within the hour. Ship to store will check stock at the main warehouse and show the collection date/time on screen, this allows customers to reserve otherwise unavailable stock at the usually discounted price. The website does provide all the relevant data at the checkout stage, I am sorry if you feel this is not clear, I will ensure the procedure Is reviewed and any appropriate revisions made. Matt - GSF
