first order no problems second order for brake shoes wrong part no for the year required thaught i was saving money but after traveling for a refund i was out of pocket

Great discounts given. Frustrating using the online search. Gives lots of different options that "could" fit my vehicle. Where other suppliers are more precise

First to say that any parts I have ordered online from GSF always are the best quality and fit and packaging is second to none. The only complaint I have is the wait for delivery is far too long compared to other suppliers and twice this has led to two of our vehicles being off the road for almost a week in the last year.

It is a very good thing that GSF send you emails (weekly) informing you that there is a 54% discount on everything for any particular weekend. The only thing is that the price for EVERY ITEM online varies dramatically to the price in store, it's rather more expensive online. Is that because they are trying to make the difference in a monetary way to cover the huge discount?

I ordered some brake pads on the click & collect option. I had an email straight away saying to collect on Tuesday. So far so good. On Monday morning I had an email telling me to collect my item and that it would only be held for 24 hrs. So I went to the store and they said it wasn't in stock until the Tuesday (as per the original email). So I had to make another trip on Tuesday to collect. Shortly after collecting my item I was sent another email saying that as I had not collected my item in time it was now being returned to the stores !! So parts / service in store was all great. However - Confusing / conflicting emails were not and cost me money/time and inconvenience in making a wasted trip.

Good website easy to order. But when i went to pick up my order i had to wait 20 min to be served and there was only one customer in front of me and his order can to 2.70 mmmm Please also sort walkins.

item was in stock, but only one person to serve, and he spent 20 minutes opening a trade account for the only other customer there! no other staff came to serve, so nice item, but let down by poor service

Rather annoyed that I bought filters online and have been given the wrong oil filter and I can't just exchange over the counter

Ordered wheel bearing online having entered my car reg to confirm it was a suitable one for my vehicle. Mechanic said it was wrong one! Called GSF and they advised me unfortunately their website doesn't always show compatible parts, however there internal database does. Sales Assistant was very helpful in finding me the right part, just a little annoyed that this meant car being stuck in the garage and extra day!

The website is designed to show parts suited to your line of vehicle, naturally, changes happen during in production and we have to cater for this by showing all possible options. In 99% of cases where there is more than one choice, we will list the fitment criteria along side the part to aid you in narrowing it down. Parts were well priced in the weekend discount, quick delivery, but I ordered 2 car batteries and four 1litre LHM fluid, the LHM were packed in sealed plastic bags but the placed on top of the batteries in the same box allowing the batteries to move. The batteries did not have there transport bungs in and were not in plastic bags so the battery acid leaked out, not nice for the delivery driver, and a mess that is not nice to clean up. Please GSF when sending out batteries put the transport bungs in and put the batteries in a sealed bag in a box of there own. Would have got 5stars if this had been done.

All batteries should be shipped in specialised packaging to prevent damage and spillage, there is no evident reason why your order was packaged in this manner. The parts were in stock according to website but were not at the store when I went to collect. Had to come back to store 2 hours or so later to get the parts

Having ordered a Bosch battery for my Volvo, I planned to collect it the next day. A mid morning phone call revealed it was not yet in stock but would be after 2 pm. Arriving at 3 pm I was offered a different battery as the Bosch had been dropped during unloading and was truly goosed. Everyone behind the counter, in unison, assured me the Yuasa replacement was a better battery, but it was noticeably taller. Taking great care not to damage the Yuasa, on my watch, it was installed with the minimum of clearance under the bonnet. Bearing in mind that No Good Deed Goes Unpunished, extra plastic insulation was added to each terminal to reduce any chance of an overhead short circuit. Proper job. Next day off to France, my P reg Volvo never missed a beat, laden 4 up and a big top box too. Big question, will this Yuasa last as long as the 9 years I got from the Bosch S4 ??? These modern batteries don't allow you to add EDTA, so that is progress is it ? James

Not happy! I ordered two items online, one of which didn't fit, even though the website showed it as compatible. Returned item to store, but could not get immediate refund as they had to return it to main depot, who are supposed to refund me in due course.
