“Online purchase of spare part (indicator bulb) pretty straightforward, not much different from anywhere else really, bit run of the mill; went to collect at store where staff members too busy chatting to pay attention to me when I arrived; somewhat impersonal & formulaic in terms of customer service, lacking any enthusiasm when I did get seen. Nothing special, really - all a bit dull, just average.”

“I ordered two tie rod ends, one left and one right. I received two tie rod ends but both were left. I contacted GSF by email and they sent out a new one which took three days to arrive. This new one is a left one too. Turns out there is a mistake in their box labelling. Annoying and now means i have to travel to purchase a ball joint i can actually use and i'm a week behind on this job.”

“Usually pretty good but recently used a discount code online to click and collect a water pump for £27 couldnt get till 2 days later and sold out then got email reminder to collect and back to £55 ??????? So gone elsewhere”

Hi, Click and Collect orders are only held until the end of the next working day, if not collected within the specified period we return the products back to stock for sale to other customers. If you can not make your collection within the specified period you need to inform the branch, providing there is no back order on the product they will be able to hold it for you. Thanks

“Not a big fan of gsf very rare do they supply the right part first time although on this occasion they got it right . Perhaps they have updated thier vehicle parts database, still thanks for my parts .”

“They stock more specific parts and are good value, my only complaint is the web pages,are difficult to use and unclear . I often give up with them and go to car parts for less,who,s web site is easier to navigate .”

“Website gave wrong parts, was not going to pay postage fee as it was your fault, phoned Birmingham, they said take it to my nearest shop for a refund. Shop not happy as this is not allowed, In the end I got refund. Come on sort these things out , poor website at times, god bless the poor shop staff.”

“I received my car battery 1 day later than planned,it was frustrating to stay in on the promised day and most of the next day.the goods arrived at the end of the second day well packed and in good order,i am promised a refund of postage costs”

“Ordered a battery online. Website advised delivery next day but when I rang to track order they advised delivery up to 48 hours after despatch, and my order hadn't been despatched yet. When the battery finally arrived, it was totally flat. Had to send it back and got a refund in 5 days.”

“3 different prices for the same product !!!.....product not listed on website but in stock at local GSF !! I got what i wanted at a good price in the end but the whole process was a bloddy nightmare.”

“Bought an accelerator cable for a 1994 mini. It was the only 1 listed on your website but it was incorrect. The other part listed are wrong too for example the air filter. It should be for a fuel injected model but you only stock parts do the older carbretor sytsem”
