GSF Swindon Branch I bought a car battery in May 2024 and unfortunately it has failed. I have checked the car and the alternator is charging at 14.2V and there is no significant parasytic drain (54 Milliamps) when the car is off. I took the battery back to the GSF store in Swindon where I originally purchased it. When I returned it they tested the battery and it failed but they said they needed to charge it overnight. They said they would let me know when it was ready but we need to move the car and my partner needs to use the car for work. So this morning when I was passing at about 10.00am I popped in. Their attitude was appalling and immediately got my back up! One of the staff told me that they would let me know when it was ready!! I know it doesn`t take that long to check a battery! It feels as though they are just being difficult and I don’t doubt I will now have to wait as long as they can drag it out for. I have been in customer facing roles most of my life and would never show the attitude I felt this morning. In the meantime my partner has to make alternative arrangements to travel the 14 miles to work and we can`t move the car. My advice buy your car parts elsewhere, you don`t need the attitude! Particularly when you have a problem.

Very disappointed about stuff in Southampton north shop, despite coming in the time of opening hours they closed the door early and I was denied entrance and collecting my order. Because of that I have to rearrange a lot of things which have been very costly and on top of that lost my customer. So thank you very much gsf southampton north for being a f..... w.....!!!!

Parts ordered online were not available on collection day the next day I was given the wrong part and had to return it on the third day. Total of 3 visits and waste of time. Very bad and tense atmosphere between employees. One person at the till. Queue from the door

Paid for next day delivery came 2 days later resulting in me having to cancel my garage appointment and having to wait another 2 weeks for a slot to get it back in feel I paid £6 extra for more grief. Won't use again.

Payed over 20 pound for next day delivery didn't receive it for a week an they gave me 5 pound back lol do not use this service

Second online order , first took a few weeks , second delivery only 2 of the 7 items delivered, customer service stated it was sent out in 2 seperate deliveries and that the system stated completed, but i am still missing 3/4 of the order.

Arrived and no one at the counter, and no buzzer or anything but no answer. Some members of staff (delivery drivers) walked past out the shopbut ignored the queue of 4 people at the till. After 12 minutes someone finally came out with no apologies or explanation. I won't be shopping here again

The delivery should taken 2/3 days but over 4 just because I have been in touch with them, otherwise, probably I waited a long time, and they did not even bother to make me aware of the delay. They apologize for the inconvenience created that it was an issue with the order.

Spoke to GSF to get the correct parts and after ordering were informed they were the wrong ones. The order was then cancelled and a new one placed by the GSF advisor. I received a package 2 days later with 4 of the 6 parts missing. Spoke to GSF again who said they’d reordered the parts and they would be with me next day. Next day nothing turns up and informed they were delayed, with them now due to arrive the day my car is booked in for repair. Had a notification from EVRI that they were out for delivery but on checking the notification they had entered the wrong address and postcode. I contacted EVRI who said only GSF could change the address. I spoke again to a GSF advisor who informed me he couldn’t do any thing and his suggestion was for me to travel to the other address to collect the package after delivery. I tried to explain to him that the address didn’t even exist and the postcode was for a farm in the middle of nowhere. He found it easier to just refund me rather than sort the problem. As a result I never received the parts, had to cancel the repair and will never use GSF again. Really awful from start to finish.

COMMUNICATION !!! Order acknowledged 2 couriers txt saying THEY will deliver ? You text a 24 hour delay - no reason. 2days later I call - NO ANSWER I send Chase email IGNORED Next day I call - NO ANSWER I Send 2nd Chase email. Wordy 3 paragraph apology - NO REASON GIVEN 8 days after order 2 boxes arrive - CAR BATTERY IS ON ITS SIDE IN SPECIAL BUT OVERSIZE (damaged) BOX Courier leaves box ON ITS SIDE despite Up Arrows - so battery inside is now UPSIDE DOWN and leaking acid into plastic bag !!!!!!!
