The sensor fits the car but doesn’t read the oil level

Website system worked before, no longer works as it should. I live next to GSF Basingstoke but had to order my parts to GSF Reading were they weren't able to be collected so ended up redirected to Basingstoke, The part box was destroyed but part looks in order. The team are really helpful but the website needs to be finished before you role it out or compatability between shops. What a ballache.

This was my first purchase which was a set of brake pads and disks the pads were fine but unfortunately the disks were the wrong size. I didn't have the opportunity to change them via GSF because my car was already in the garage so I had to opt for the garage supplying the disks. I took the original disks back to GSF and was offered a refund immediately. Not a great first experience but this slight hiccup wont deter me I appreciate that from time to time mistakes do happen and I will most definitely be using GSF again.

Your prices are very competitive compared to Euro Car Parts but you need a better online website more options available and easier to find parts as there is not much option example premium quality but you don't list the brand

Handy, only downside is all this premium brand and standard brand non sense. Just tell us the brand we buying otherwise we go elsewhere as not sure what you paying for.

The outer CV boot ordered did not fit the car thankfully the garage I used had one spare that we did a straight swap for other than that the parts where of good quality

Great prices but your computer system may need upgrading. I bought some brake pads for my car, drove 15 miles home to fit them only to find they were the wrong ones, now I have to do a 30 mile round journey to exchange them.

Online purchases usually work well. However I’ve had several bad experiences with branches where ive selected a click n collect, only to be told at the store that they don’t actually have any stock. In addition their Vetech branded stuff rarely lasts more than three years. Examples of this would be anti roll bar links and many rubber bushes. GSF used to be my number one goto twenty years ago but not anymore.

Wrong battery - left me stranded !! Despite entering the Registration of my car / correctly identifying model/ year / version - the battery supplied was WRONG ..the terminals were too far back to fit !! Returned replaced with an identical battery ( correct terminals ) but cost an extra £15 because chap in store “ could not match online price”... Annoying / disappointing / costly .. you decide !!

It's a little ridiculous that you only hold clock and collect orders for 24 hours... 48 at a push, screwfix hold your order for 30 days

In this instance GSF had the part I needed, a header tank for a 2004 Mercedes in stock at my local branch. But I'm disappointed they don't list the oil cooler which is a high failure rate item and the cause of my header tank needing replacement.

I went to GSF on two occasions, having the benefit of visiting both the Watford and Heathrow branches. Whilst I had no issues with the items themselves the service could do with improving. The first occasion to Watford I went to pick up a Click&Collect order after receivng notification it was ready to collect, yet the item was out of stock and I had to return later in the afternoon. That having said the "premium" part I received was of great quality/brand and price so nothing to fault from the product side. The second occasion I had to go to Heathrow to collect an item only stocked there. I arrived at 1.35PM only to be greeted by an extremely long queue and told by staff that I was unlikely to be served due to closing at 2PM. They mentioned this was a common occurrence. I appreciate there are limits to staffing and service during the pandemic but it would have been good to have some forethought from management to implement separate queues for Click&Collect and onsite orders rather than having everyone in the same queue, creating extremely unpredictable wait times. Also, I think rather than simply telling people to come earlier to imply it's the customer's fault I don't think GSF are blameless here. They should perhaps consider revising their opening hours to meet demand. One would expect to be served during opening hours. I can understand if you arrive a minute before close but 20-30 mins before is not unreasonable. I don't think I will visit their Heathrow branch again if I'm going to have to contend with a ridiculous queue.

Went on line to order a part, a oil pressure sensor I put in my registration. Ordered the part, when I went to fit it , it was wrong part. Your staff at Chelmsford were great they only supplied me with the part that was ordered through your website. So I cannot complain about them. It must be a fault on your website.

I’ve been using GSF since they started up as the prices are really good and often they have parts that are difficult to get elsewhere. However I’ve had a few issues lately with new parts (Usually sensors) that are faulty out of the box. I know this is down to manufacturers rather than GSF but it is a problem when you have to do the work twice

The website and service were good. I had the BREMI ABS/wheelspeed sensor fitted by a garage, but it didn't fix the problem. I tried another garage and they fitted a Mercedes part and it worked ok. So the BREMI part would not do what it said and it cost me the first garage visit, not their fault, as I supplied the part. I still have the supplied part and the box, so it would at least be nice to have it refunded. I could send it back and I can substantiate with Bills. Many thanks
