Purchased magnetic P plates. Item is fine and good quality but despite numerous attempts website says item not found. In the end searches gsf P plates using google and it gave me item on gsf own website. Need to improve search facility on website.

Ordered parts via web-site, went to collect next day 4pm...(it said on order form parts would be ready to collect from Monday 9am)....Only to be told 'not in stock', and had been ordered from Birmingham. Recieved no phone call or e-mail to advise me of this. Two days later got an e-mail saying parts would only be held for 24hours (wife had a minor hospital op on thursday so I couldn't collect). Finally collected my parts Friday. Fair to say it's not the best service I've ever had.......

A few times the parts have been wrong on the web site when come to fit then having to go back to store and then sort out the problem. But the main part is the time waiting at the store to be served then the wait for the goods to be picked and brought to you.

Excellent product, excellent price, excellent delivery. Poor IT interface and IT customer support. Wasn’t able to log in to progress my order. No response when seeking to change/lost password. Used ‘live chat’ who provided delivery update and IT support email. 10 days on, no response, still can’t log in, won’t be able to place anymore orders ..... Then you have the audacity to seek a Review! Your fault it’s not 5*

After placing an order online I didn’t receive them after ringing Gsf Trafford I wasn’t given the relevant information which left me disappointed, after ringing back and asking questions to get more information I rang the Birmingham branch which were really helpful and reordered my parts straight away....my point is..it should of been explained on my 1st call instead of trying to get me off the phone..

I ordered a new car battery. Unfortunately it was damaged in transit. The customer services I spoke with over the phone were not particularly helpful. I emailed and received a prompt response and they have agreed to send a replacement.

Selection of parts is always good, delivery quick, only problem is the attitude of the staff at the call centre number listed on the website. Rude as you like... real let down unfortunately

The website was really easy to use and found the parts need with ease. The price was great with a discount added also. Unfortunetly the wrong brake disks were posted out meaning a job that had been put off till the weekend would have to wait another week, resulting in another working week without my car. Exchanging the disks was fairly hassle free, but rather than have them delivered I collected them from the local branch.

More people on the counters. Once you start processing a customers order at the counter, sales staff shouldn’t get distracted and start talking among them self’s.

My mechanic fitted the thermostat and it failed 2 hours later, wasted 3ltrs of concentrated anti freeze and 1 and half hours of labour at £45.00 an hour, to say l am not amused is a understatement, why are you supplying such interior parts, purchased a genuine replacement thermostat from TPS, yes a little bit more expensive, BUT it works. I am currently seeking legal advice, unless you can offer a suitable resolve, l look forward to your prompt response.

When i put my Reg in the car description it stated it knew it was an automatic. I had Manual parts listed unknown to me and i ordered one by mistake. Upon fitting i then realised it was the wrong part and had to drive back to exchange. Why are manual parts listed for an automatic car?

I have been purchasing parts from you for number of years.. As you have 30 days exhange / refund policy.. As you were giving blackfriday deals.. The product difference was in my favour to save some money.. On this occasion I went to exchange The remarks I got back from other members of staff standing around you can be charged handling fee. And exchanged various comments to my consumer rights .. as they made out to be too much paperwork. However I ordered online ordering reservations and the price to pay at the store. Above all I am happy to shop as I was given impression the amount involved was not significant I did managed to exhange.. As far as I was concerned I was within your terms and conditions of contracts..

This is my story. On the 1st of November I ordered a battery and selected home delivery. (I live approximately 20 miles from the nearest GSF branch which is Canterbury). It arrived on the 3rd of November. I opened the box to find the battery carrying handle missing and acid droplets all over the inside of the plastic wrapping. I know it was acid as it burnt my thumb. I made contact via the chat line and spoke with Keane. Very apologetic, very helpful he organised a replacement dated the 5th of November. It arrived I think the 7th of November. The box has obviously been dropped and on opening there was acid everywhere. I phoned sales (unfortunately I didn't make a note of the name), but again very apologetic and very helpful. He explained that he is unable to send another battery but would refund my money and organise a click and collect. This he did. The following day I made a round trip of nearly 40 miles to collect the battery. On the 7th of November I organised a click and collect for a coolant flange for a Volkswagen Golf and three lightbulbs for a Volvo. I duly arrived to collect the items Thursday, the 8th of November. The Coolant Flange was the wrong one. Sales assistant, again very polite and helpful, took the part number from the old item, which luckily I taken along, cross-referenced and ordered a replacement which was due in the following day. He said he would phone me the next day to tell me when it was in. The Volvo bulbs ,(2 number plate bulbs and 1 side light bulb), that were ready for collection were the wrong ones. I had been careful to select "number plate" bulbs which would obviously be clear. I was offered "very" blue ones. I actually apologised to them thinking I maybe i had selected the wrong ones. I have since checked, and I had selected the right ones! No problem, they just changed them. On Friday, the 9th of November by 2 o'clock I hadn't heard from the Canterbury branch. So I phoned to enquire as to news of the Coolant Flange. A very helpful man, ( judging by his accent,Welsh),could find no record of the order but spent a considerable time looking. I even described the sales assistant who'd been helping. He apologised and asked if he could call me back. 20 minutes later I had a phone call, (from the man at the counter who'd been dealing with the order). He called to say that the part was in and ready for collection. Literally one minute later the Welsh gentleman phoned to apologise but could find no trace of this order.!!! The Coolant Flange was collected and the sales assistant pointed out that the blanking plug on the original flange would need to be transferred to the new unit. I thanked him very much for his help and went on my way. The following day, having fitted the Coolant Flange( which fitted perfectly), came the time to fit the original blanking plug. It's too small, or rather the hole is too big. On Saturday the 10th I visited the GSF website I found a blanking plug listed with the coolant flange. I ordered home delivery. It arrived yesterday Wednesday the 14th. I tried to fit it today Thursday the 15th. It to is to small, same size as the original. I phoned sales, explained. Again very polite, apologetic and tried to be helpful. He suggested that perhaps I tried buying a blanking plug from Volkswagen. I pointed out to him, it will be the same size as the ones I already have. He then suggested taking the flange off and returning it for a refund! All I need is a blanking plug to fit. Why would you sell one without the other? I've since bought a water pump. The garage haven't tried to fit it yet, but I'm worried, very worried, Excellent items. Very polite, helpful staff. I don't know, something missing!

Recently purchased a set of brake discs and pads online for my mk 5 golf. I had used my car registration number to find the correct parts only to find when I went to fit the new pads they were the wrong ones. Not ideal, so hopefully a return visit I will succeed in getting the correct ones.

Good quality parts and prices as usual, but collection experience in the branch was weak. It took several minutes for someone to even acknowledge that I was waiting to be served despite no other customers in the shop, and then several more minutes to get served. Service not particularly friendly, and having to pay for individual orders separately took up a lot of unnecessary time.
