I’m a taxi driver we do get some discount from GSF if u forget to mention about u r taxi driver then u can’t get discount and counter staff get angry in another way once they give u the price or u didn’t tell them u r taxi driver u can’t get discount

The gentleman at the kirkstall road branch are fab, always polite and on the ball. I'm always happy to pop in if I need anything. But I am disappointed that the unsubscribe link on your emails does not work, and that I have been contacted for a review despite asking to be unsubscribed via your webchat function. Service in store is great - but items in store are not priced, and web portal needs a rethink: It says there is a "Low Price Promise", but there are no details of what that actually means. And web/email adverts are very misleading, 23rd Jan "Dont miss out on 59% off." 24/1 "Last chance to get 59%" 25/1 60%off! 26/1 58% off, 27/1 Last chance to get 58%... 28/1 Massive sale 60% off. Even worse than the never-ending DFS sales!!! Shame, as prices overall are okay, but it is very hard to compare whether it is better to buy in store or order online and collect, or go to another autofactor where base prices are typically 50% lower on the items I was looking for

Quick dispatch but wrong oil filters sent. Also no invoice or note enclosed in parcel. However got them exchanged at the Belfast branch.

1) VIP code would not work! 2) items that were not in stock but could be ordered for collection in a couple of days could not be added to the basket. 3) prices are often inflated online so you could enter “vip code” to bring it inline to what it could be bought in store for, taking the customers for fools!

Normally good quality parts and quick easy customer service. Recent order delivered broken, but was returned for quick refund and new parts reserved quickly for collection under good quality offers, so all good in the end.

reserved online two bearings but when collecting only one was in stock managed to saved the other one for reuse

I ordered a battery as a click and collect item, when I arrived at the store,(a modern purpose built building, but without an effective heating system) armed with the downloaded delivery note, they said they would have to order it in. I telephoned the next nearest GSF store showing stock, they did a physical stock check for me, and I went and bought it from them, It was however nine months old, and had never had a top-up charge, but I would not expect "motor factor" staff to know anything about such things these days. The price at 60% off for an OEM part was however very good.

Easy to use online and to order/click and collect for parts. Unfortunately,when I arrived at the store,they couldn’t find my order form and upon fitting of the parts,my brake pads were without any wiring that is required for my vehicle,I did put the reg number into the search.

GSF car parts are ok if all other supliers are out of stock so your desperate and your local GSF store has it in. Do not be fooled by the amazing looking discounts they send out every month. There was 65% online discount off all parts this Christmas yet the prices before applying the offer were 70-75% more expensive than all other parts retailers for example diesel filter @Euro car parts £12.00 VS GSF £38 then 65% off = £13.30... the discounts are just a gimmic to look good. I do use them from time to time and do get a good service in store but I rated 3 for overall experience in store and online but it’s the stupid offers that makes me lower the score.

Your parts are good, as are the prices, but the website is a nightmare. Even your own staff admit that numerous people complain about it.

Ordered oil online for collection at Reading branch. Got confirmation of collection order a short while later and drove to Reading (20 mile round journey) to collect. Despite on line confirmation, the assistant at Reading branch advised me that they hadn't stocked that oil for about 2 months so had none, despite the online confirmation saying it was in stock. Basically he said there was nothing he could do but relented after a while once I pointed out my wasted journey etc. He then found an acceptable alternative, which resolved the problem & so saved the day for me and GSF's reputation.
