Brake pads did have to be filed down as they stuck on! Lesson learnt.

Although your website states a Saturday closing time of 4pm, after driving 10 miles to the Barnstaple branch and arriving at 3:30pm I found it was CLOSED!!!

Having not purchased many parts for a while and recently needing to purchase quite a lot of parts I was surprised at how different the prices vary between suppliers. You really do have to shop around. During the last few weeks I have bought parts on-line, through Euro car-parts and also GSF, of all of the suppliers I found GSF to be be best overall supplier, although I would still use the other suppliers to ensure I purchase each item at the lowest price. I recently purchased an anti roll bar link from the Oldbury store and paid £9 for it and then needed another so phone up the store and was told that if I pop in the following day to collect the brake pads I had ordered online I could purchase a second anti roll bar link at the same price. I was disappointed when the following day the staff in store had no knowledge of my conversation and the had to pay more for the same part as had purchased just days before. My advice is to shop around, use the discount codes but also mention other suppliers in store as they may well match/beat the price. GSF are good like all suppliers a business so out to make money so inflate their prices and then give you discount codes to lower the price.

My experience is a mixed one. In the first visit I just popped in and asked for the part I needed. Didn't get quite a good customer servive and neither the part I was after, even though it showed in stock there at that branch. Second time I reserved the part online and rang them up to double check if it's really there. The same person from the last visit was there at the counter very friendly this time got the parts paid and left under 2 minutes. Can't leave without mentioning the rude message on the side window of your office which says " This is a one way mirror, if you can see us we have fixed the wrong way around, so please don't bother to wave" come on this is not some body's bedroom window is it ? You are a business we are customers who are here to purchase, and if you are not at the desk stop lounging in the office come out to the counter.

Drove to erdington branch wanted me to buy wrong part .that's the wrong one i told him ,But he wouldn't have it. went home rang another branch said they had correct part where you've just been .Ordered online .Had to pay extra postage and go without car for 2 days .poor service .good parts

Computers were down when my husband picked up our new battery, was told they would send us the receipt/ guarantee, still haven’t received it nearly two weeks later, bargain prices though with the codes

Hi! I like the opportunity to buy some parts on owsom prices, but unfortunately there are simple parts ( like driveshafts ) that you are not offering for more than common vehicles...Also giving opportunity to write to the customer service to add a vehicle reg to be easier to use the online services should be with different answer than an issue with DVLA..

Purchased a fuel regulator for my vw transporter, when I opened the box it was in a bank money bag and was clearly was used part, when I took it back for another one the assistant said here's a" brand new one " that's what I thought I was purchasing first time! I thought gsf were a motor factors not a breakers yard outlet.....

Bit disappointed really I’ve been using gsf for 2 years now been happy with there service until last week when I ordered some stuff only to get to my local branch and every things out of stock Waste of journey So had to go euro car parts Sorry gsf 😁

Was very happy with the price of the product but disappointed at the customer service was left feeling bad for the maneger as when I ordered he was going on about how he is losing money on the battery I brought as I ordered online with the discount it’s the first time I’ve shopped somewhere and they have almost told me of from buying from them and made me to feel very guilty

Review would have been better had i used the click and collect service as normal however I used the postal option and it took well over a week to arrive not good when you have a oil leak. When using the discount code sent out via email the prices are great but the postal side for parts is disapointing .

They sent me the wrong part (and it was also in APPALLING condition). This was rectified easily but still a bit irritating.

Ordered battery clamps on line, added vehicle details so I had the impression the parts were vehicle specific. They weren’t, nor were they fit for the intended application as the battery cables are too heavy for the clamps. These will be going back for a refund.
