Part didn't fit and no refund 7 days later after return

This was my first ever order with GSF I purchased some filters for a car service. I made the order online and went in to store to collect. I got in to the store 15mins before they closed up, when I was there, I waited a short time to collect my order whilst waiting I noticed the guys started to close the shutters 5mins before 2pm which made me feel rushed. One I received the order I was informed that I must go through the back office to get out as the front entrance is now closed. As a customer this was not a good experience as it felt like a back street store. When I got back to the garage and the filters were changed I was informed by the garage that I have the wrong oil filter but I ordered the correct one online. The garage said they would need to book me in again and I would obviously need to get the correct part. A week later on Saturday I went back to the store which is around a 30min drive from where I live and they apologied because the wrong part was picked up by GSF staff and gave me the correct one. I made them aware that I have had to drive back and I live 30mins away and I have had to book extra time with the garage, Zak at the desk Said 'nothing personal sorry we can't do anything'. I then went away to go back to the garage which is around 20mins away to fit the filter and later I called in to the branch and made a complaint with Barry who said a manager named Paul will call me back on the Monday. I didn't receive any calls from anyone and I called them back on the Thursday to which they then offered to discount the price of the part which was around £6! I spent around an extra 2 hours of my time to get the part, go to the garage and get it fitted and travel back home because of a mistake they made. I feel this could have been avoided if they did not rush on the day. They could have improved their customer service by just discounting the part when I went in instead of waiting a week and making things worse. They didn't even acknowledge the fact that j have had to drive jn again and book time with garage which means extra costs for me. I think GSF need to put themselves in the customers shoes when something like this happens. Human errors are common and OK but it's how you deal with them that matters and on this occasion I feel the service could have been better.

to be honest im not happy ! i ordered a oil dipstick says it was for my car got it dosent fit why say it will fit to me that is false advertisement ! rang them up and basically send it back im not gona pay postage to send it back being it was there fault !

My recent order of brake pads and discs - all packaging for the pads and discs were damaged inside of the Parcelforce box. it would have been really helpful if there was a note from GSF saying the packaging is damaged, but all parts have been checked and all is correct.

Even with the supposed 60% discount the cost was only about £5 cheaper. Plus I had to question the oil filter ( lucky in store) as I was given the wrong one. Not a great experience.

Rather disappointing. Received the wrong part, despite providing the VRN for correct part verification purposes. Resolution wasn't very customer focussed. Option to of course buy again and hope the right one is sent and to then have the rigmarole of returning the incorrect item. It would have been better service to have sent the right one and then included a prepaid return bag. Simpler to cut my losses.

First of all they gave me a used Air filter when I took it back it back than they didn't give me the Air filter I paid for (Mann) they give me the cheaper one. Not happy at all. On your website it was about £2.00 different.

Right parts sent out but it took nearly a week to get the parcel from Parcel Force after the first failed delivery note. You need a better parcel carrier!!

Staff ignored me on arrival. Long wait for attention for click-and-collect. One member of staff seemed perved about the amount of document entry he had to do onto the computer.

Not Happy, used the website and put in my vehicle details, which the site recognised to buy a Battery. The wrong battery arrived and when I contacted you I was told I had ordered a battery by part no, which I did not. The one that was sent was not for a vehicle I own, The correct battery even with a discount code was dearer than I could buy locally so I went with that. The battery was collected from me on 27/02 and it took until 02/03 to get a refund.

I was in a hurry and i purchased the item online to come and collect, I was refused because head office didn't approve the sale in time and the shop couldn't give me an invoice for the item.

Put in my reg, on website then listed a selection of battery's i selected a battery the shipping time was very fast but the battery that was delivered was wrong size for my car. Called customer service was told to flow instructions on the wed site, returned battery at the cost of £11.00. refunded for the cost of the batter but not return shipping cost; so £11.00 out of pocket

Having used the GSF website to identify the parts we required we were disappointed to find that the sump was not compatible with the one fitted to the car - and the gasket ordered didn't either, in fact it didn't even fit the ordered sump!!! We therefore lost confidence. So whilst the discount offered gave a competitive part pricing the parts were of no use. To keep thing simple we returned all the parts within the order - and things aren't simple here either. Returning the parts to a local store basically didn't give us a refund - we now have to wait for the local store to return the parts to the web site store and at that point hopefully we will be refunded. Thus even though the prices at the local stores are significantly higher, am not sure we will be using the web site again.

There was a mix up over the delivery address so what was expected next day on a Friday arrived on a Tuesday the following week. I also found a roll of security take in the packaging which was strange as Id ordered bulbs which could have been easily damaged in transport. Was disappointed with the experience as GSF are really good it was just let down by the delivery company

wrong parts given. was told when I took back. "you shouldn't even have been given this. they was recalled 2018." wasted time n extra day off work so could get car sorted

Probably won't use this Company agine as now a few times I've been told thay have the parts in stock go all the way there n wait like 30+MINTS to be told we're every so sorry we don't have that in stock shocking way to run a business will be using euro car parts or car spears from now on
