I purchased a radiator cap which fell apart when i tightened it! Went to local branch and the one they had in stock had already fallen apart in the box! think that GSF need better quality supply chain, although a cheap part, could cause catastrophic damage to engine.

The online order was supposed to be ready within the hour. It wasn't. This is despite the fact that I went after a period of 1 hour. At the counter a mistake was made in picking the order. One item was not picked. I corrected this error.

I was supposed to recieve 2 free car plan windscreen washes when I purchased 2 windscreen wiper but only give 1 and no altnertive was offered.

Manged to found the part i was looking for online,reserved quick and easy, but customer servicre at the branch was very poor, which I felt like stuff was not to bothered to help me out, as a customer that felt really bad... sorry to say but that was my experience with your company.

Good promt service GSF and mats were a spot on fit but they were wafer thin and should have been half the price,basically tailored £ shop mats.

Ordered a new exhaust with a fitting kit, put the correct registration no in the details on their website, come to fit the exhaust and there were parts missing, securing nuts, wrong flange, contacted GFS Barnstaple where I brought the parts and was told the parts I needed were not part of the kit and I should shop around. Very disappointed with the response, even harder in North Devon where you have to travel 40 miles round trip to pick up parts you would expect to get when you order from a reputable supplier, live and learn, I will take my business else where.

i did call you before i ordered to make sure your cam belt kit for Audi A4 came with a hydrulic cam tentioner, i was told it did so i went ahead and ordered only to find when my mechanic opened box it didnt !!!! Now have had to source another 1 so this kit will be coming back to you for refund.

Not packed very well, inner packaging broken. Pretty sure I ordered two bosch wipers but got one bosch snd one hella...it fitted so its on but that's life...

Please start taking more responsibility for the quality of the parts you sell. I belong to a fairly influential car club, and this is a very widespread gripe about GSF and ECP. It is simply not acceptable to sell "standard" and "premium" parts where in reality "standard" means that the part is very likely to be substandard. I have many friends who within the last few months have started going back to buying OEM from main dealers because they've been stung by one or the other of you once too often A month ago I bought a remanufactured brake calliper from you which leaked straight out of the box, as did the second one. One the third attempt we found one that wasn't faulty. This causes huge inconvenience and cost to customers and I think playing this kind of game - especially with braking components - is very dangerous not only to customers' safely but also to your brand reputation. If the reality of the GSF brand is that "standard' actually means "very possibly faulty" and customers "pay their money and take their chances" (a very common phrase used by the guys at your Roehampton branch, you might be interested to know), then people might as well take those chances on eBay, and you will eventually end up with no brand at all. Give me a call if you like. I'm an experienced home mechanic who also happens to work in the marketing consultancy business, and I hate to see businesses go bad because of simple mistakes that are easily avoided. You may be surprised to know that warranty issues on our ‘standard’ branded lines, are actually very low. The manufacturers we choose to stock here at GSF are ones that we’ve worked with for years and know the quality they can provide us. From time to time you will find across any kind of brand – standard or premium – that one of two items in a run will be faulty. Unfortunately on this occasion it appears you’ve received the couple from a batch that have been faulty. Thankfully for us at GSF, this is a rare kind of problem. I was sent an email advising that wiper blades were reduced by 20%. When I stopped by the store the next day to purchase some, the price did not reflect such a reduction. When I queried same, it was explained that the 20% only applied to on-line purchases, so recommended to use click and collect. Fortunately, I was able to go past the next day and effect same. Highly annoying all the same as the conditions were not abundantly clear.

Purchased service items including oil. When I received the items, the oils had split over all the goods. Air filter soaked and thrown away. Plugs all loose at bottom of box some out of their boxes and covered in oil. Poor packaging.

Overall service ok. Same as euro car parts. You order and collect. Returning parts service is very poor. They charged me 20% handling fee when I returned a part the next day. Did not use the part, still brand new in box but still got charged. I have other parts to return but rather keep them then lose out.

Website was ok and got all my parts that i needed but when i went to collect them at the kingston branch the guy behind the counter wouldnt say anthing to me except tell me the price, made it quite clear he didnt want me inside the shop. Not going back there in a hurry.
