The suspension parts I bought are commonly supplied with the fixing bolts. I first spotted the GSF ones on eBay, where they were pictured as such, complete with bolts. I bought them from the GSF website though because I had a discount code, and was reassured because the part number was the same, and the part was referred to as coming with "Accessories", which I took to be the bolts. When the parts came, there were no bolts. I sent an email to customer services who tell me that despite the photo and promise of "accessories", they do not come with the bolts! If this is the case, they need to alter both their eBay listing AND website as it's completely misleading! I bought from GSF because of the bolts-I could have got the bare parts cheaper elsewhere. I'm VERY disappointed.

I placed the order on a Saturday night, after the local branch closed, and selected 'Click and Collect' so I could make sure the branch had stock on Monday after work. The branch was closed on Sunday, so I was rather surprised to receive an email at 1AM on Monday morning to say "Click and Collect order not Collected", but they would give me an additional 24 hours, or I could request home delivery! I replied to this, but didn't get a response. The other thing was one of the items was a free gift as I bought a qualifying product. The online invoice showed zero value, but when I collected it, the store charged me a penny for the "free" item. OK, I got something for a penny, which was a significant saving, but to say it was free, then charge me something didn't sound right! The branch appeared to go and pick the items off the shelf, so it wasn't even a saving in collection time & I wasn't convinced the items had been reserved for me. Overall not a good experience.

Poor quality control. Wrong item was despatched in post. Was sent petrol fuel filter for diesel car. I tried to contact customer support on phone number on invoice for 45 mins (ringing no reply). I then contacted local branch who said I could not swap in store so had to send it back and then reorder correct part to pick up at local branch. Ended up wasting time and diesel to sort out GSF problem. Overall mark poor (4/10).

After ordering on line to collect from the Castle Bromwich depot I travelled 30 miles each way only to find that the roof bars as quoted do not fit my vehicle. Staff were very helpfull but although showing the correct item in stock ,it was in fact not in stock.

The problem is that you have poor description of the parts and price is not adequate to quality. You sell unbranded parts for more then they worth. I personally prefer Euro car parts as they provide information and I know what I'm buying which I can't say about gsf

Ordered some oil three days ago and still nothing . Phone calls only produce assurances that it's on its way- but when. Used to use this company a lot but things like this means I will not bother in future.

When I entered my registration number I thought you knew what you were doing,I was so wrong ,when it came up as "Recommended 6 spark plugs" so I bought only 6. When I started pulling the sparks plugs cables I noticed that my car uses 2 per cylinders= 12 spark plugs in total.I have left the old plugs for now,until I get some free time to go to an outlet to get 6 more. I took the opportunity to ask a question on line:the question I asked was "Please could you check how many spark plugs a Mercedes ml 350 3.7 w163 series year 2003 uses.A replied came back as Bosch FR8DPP33+7422+45. They never answered my question of how many plugs. I was disappointed,I never had any problem with the Staff at GSF Farnham,they have always been very helpful.We buy all our service parts from GSF as we have 4 Mercedes vehicles in the family. Hello Raouf, Apologies we missed the fact that your vehicle has two plugs per cylinder. It's not always obvious that this is the case. We will update the information on our website to reflect that there are two plugs per cylinder and not use the usual cylinder count. The custom fit car mats are made to order by our supplier as stated in the description and so are sent separately. This is why in the description it states the delivery time is 3-5 working days. I placed an order on the GSF website, the item arrived incorrectly although the part number was correct. I visited my local GSF and was told that they would not exchange for the correct part. I had to re-buy the right part and then fill out a form to return the wrong part to Birmingham. GSF are the only company who have this item, 10/10 for stock but 1/10 for the return process.

order was made for mats said in stock ready to send 3 to 5 day5 order was put in on 2nd before 10am now 6th no mats emailed you twice no reply phoned twice not happy wanted the mats for a vw meet in france on sunday the 8th june wont get them now will I your web site does not make it clear they are made to order your guy on the phone even said could be 6 or 7 days will be meeting with near to 200 other vw owners might let them know how good the service is from gsf used local branch a lot well hacked off now might change to euro car parts wait from you with a reply I wonder thanks trevor day.

Dispite the fackt that website asked me for registration plate numbers I Still recrieved wrong part. I hope the shipping cost of returning my part will be covered by GSF. Apart from that website looks farly easy to navigate and prices are good. Fast shipping.

Since I normally receive good to excellent service from GSF (and its predecessor companies/partners, with whom I have been dealing for about 40 years) it is unfortunate that this review is solicited after a less good, fragmented and unsatisfactory experience. However, there are at least 3 lessons to be learned! Noticing that my ATS replacement silencers lasted less time than the originals and Peugeot replacemements I decided to look at the options and decided a top quality product from GSF was worth a try, so I went on line to order the parts, selecting the appropriate vehicle from my stable/garage and looking at the complete exhaust parts list. There I found standard quality and Bosal silencers, and selected the Bosal. Knowing that the week point of Peugeot 406 exhausts was the hangers I decided to by replacement parts and a couple of spares. My basket was a Bosal fitting kit (two hangers and a clamp) PLUS two spare "better quality" hangers (also Bosal). Noticing that the illustrations of lugs were different on the two silencer options I decided on the Bosal hangers. Then things went wrong. 1) Silencer was available by post, as were the hangers, but not the kit. 2) Kit was available at local (16 miles round trip) store, but not the silencer. SO...I ordered the silencer and spare hangers online, phoned my local store to confirm availability then went to collect. HOWEVER, despite the fact that on;line and in-store the kit was supposed to be available there were none in stock. Ordered for next day - to be collected (another 16 mile trip). 3) Silencer and hangers arrived early next morning - excellent service - but the hangers did not fit the silencer (too small). Phone query to Birmingham suggested return via my local (Letchworth) branch (when collecting the kit); however, I wanted to get YOUR website sorted out. Your man in Birmingham initially denied that the hangers I had ordered were listed for my registration, but eventually we realised that they were - when he selected the Bosal hanger option - so I TRUST this has now been sorted. 4) I now have the kit (collected Saturday) but was unable to collect the correct (spare) hangers at Letchworth (not in stock), and since I had not taken the order number etc I was reluctant to return the unwanted hangers. These will be returned, with a copy of the paperwork next time I pass through Letchworth (I'm not making a special trip for a couple of spares). SO in summary - SORT OUT YOUR SYSTEMS - the people were very helpful and did their best to compensate for less than perfect stock control, stock reporting and parts matching. They also have to face the unfortunate customer! I am hoping that the strange noise from my GSF replacement starter motor (desperately fiddly to fit to the Peugeot 406) does not turn out to be a parts matching error - e.g. wrong size of teeth?? ....especially since it was only the solenoid at fault in the first place!!

Got here pretty quickly, however when I tried to fig the part it didn't fit. It required me to reshape the hook with a sander for about half an hour to get it to the right shape and fit into the lock barrel.

Spent my last bit of monet on a part for my car. Then item suggested by the website was incorrect despite inserting the reg etc of my car. I now have to wait for money to go back on mycard before I am able to get my car on the road again...
