Difficult website to navigate and you cant browse without putting in a car, I wanted a part from another car to fit my car but I couldn't browse. Offer code didn't work but was valid. A frustrating experience, Not very impressed at all and annoyed enough to actually write this as normally I wouldn't bother.

For conversions we would advise selecting a representative vehicle that you are thinking of taking donor parts from. I ordered a brake shoe fitting kit by way of click and collect from the Sheffield store , however the website was playing up and i rang the store to confirm they had the parts as the website said they were in stock then they were not in stock , after ringing the store they confirmed they were not in stock , however the next day i received an email telling me i had not picked up my order and they would be kept for 24 hours ( confused ) . it was too late I had already sourced another fitting kit and it was £ 5 cheaper than G.S.F. .

No record of my request when I got to the shop I had printed my e mail confirmation Then I get e mail saying I had not collected the part! No worries only a small value item but does not build confidence in you system

Placed a click and colllect order at Lakeside GSF. Email said items could be collected after 1 hour. I left it a full day to make sure it would be ready as it was a big order and i didnt want to be waiting in branch. Thats the whole point of using "click and collect" for me. Arrived to collect and had to queue for a good 10 minutes. I got to the counter and was told it still needed picking... waited at the counter for about 15 minutes and was told by someone from the office (looked like the manager) he had chased the picker a few times on the phone and they were dealing with the order. Waited quite a bit longer and the manager then went out to help find the order (he did apologose for the delay). Parts did start coming out and the manager washelping. there were now what looked like 3 people picking it and the manager checking the order on the desk! A part was forgotton and they went back and re-picked it. Finally paid and left. The whole point of pre-ordering was so i didnt have to stand and wait for a large order. This is my 2nd visit to GSF and the 2nd time i have been disatisfied with the service. I wish there was a euro car parts near my work adress!

I reserved the items online using my reg and I collected shocks started to fit them only to discover they where the wrong shocks, when I spoke to branch they said it's often wrong on line, so I asked why don't they check when I collected (knowing the online system doesn't work properly) I got told not there fault blame the company !!

Tried to place order online, but was told it could not be processed. Had to pay higher price in store, but then found email confirming order when I got back home.

The wipers were delivered quickly and were easy to fit. Haven't really tried them in the wet yet so cannot say if Valeo are any good or not and no alternatives were listed. Found the ordering process a bit of a pain as the website died on me just after I paid and had to phone GSF directly to ensure the order had been placed. The order never appeared on "My Orders", so it was a relief when they were delivered. Unfortunately, as I was unaware they had been despatched I was not in for the delivery and had to go and pick them up from a local depot. On the whole, experience spoilt by the ordering process.

Purchased a rear light cluster for a mk1 golf, I was a bit suspicious as it was the only one left availiable when I bought it. It was also a pattern part and only £16 but I thought I would give it a go. I didn't expect the same finish as a VAG dealership part but to be honest the quality was shocking. The bonding between the glass and black backing of the cluster was terrible, twisted up uneven and melted?! It would of clearly been visible when fitted. The light did not line up at all when fitted and the damaged edges were clearly visible. I cannot believe that no one at GFS realised his before shipping the part, my assumption is that the light was a returned faulty item hence the last one left. Anyways now have the inconvenience of having to ship the item back and pay for postage in order to get a refund. I can forgive a part that is sent out in good visible condition which later develops a fault. What I cannot for give is staff that send out a clearly visible faulty or substandard item.

We were given the right box but the wrong part was inside. This meant a return journey to the store and the loss of half a day while the right part was delivered to store which we then had to go and collect

Order no. 100107759 17/10/14 reserved above part from your harlow branch as claimed to have 2 in stock as my local branch in Chelmsford had no stock, needed the clutch repair kit for my son's VW Golf in a hurry as was stranded in Braintree. Arrived at branch with my E-Mail proof of order, soon became apparent that they could find no trace of the part and was questioned as to whether I had ordered from Ebay?? confirmed that order had been placed on your own site, 2 people searched around and upstairs but found no trace, I was then told they could order me the part again for collection on Tues 21st, or the thurrock or Tottenham branch apparently has them in stock, i explained that the Tues was no good as i needed the part today and as I had travelled from Chelmsford was not prepared to go to either of the other branches as they claimed to have the stock.I then asked to speak to the manager who again insisted that stock should be there but could not be found, i wa on the verge of insisting they get the part from another branch delivered to Harlow when one of the assistants came back to ask if the parts he had found in the bottom of a box were anything like the missing item, indeed it was exactly the part but had no identification info with it. Thankfully I managed to fit the part and get my son's car mobile again but was left feeling very disappointed with your service, hopefully this was an isolated incident and hope I will not have to use your Harlow branch in future. Thanks anyway for the supply of part although could have been a less stressful experience with a bit of organisation and stock control of your branch

Although the part I ordered, an intercooler for a VW T5, was delivered speedily it was not the original equipment made by BEHR that GSF advertised. In my view there were serious and inexplicable manufacturing flaws in the unit they sent and I queried this. It was admitted that the unit was from another manufacturer and my concerns were understood. GSF checked their existing stock and found it all to be the same but no one could explain why the unit had been manufactured the way it had with a deliberately weakened frame. They said I could return the unit for a refund if I was not happy with it but the postage would be my responsibility. I think that as a) the unit sent was from a different manufacturer than advertised and b) they could not explain why it had been made the way it was, GSF should have organised and paid for its return because I certainly wasn't going to install it in my van!

Hello Graeme, Thank you for your review. Apologies about the confusion with the terminology. We state that the intercooler is as a replacement for the BEHR type and not an OE Behr replacement. On some vehicles there are different types of intercooler, the correct replacement dependent on what the type fitted by original manufacturer in the factory from new. If you are unhappy with the product and it has not been fitted , we would be happy refund it on return of the item. We do offer a free return service if you drop the part into your local branch so you can avoid paying return postage. i ordered wiper blades for my vw your web site told me they were correct ,i was unable to tell from the site ,they do not fit so having to return them this all takes time !

Sometimes there are variations on fitment in a vehicle model which is why in many cases more than one part is listed and not all of them will be correct for your specific vehicle. I was unable to pick up the click and collect the item due to the restricted opening hours of the branch. The website offered me a discount code but it wasn't clear to me at which point I should enter the code, so I was already at checkout and there didn't appear to be a method of editing the order at this point to include the discount code. I gave up on Click and Collect. I visited the branch 3 days later and bought the item the old fashioned way, over the counter.

Opening times specific to each branch can be found on our branch finder. Part arrived quickly but has failed within a few hours of fitting it. I had ordered a premium quality part but poor build quality. This is the 3rd item that has been either wrong, damaged or failed prematurely. I've bought a replacement part from another supplier thats better quality, cheaper and has worked fine.

my first attempted order on thursday failed because the 'place order' button would not activate. no assistance was offered. i managed to place the order again on friday, its now wednesday and the parts still havnt arrived.

I can see that your order was shipped on the 5th, and delivery attempted on the 8th September, but this was not delivered as no one was in, and then subsequently not collected from the post office. The reason for no discount on the second order, was because no discount code was applied by yourself to the order online at the point of reserving the stock for click and collect. Please note that the discounts cannot be applied in store, not retrospectively, but only at the point of the order. First attempt of purchase never went through, (online processing issue) second attempt worked....was not next day deliver like it said, had to wait for 3-4 days for delivery. Also tried to contact the online chat customer service with a query about the product ordered....had to wait for 20 mins to be helped then was cut off.....waited for another 15 mins, when I finally got to chat with someone they were most unhelpful, one word answers and then because they did not sell what I wanted just ended the conversation with no notice....bloody rude!! I feel I may stick to going in to the shops for parts because to be honest my online experience of German, Swedish and French is crap!!!

my order went to GSF six days ago with immediate payment by PayPal at the time. Sadly, I have had no information from GSF about the dispatch of my order and I await its arrival! Can you please 'chivvy them up'!!
